Yeah, I saw that whole NE thing. I also noted that 4/6 of my barefisted punches can kill you in a single hit.

(Also, you need to deal hp+10 lethal damage to kill.)

(I only need hp+1 to kill, since you're effectively dead without help at that point. Also, I refer you to my Improved Unarmed Strike.)

I have a character idea I want to see done, one that's a little heavy on the optimization (but in the completely wrong direction) so it feels like it'd be overpowered with a low optimization group.  In all honesty, it's just a Blaster Sorcerer done silly.  25d8 Sound Lance + half to 18 other targets.  Enters into its realm at 16.  Only average Sorcerer strength until then, but hey, it's still amusing.

Edit: Derp, I totally miscalculated the damage.  It isn't a 25d8 Sound Lance.  It's a 25d8 + 12d8 Sound Lance + half of that to 18 other targets.  That's a little more silly.

Edit 2: Not quite true.  I thought about it again, and it ends up as 15d8 + 21d8, so 36d8 rather than 37d8.

And then every enemy in the campaign bought items generating Silence fields, because holy fuck.

Personally, I think I'll be going for a (Bard or Rogue)6/Dread Pirate4/Legendary Captain 10.
It will be delicious.

Edit: DON'T DITCH SURVIVAL. It's very useful for sailors. Predicting the weather and such.
