Selina breaks their kiss and just cuddles, blushing a lot but quite happy now, feeling safe with Nuriel for the first time in a long time. (6500)
Nuriel continues cuddling Selina protectively.
[To Selina:] <I never want to let you go...I wish I could hold you forever...>

Also, character app:

I'll let GWG fiddle with my suggested power if necessary, then complete it.
Breaker has to do with breaking the laws of physics on your own person, like Shadow Stalker's power, or that maelstrom guy from the Chicago Wards. Striker would be more applicable.
It would be Thinker. Your power seems to be a mental version of Faultline's, only it can work on living tissue and cause greater devastation. A bit OP, since Faultline is already pretty powerful.
I might allow it...but you'd better believe it would come with a drawback.

((I have a trigger event in mind (unless it turns out you can't create powers like I thought), I just need verification that I'm not derping and being OP.))
I'm interested in what this trigger event is.

Alice falls on the fall lightly due to the tickling.
((Nice and clear. Also, um...how tall is Alice, again?))

Nuriel keeps cuddling Selina. She considers asking about going further, but decides not to...Selina does not look interested.

15319
Nuriel keeps it up. She keeps wondering why it feels like someone else is doing stuff to her. She has a hunch, though...
[To Demons Run:]<What the heaven are you doing?>

15320
Sounds potentially neat. And potentially horrible.

Goddamn useless flesh. Should be reformed. Given armor and reenforced. Blood flow directed to vital areas. Muscle fibres thickened...

Theorize on how to improve squishy flesh.
((Obvious answer: Replace it with metal. Now piecewise has to think of an unobvious answer!))

15322
((Finished Worm... I am sad now...))
((That's pretty much how we all feel. Why doncha do something more cheerful, like playing Save the Date? ...Which actually helped me feel better somehow.))

15323
Tip: The GM will usually follow the intent, rather than the letter, of your turn.
Glad to hear it!

Respawn.

Nuriel kisses back, passionately.

After Selina stops, Nuriel smiles, a bit sad that it couldn't be longer but glad that is was. She gave Selina a nice hug around the chest, pausing. It felt like someone was hugging her...what?

(oh great, now I have stasis dementia)
((Robots get stasis dementia?))

Here's the thing, cheese grater, by the time you ride that elevator back up and go meandering toward the hanger door with your box of alien fluff balls there's gonna be a storm of metal and lasers raining down all over that place. So, I'm gonna assume your character is gonna exercise a modicum of self preservation and Not walk straight into that. Instead he's gonna stay down on the surface and wait for all the bodies to hit the floor, like a bad 90's flash animation.
((Good call.))
"This was...unexpected."

Pancaek holds the wall above the gangway as long as he can, his teammates returning fire through the quickly accumulating barrier of kinetically drained gauss shells. Finally, as he feels his mental strength begin to wane, he focuses the last of it for one, final action. Stopping bullets like this, over such a wide area, is hard. But giving them a bit of a kinetic kick backwards? Thats simple.

Pankcaek thrusts his hands forward and the invisible barrier flexes inward for an instant before exploding outward. Hundreds of fist sized metal projectiles rocket back into the building like the innumerable shrapnel blades of some great frag grenade. The remaining glass of the windows, the metal dividers between each level, the concrete of the floors themselves, it all wilts and shatters beneath the barrage, cloaking the area around the gangway and windows in a thick haze of pulverized concrete. The shooting doesn't completely stop, but it gets damn close.

Pancaek staggers back behind cover and falls down.

"Bullet postage invalid. Return to sender."
"Is it safe, Miss Feyri?"

You call Alice.

"Hello? Oh, it's you! You're calling about dinner tonight, aren't you? I'm not sure where we were planning to go...I don't remember if we decided. Where would you like to go?"

>A: "How about burgers at McDonalds?"
>B: "I could go for some Chinese food. They have this nice place down by the bay, Pearl Dragon or something."
>C: "Taco night? You can't go wrong with tacos."

Forum Games and Roleplaying / Save the Date: Bay12 Edition

I was playing Save the Date for a while earlier. I've been through it around 50 times and gotten pretty much every ending. It's not a cheerful game, but it does get philosophical at times.

So. Here it is: A forum version of the same. It's a suggestion game, where you try to go through a date without disaster occurring.

Yes.

"Ah, my mistake...probably too many 'pranks' from that fraternity which ended with being knocked unconscious. In any case...I don't suppose you have any idea of how to escape the lava? Maybe get to where those people are?" Harold shifts May to his other shoulder. It was surprising how heavy even smaller people got after a while.
