Until now, I was unaware that Transparent was available; I used beige instead, which is visible if somebody uses Darkling.

I used white on the forum games section, because of the different background, but you could still see it. But I use Darkling now, so it's moot.

I found that white was slightly more visible every other post, whereas beige was pretty much fine.

this does not work if you're using that silly non-darkling theme, which is bad. that, or you're not logged in, one or the other really

It works perfectly well on my non-Darkling theme. And you can just highlight the text, you know.

He probably means that it's not really all that important that the heroes actually are good, have not committed felonies and stand for truth, justice and the American way. Yeah, but Scapheap's character killed a child molester while fighting  crime. And if an investigative journalist finds dirt on a hero, it could destroy the program.

In the Wormverse, a teenager who killed I believe multiple people and did not dampen down much on her sociopathic tendencies was allowed into the Wards (basically, the junior superhero team) on probation. Among other PR disasters, like

((Unconventional covers all non-deathtube weapons. So, pretty much anything that isn't a firearm. Knives to explosives to manipulators. So it may use Unconwep or Conwep, but the main problem is that monowire has to be both vibrating and taut between two points. So you could take a normal shuriken, stretch monowire between the points and make it vibrate, but it wouldn't be any more practical or deadly than the original shuriken.))
