After Weirdsound, we are not accepting any more players
Which side of Weirdsound do I fall on?

((The heat radiating goes up. The exact temperature of the air around her depends on the surrounding air temperature.
And I'd cap it at 4000-5000 for the moment.))

15753
"...Is that a proposition?"

With alot going on, you decide to spend a day seeking advise. Your first visit is to the embassy where you look into getting some proper combat training for Koro. Asking around for a bit you find three of the guards who are willing to train the kid - for a price of course.
-Turgh was an amateur wrestler back before he joined the guard. He suspects a half Kracken would be a natural wrestler, and offers to train him for free if you agree to someday allow Koro to travel to his home fortress to compete in a few grappling tournaments to win glory for his mentor.
-Fourghdul is a higher ranking guardsman would be willing to train the boy in the classical dwarven military arts of heavy armor, shield use, axes, and maces. He would expect payment in the form of a silver coin for each day of training rendered.
-A dwarf named Hidel pulls you aside when it comes out that you are looking for a mentor for Koro. She whispers into your ear that she would be more than willing to teach him Fire Magic and Necromancy, but that she is afraid Killman might hurt her if she does so. For her to offer her services, she would have to lay a curse on you that would strike you dead should the sorceress find out what is up.
Turgh's price sounds fair, and the training pretty useful.
Unless Koro learns quickly, Turgh's price is a bit steep. Besides, heavy armor and the rest is not only expensive, but virtually the opposite of the Wildbloods' fighting style; Koro would have to unlearn stuff to learn from the Wildbloods.
Hidel's offer is nice, but that curse could easily strike us dead for things not at all under our control. (Weirdsound probably wouldn't do that, but Leona doesn't know that.)

One of the smiths however does comment that he can't identify the metal they are made from, and suspects they were casted into existence by a god or powerful mage. Since they are rare, he offers to buy them from you on the spot for 150 Silver. You promise to consider the offer.
"Yes, I'll definitely give these priceless magical coins away for a fistfull of silver." I'm going to go with no, actually.
Even moreso when I hear Jung's description. As for the offer...I dunno. It sounds...suspicious. I fear that if we take too many favors from Jung, we will lose...something major.

You ask you everybody really worships. Linda considers the question. "My sister wives and I pray to Quetzal, Asper, and Shaka, gods from the far south. We figure that a god from the tropics is more likely to intercede on the matter of Pelii's health."
Interesting. These Rage Spirits don't sound so pleasant.

"Alred is a dabbling and chronic polygamist. He brings back a new god or two from  each trip south he makes, worships them intensely, and forgets all about them within weeks."
For some reason, this cracked me up. Shouldn't it be "polytheist," though?

He pauses in consideration. "I'd say the best bet is to just diffuse the situation by getting somebody else to help Maylin."
Travon pauses and a sadistic smirk spreads across his face. "If you can get me another two or three men to help me, I'd lead the party. I'm curious as to what a Warg would look like shot up or exploded. The help don't need to be strong or skilled. The greatest secret is that guns are actually easy to use and kill with; Hell, I bet I could have you shooting well enough to pick off a Warg or two if you wanted to risk it. Alred would be quite amused if you did some heroing yourself..."
I like this idea.

Don't sell the tokens then. Keep them for a rainy day.
As noted above, +1.

Before learning with steel, leran with fists; have koro take the wrestling classes. No other classes for now, and never the one we'd get a curse unles we could break it ourselves.
My logic process is slightly different, but +1.

See if we can rustle up a few men (and go ourselves) to kill the wargs. Solves the problem, the girl is extra grateful to us. Worst comes to worst, we're monstrous - we should do fine.
I don't like the tone of that last sentence...but as noted, I agree, +1.

((and I gotta go sorry, stayed awake till 5AM, been a long time since i did that))
((Night. Try not to stay up so late. Staying up to midnight tends to leave me semi-functional much of the next day, unless I find time and place for a nap.))
((...Although place is surprisingly easy. "The hallway outside my next class" seems to be my commonest napping spot.))

"Oh...um..."
Nuriel takes over and kisses Selina.
"Better?"
"EEP!" Selina wasn't expecting it and was a little stunned for a moment, but has relaxed quite a bit now.

"Y-y-yes... er.. th-thanks..." Selina blushed and then hugged Nuriel. (1000)

"Great...whenever you're feeling lusty at Angel, let me know and I'll see if I can fix it, okay?"

15756
((Hecate is secretly crying.))
((Over Lyle?!? ...Tears of joy, maybe.))

15757
((dammit haha is it at least a really smooth plastic surface? Can he use it as a kind of mirror.))
((No.))

Kevin ponders what foods would make a food fight more unpleasant for anyone involved....
-snip-
Sadly, the closest available to any of those is...let's see. Grapes, a bit of chilli, some kind of cupcake with a gumdrop in it, cheese, apples, and a couple of normal-ice-cube dispensers. Oh, and sausage, but none which could be a chain substitute.

Sliver smiles a bit at Selina.
"Glad you've found a friend, Selina. That should make everything else easier."

15758
That would work, IF it was actual liquid silver and IF the werewolf was not just "Dog Human" or something.

If you have all the same class (or at least all the same hit die), you can simply double to hit die's size, add one, and then add triple your Constitution modifier (minimum 3).

It seems to me more like a death sentence in all but name. I'd imagine "Banished" looks nicer to the populace than "Fed to crocs."
Pretty much, yeah.

15761
((does the food court use metal trays or plastic trays?))
((Plastic.))
Kevin notes Blaster leaving the dining area.

"...Well, I suppose we could always try the obvious solution. Blaster? You heard Delph. Grab one of your spare T-shirts and a medkit."
"But she'll bleed on--"
"No, she won't. Now go, m'kay?"

15762
"Oh...um..."
Nuriel takes over and kisses Selina.
"Better?"

15763
...Zergs...end up allying with us against suddenly Necrons...
((Come on. Everyone knows zergs never attack worlds with Necrons on them.))

((And Emp, what's your obsession with wooden furniture and steak?))
((Tyranids, not zergs.

Although a Tyranid vs Zerg battle would be interesting.))
((Zergs more or less ripped off the 'Nids. In fact, they were originally going to be Tyranids, until they couldn't get the WH40k licensing.))

Anyways, I've got a slightly completed character sheet. The idea is that he is some sort of criminal mage, probably largely involving enchantments but certainly with illusions and such, who was sent to the River for his sentence. I'm still working on specifics.
That would raise the question of why he was sent without any guards or things to stop him simply legging it.
Secondary function of you guys. More importantly, "simply legging it" is a good path to becoming fish food.

"Well, Nimue has been mistaken for you and is currently at your mother's house, who you don't remember from the amnesia. To get her back, we have to go to Northsdale, your hometown, and patch things up with your mother while curing the amnesia."
"Oh...okay. That sounds good."

Selina slowly wakes up and looks at Angel hugging her. She stiffens (20!) holding back the urge to try something. She just sits there, trying to remain calm. (-250)
Angel lets go. "I'm glad you're up...are you okay, though?"
