Slight problem with that. Oric told Proxxy to refrain from touching others' soul stars; what makes you guys think she would go against Oric?
Maybe she had Cherish do it?
But we just need to wait for Cherish's answer and/or freeform confirming/denying this theory next update or so.

(It's like Magneto powers, basically. You can't fuck with the electromagnentic spectrum or shit.)
((Neat.
Magneto has used his powers to fly multiple times, and to throw boulders around at least once. So apparently, magnetic amps can mess with para- and diamagnetic stuff.))

[Grate wi]ll probably kill Feyri at some point.))

((When do speech rolls become useful in a way that you can explain something without swearing like a drunken sailor?!))
((When you roll well. So, never.))
((Or maybe a decomp would help?))

...[So I'll just follow what Lenglon said :/]
Patrol with Grate. Speech roll - try to philosophize.
Patrol the ship and all that stuff. Check the labs because I remember Grate wanted to do something there.

{speech:6+1]
You turn to grate.
"We're fucked kid, Fucking fucked. You don't get it, you don't even have the short and curly's  yet, the endless brutality of the world hasn't crushed your spirit. I'm a brain in a tin shell, my boy, my significant other is a psychic toddler in a body made of something we don't understand. And you, the emotional proxy for a child I can no longer have, are basically completely worthless in a fight. It's only a matter of time till you step on a land mine or catch a rocket to the face. And then I'm just gonna lose it. I'm already halfway there."
You start shaking him by the shoulders.
"I RODE A CORPSE GRATE, I RODE IT GOOD! I want to be helpful but people just keep dying! And I keep dying. I'VE DIED MORE TIMES THEN JIM'S GOT TO SECOND BASE!"
You stare into his eyes.
"There's nothing there, kid. It's just black. An eternity of nothing. Can you imagine it? Can you imagine a dark that big? It's a dark older then the universe. Older then God. And it wants us, boy, it wants us."
Grate just stares back.
Try not to break down and cry in the middle of the mission, I guess.
Quote from: Grate -> Everyone Except Feyri
Something's weird with Miss Feyri, but I don't think it's mind control. It's too obvious. Either that, or it's mind control trying to get us to think it's not mind control.

I'll be a Scout with the Force-A-Nature, Bonk!, and the Sandman if you don't mind.

Alright.

And, again, why could Koro not be a sorcerer if he was a thief?
GWG, please stop suggesting things if you aren't going to actually read the updates first.
I'd appreciate if you'd explain yourself.
Firstly, that is a valid question. In what way does Discord having Koro taught thievery by the magician's guild prevent Koro from being tutored in the ways of sorcery?
Secondly, those updates are long. There is a LOT of detail, and if I'm focused on things more directly related to the issues we worried about before it's easy to miss something.
Thirdly, I've been going by with consistently an hour or two less sleep than I probably should, which means that I need to focus my finite focus on school stuff and not Bay12w233eeeee

* Express interest in Disgrace's offer, and ask her to help us learn to read. If she feels like we look up to her, that makes her feel good and gives her incentive to not cause problems for Koro. We want to learn to read anyway, and having two tutors will help us learn faster. Plus, mage guild contacts are not a bad thing. Also, the more time we spend with her, the less time she's spending alone with Koro and the more likely we are to find out what's going on.
-1, mostly. We really don't want to be indebted to her, which asking her for tutoring will do. We also don't want to get involved in the Disgrace/Killman feud, and I suspect both of them would take us getting Disgrace as a tutor to be getting involved. Plus, that would basically tell Koro "go for it, even your whiny mother approves of her now." Express tentative interest in her offer, but mention that we're still readjusting to being in town blah blah blah stuff might come up.

"So you aspire to be more than just some dumb hick damsel in distress? Good for you. Never would have guessed it."
Yes. Yes, we do. Perhaps you should aspire to be something other than a criminal with no idea of how to speak to people without insulting them?
Note: That was OOC.
Then maybe we should stop acting like one.
Mind explaining how we have been acting like one?

Keep at the salvaging. Yes, we want those mermen disposed of. Yes, we want the safe cracked, although I prefer that he whip up some acid to dissolve the lock. All this landlubberly shit is pointless when we are clearly habituated to the watery depths. To say nothing of our son. You want to solve his many problems? Here's how. You get him busy doing things you both like. Until his associates in the wizard guild focus on memorising various waterbreathing and free movement spells, we have him all to ourselves when we're underwater. The many problems all sort themselves out when he is too preoccupied to get into trouble on shore with dodgy landlubbers.
I don't think we should dispose of the mermen just yet, and we definitely don't want to open the safe till we can get it out of the water first (it would really suck to open it up, find out the contents are very valuable, then have them ruined by water). Otherwise, tentative +1. The problem is, we have a number of things we need to take care of on land as well...
Yes, because the perfect solution to our son (who has been completely outside of normal society all his life except these past few weeks) having friends we disapprove of is to make sure that he doesn't spend time with the friends we approve of either, while working him in the day and doing nothing to stop him from heading out at night.
The underwater stuff is a hobby. It might be a paying hobby, but it's low-priority.

So we're kind of annoyed that the guy who apparently isn't even reading updates is sabotaging the game.
I'm not "sabotaging the game," and I am reading updates. I merely lack total recall of every word in every update.
And if my suggestions that no one likes are being picked, that either indicates that the GM screwed up or that he didn't see any other plan from anyone else. It is not my fault, do not blame it on me!

Meme smiled and then huggled Stella a little before getting down with Will.
Will helped Meme down, but did not get off of Stella. He did, however, put his belt back on.

AMGel mind-hugs MG!Selina during her breakdown.

One Crash Site Robot: Grab Emag Pistol.
Other Crash Site Robot: Continue looking for means of entrance.

I found it again, though.
What is that?

Edit4: Found 56, still no 52
So it goes past 55...probably not past 60-70, though.
And it would be just like ffs to "forget" to add a Tip 52 and make us waste all our time trying to find it.

You are correct. Check spirit format thing. I wonder what it'll do? I assume it would allow us to change the nature of the spirits we summon. Or perhaps the very nature of a Spirit Duel itself? Maybe we can make a duel's aesthetics similar to that of a standard floor, with us venturing through a spirit dungeon?

So wait Proxxy charged teleporting pads using a soul star. You know at that time she had our soulstar, and it think it matches with us being hurt.
...Well then.
Think we solved the bleeding thing?

((I know both, I was just doing my best to answer the anti-energy question. Which is kinda pathetic, since my understanding of theoretical physics is unusually biased to what I could someday turn into a science-fiction thing.))

((Although...I wonder if negative energy has been proven/harvested in the ERverse.))

16510
((There's negative energy. About all I know about it is that in the form of matter it has negative mass and weight, and that about a Jupiter of it could hold a wormhole open.))

((... Am I supposed to RP now? You're not giving me anything to work with.))
((You could enter the building and describe what you're working on?))

((...Maybe trying to keep everyone at the same time is doomed to failure.))

Elena not Tabitha for the Delphinium.
((D'oh.))

((If there aren't anti-neutrons, what holds antimatter nuclei together?))

16513
((Alright, what happens when a positive electron shell meets a negative one? Let's say helium, for as low of a reactivity and as high of a simplicity as possible. They would presumably be attracted to each other, as would the nuclei, so they would intersect until they occupied the same space. What then?))

((...And what is an anti-neutron?))

Matthew and Selina meet in a park by chance. After Matthew purposefully trips in front of Selina, they talk. Selina backs off; Matthew takes his cue and leaves.

Tabitha glares at the stoplight. Soon enough, it changes, and a few minutes later she reaches her workshop.

Steven is hiding in the sewers. He doesn't get hungry much anymore, and thirst is usually dealt with by absorbing water from ground he passes through, but he still feels boredom and fear.

Fear is strong today. Toronto's sewers have been augmented and altered by a gang known as the Rats, composed primarily of warped parahumans and lead by the strangely-creatively-named Kiln, who combines terra- and pyrokinesis. The Rats could be coming by any minute...did he just hear something?

Elena puts on most of her costume, becoming Delphinium. She will be going on patrol with Sliver at one, but that leaves time to get lunch and perhaps mess around in the Wards HQ before then.

Kevin bangs on a vending machine, trying to get a snack. He is unsuccessful for a bit, then he finally frees it.

Apologize to Cherish, explaining that Goom-Bess just happens to have a lot more specialized knowledge than Cherish. Emphasize her talents as well. Try to be less, you know, unlikable than normal.

Ask Cherish how Proxxy charged the rooms up.
