2. What power inflation? You can buy a mass manipulation psy-amp for less, and the mass-murdering qualities of the 3-token microwave manipulator are well known. Being able to tear out someone's bodily fluids is just creative use of power.))
((Ah, right. I keep forgetting that everything is overpowered.
Still, considering that most materials are dia-, para-, or ferromagnetic...well, it kinda cheapens the mass manipulator, doncha think?))

((1. Magnetic spectrum?

2. I was thinking "ferromagnetic materials". Because if you could manipulate dia- or paramagnetic materials as well...well, that would just be a case of power inflation. Care to rip out someone's bodily fluids?))

"Worth a shot, I guess."

((The guy is the doll, right?))
((He was the doll. Now he's a life-sized shouty grey man.))
((Well, yes.))

"Hello there. How are you?"

16596
((...Remind me to see if I can get a LESHO rifle.))
((18 tokens in the armory.))
((Um...))

((Or capture the Shadow Walker alive. Good luck!))
((Strangely, this seems more practical for the short term.))

((PW for clarification does the magnietic feild manipulator only affect magnetic feilds or electromagnectic feilds / force?))
((It sounds like ferrokinesis.))

You must now decide which spell you want to learn next. Koro can help you master Repel Vermin, Mend Clothes, or Dispel Wrath. You suspect your sisters-in-law would be willing to help you learn some of the more adult spells. You suspect the Jeweler Jung would also be able to assist you, but you fear such lessons may send him the wrong message...
Yeah, not Jung.
Hm...Well, I'd go with "Bond with Koro over Dispel Wrath."

You comment to Koro that you have been smelling strange stuff from his room, and he gives you a look and gets a bit angry. It turns out he hadn't smoked any of his stuff yet, so he quickly deduces that you went through his room.
Well...this could have been handled much worse, and we had to risk it.

As you have been led to expect, you find the guild to be a blurred mix of mages, scholars, and ner-do-wells. Although they do a fair amount of legitimate magical work (mostly exporting artifacts and translating magical text from Northern to Imperial) the bulk of their business is in drugs.
Definitely something you want to hear about the people your son has been spending time with.

"So you aspire to be more than just some dumb hick damsel in distress? Good for you. Never would have guessed it."
Yes. Yes, we do. Perhaps you should aspire to be something other than a criminal with no idea of how to speak to people without insulting them?
Note: That was OOC.

Your father always said that Autumn was the god's greatest mercy.
Do you mean gods'? I thought that this place was polytheistic, but I could be remembering wrong.

I'm thinking that continuing to hone our reading ability should be a priority. Our tutor won't be around forever, and learning how to read provides potential for advancement in various things.

Also, why not head to that party? It can't hurt to be a small part of dwarven society, and slowly ingratiate ourselves with the people of the embassy.

This is a little more frivolous, and if anyone disagrees i'll drop it, but how about we send a message to our husband with the ring?
Maybe "Longing", i think that should communicate that we miss him effectively.
+1
That all sounds good.

"Why is there so much recent hostility to my program? It's a mere algorithm, trying to argue with it probably isn't the best idea, especially considering that software doesn't magically cease to exist just because the computer one copy is installed on is rendered inoperable..."
"It is, however, a very rude algorithm. You might want to document your code better, by the way. I tried to make a copy that didn't have the errors or rudeness, but could barely tell where the interface code was."
"I don't leave commercial program source codes lying around. Are you sure that's the actual source code of the program? Because unless you somehow found a way to take it out of the executable file, I don't see how you could access it. Also, the program was error free and documented perfectly, the roll was a natural one hundred after all."
"'If it was so well-documented, where is the code that makes it into a rude machine and makes it horrible at predicting anything useful?"

The program enters it...

....and morphs into a human girl. She looks quite a lot like Cyrielle, but with silver hair. She also seems a lot more cheerier.

She also seems to be wearing an outfit similar to Cyrielle's.
"I'm alive :D "
"...I can honestly say I've never had a chance to shake hands with a computer program I have insulted, but that is mostly because such a thing is utterly absurd."

DarnosXAlice: If you enjoy mind games.
Will groans. Now he'd have to listen to "shipping" whenever it felt like it.

Emotional Enhancer
If we got this as an enemy, would it cause large numbers of angry monsters to charge us?
Or it could be another Cherish.

Cherish the amoral serial killer who can sense people via their emotions and manipulate said emotions, not Cherish the white apprentice who adventures with Ciro and has been traumatized in other ways as well.

Speed Edit: Also, I feel bad for anybody trying to just read through all the turns. They'll have to go through so many derails.
Maybe you should feel bad for the guy trying to run this mess.
I do. I've run games this insanely overcrowded before. And I only had to deal with an assortment of superheroes...and it wasn't illustrated.

16602
...less overcomplicated so people can actually run it.
Yes.
Yes, it would.

16603
Maybe something like You Are Islanders, but less overcomplicated so people can actually run it.
I clicked your link and tried to figure out what it was, let alone how to play it, and couldn't.

So yes, it needs simpler rules.
Here's how I remember it:

1. Create a bunch of stranded islander folks.
2. Give them orders.
3. Watch as they do all sorts of stuff, with varying degrees of success, failure, and awesome. (Say, the one guy getting a tame baby T. rex!)
4. Be sad when the GM gives up due to sheer complexity of the game.
