((People still accepted hugs from him after the first couple hundred fatalities?))

Grate stares at the hole, thinking.
Try to look for a stick. If found, use it to poke in the hole to try and drive the animals out. Be ready to run if they turn out to be spacescorpionbadgers or something.

15707
That was an algebra joke.

1. You are both welcome and encouraged to use the Stronghold Builder's Guidebook rules when building your fortress of doom.
Hm...for just 20,000 gp per stronghold space, you could have a house that can slowly crawl along through the air! At almost a whole foot per minute!

There's nothing wrong with ending up as Bard 8/Rouge 12. SA die of 6d6 is nought to be scoffed at.
Unless you're a lich or something.

If I do this (@other party members) should I take disable device and open lock for the sake of the group?

edit: I think I shouldn't, as they'll be difficult for me to skill with in my bard levels.
Nah, just bring along a criminal on his sentencing to do it.

I wouldn't think so.

Boxer: Approach the large animal.

she would have to lay a curse on you that would strike you dead should the sorceress find out what is up.
No.
I am mildly amused by how virtually everyone has roughly the same response to that offer. Usually, trying to get us to agree on something is like herding cats, especially if one option is bone-jarringly stupid.

I would support destroying them.
I would not.
1. We don't know how to do so safely.
2. They seem like a potentially valuable resource...especially if we can get into contact with merfolk. Or a museum. Really, those things belong in a museum.

Mixed feelings on this. It's probably a good idea, and it's an opportunity to win some fame and notoriety for ourselves in addition to solving the actual problem. If we do this we might want to push to make it known that this is our party, not Travon's, and he's our consultant rather than we're one of his recruiters.
That's just a matter of presentation. Travon is suggesting that we do the recruiting, so we can easily say "Hi, I'm putting together a party to..." rather than "Travon's leading a party and I'm asking on his behalf if..."
But then if we take credit, it has potential to end badly if Travon mangles some of the men we recruit with his inventions.

So...I suggest some discussion on this.
I think that we can do this pretty easily. Simplest solution: Request that Travon not use any machines he wouldn't use around Alred.
Maybe being more specific would help?

Turgh and Farthdul will be his teachers. Have a three way meeting and both instructors will help Koro become a warrior. Oh and be sure to tell Turgh that we want to see the matches Koro competes in. Sell the coins we got for 150 silver and use that as training money to farthdul.

Disagree with pretty much all of this.
I already made this clear in my suggestion, but...+1.
To be clear: +1 to Giglamesh.

((There is a reason he managed to stay alive in the S9, as leader of the S9, all those years.))

Once everybody is in, they are suddenly alone. Or, appear alone rather.
For each person, there is a crystalline figure across from them. They suddenly shift into mirror images of each person, respectively.
"Gods dammit..."
Angel looks around, terrified. She really, really hopes that her crystal isn't any better at fighting than she is...
It's made of crystal, that will give it a huge advantage.
You're not helping.
Yes, I am. You are. Whatever. We're the same person!

Isaac has kicked his counterpart's ass.
He is also in pain and has black vision.

The same for...Angel.
((Huh?))

15713
Yes.

I believe that spawning takes your whole turn.

Check the OP; there's a convenient document with that kind of data in it.

15714
That mechanism gives quite variable results.

Walter has time for one more minor action.

((Pretty sure the ~6:00 "crowd" of RP is over. Cado, Void: Try to finish up the dining room drama and describe what you do in the rest of the evening.))

"Sleeping is a weakness. Food is forever."

To the nearest eatery!
You and Hannah head to the dining court. It's mostly closed, but there are a few stations with things like coffee and assorted snacky foods intended for officers or heroes with insomnia or nighttime duty.

(Also, we have a significant lack of Dwarves in our party.  As in, none of them so far.)
If you let me in, I'd change my character to a dwarven rogue/wizard.

15719
((How well you had recovered.))

Hm...nothing much to note. (Also, which room?)
