That reminds me of a game I was running a while back that was exactly that.I remember now. You started at the end of the story, and worked your way backwards.I was thinking of creating something somewhat similar last night, but I forget what it was. It wasn't quite this, but it was kinda close.Create a dodge to roll. You must describe an outcome. A dice will then be rolled. Based off of that roll, the action which produced that outcome will be determined. Normal inverse (or inverse normal, depending on how you want to look at it) rolling descriptions apply.Hm. Anyone up to making an experimental game like that?
((No one questions Ari serously noone))((He's positively normal at this school.
((Everyone in the labyrinth were forced to experience their greatest fears, then encountered a doppelgänger version of themselves.))((Dammit, I just realized what Angel's worst fear would have been!))
((Actually, the worst fear thing was from a book we both read.((What book?))
Sort of an inside joke, really.))
Anyways, fights happen with Darnos and Angel with their respective doppelgangers.((Why are you ignoring what Angel is actually doing with her doppelganger?))
Surprised, Angel cautiously approaches the other her.
Another spotlight shines.Angel wonders how that is physically possible, and if it is safe to hug Jason.
It reveals Jason with his knees to his chest 20 meters away. He wears a trench coat and has two fans of knives that has 10 each in his hands.
He seems to be the real Jason.
Before anyone could do anything, He lunges at two of the bullies, stabbing both of them in the chest. The third knife is thrown at the third bully and hits him square in the chest. All three bodies rot upon contact with the knives.Angel shudders. A lot. She clings to Isaac's leg.
Jason stands back up.
I understand. I'm trying to be informative, not corrective.Mass healing spells are not Touch range.Hence the typically.
@LeoLeonardoIII: CLW at will is super cheesy. You can have wands of it (usable at will by anyone with CLW on their spell list), but an item that casts it at will forever is not going to use the standard pricing guidelines.(This is the point where you either state that you won't allow such an item or give an estimate.)
A kneelboat requires 8-15 people with Profession (sailor) to run it. You can fit up to 100 more people onboard who aren't sailing the ship. Hiring people to crew your kneelboat costs 3 silver per day per sailor. So 250 gold would crew the kneelboat at minimum crew for 104 days and at full crew for 55 days. If you want to convert a kneelboat into a houseboat at some point, it can hold up to 4 Stronghold Spaces worth of rooms and still stay afloat....Houseboats sound good.
So that'd leave us with:2950. Even setting aside around 1000 gold for crew expenses we would have 1950 that we could probably use to outfit the thing with stuff we'd need to sleep there somewhat comfortably. At that point we can sell any sleeping gear we have, if any. The rest could be used to build up a decent floating fortress or something. That sound alright to people?Bare minimum is a Barracks, one Stronghold Space and 400 gold for 10 beds. Given the limited space of the boat, you'd probably want to stick with one or two barrackses instead of upgrading to bedrooms or quarters of some sort.
((...Misread earlier post.))((Suffocating.))
Selina wonders what to do now... and is clearly sufficating now.
"[We c]an't be too rough. We're not a bunch of nineties anti-heroes, are we, now?"((No. We're more like a bunch of classical antiheroes.
Hey Will, we're ready"Alright, let's head out."
I would point out to GWG that prostitution wasn't typically illegal in any sort of manner for a long time, except possibly in very highly religious nations. It's called 'the oldest profession' for a reason. Though he's certainly right in that out old family was crappy. We're better off not associating with that piece of the past.Well, "criminal" is a lot easier to type over and over than "associated with prostitution". And while it is the oldest profession*, it is also one of the least prestigious; criminals and brothel-owners probably have pretty similar levels of respect among the community, and the "probably" is mostly hedging my bets in case we have forgotten that, in this culture, prostitutes are a vital part of some religious ceremony or something.
Pearl diving might give us some good cash for a while, but since hardly nobody can breath that long underwater we will have to do all the work ourselves, which shouldn't be our goal.Whatever we do, we should focus on our gifts. Our major gift right now is the ability to function well underwater, which can be used quite lucratively by pearl-diving. (It could also serve as a bonding activity between mother and son.)
