Mad humanities professors? There's another kind?
Why do Space Elves lack "Squishy Body"?

Grawagul, Dragon Biologist
Goal: Create a new sentient species from as close to scratch as possible.

Iunno. I assume we want to do the US.
The only person before you to express an opinion (not counting those requesting specifically LA) was wolfchild, who specifically requested elsewhere.

Minneapolis?
I don't think I've seen any superhero stories set in the Twin Cities...

((I think it would be annoying for the villain having a small afterlife attempting to help them :P Though I was considering having a side-effect of his powers to be that whoever kills their current holder gains it, so the purgatory continues until the current holder dies from accidental or natural causes, or suicide.))
The villain in question already has that, and that's how their power works.
I was referring to Glaistig, not Butcher.
Hm...maybe Glaistig should [spoilers] and kill the current Butcher so we can have one of the most OP capes ever. Then, have a certain enforcer kill Glaistig.

You lucky duck Scrood.  Though I do have to plead that you choose power resistance instead of power nullification.
Potentially serious spoilers
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
If you are taking nullification alongside what you already have and two other powers, it may be a bit gamebreaking.
I don't think Hatchet Face is much of a spoiler. Anyways, neither the power resistance thing nor the Brute powers are on Hatchet's level. At best, his character is like Hack Job sans body horror or teleportation. And he needs blood to work with.
He's a great Trump, mind you, and would fit right into the S9 with the right trauma, but he's potentially powerful for other reasons.

>Not voting for America

It's like you guys don't even want to ever meet me.

Newsflash, I work with the PRT. They only work in America and Canada.
There's probably a PRT-like organization in Australia.
...Good point, though.

So. Toronto? Works for me.

((GWG, dispell dat ice.))
"Dispel. Ice. Now."
((Yo GWG, you might wanna have Angel dispel the ice in Isaac's gut.))
((By "dispel" do you mean "melt"? Because I can do that. I'm 90% sure that the ice can't be dispelled any more than the burns from a fireball, though.))

"No... just fuck, man...."
Will snickers.
"That's not a painkiller, but if we can get Medea I'm sure it can be arranged."

Stella goes to fetch an electric blanket, kissing will as she passes him
Will kisses back.

"Right before an assault mission? Do I look like a drug dealer to you?"
"Says the man contemplating giving heroin to a student..."

Well, from ours that's Me, Will, Lucas and Izzy, everyone else seems missing. So my vote is for Will
"Thank you, Stella. For the same reasons as you, I vote for myself."
Let's say that the Angels have gotten down by now. They vote for their Selinas.

"I guess we should get ready for tomorrow... Selina... if my shell dies... please cremate it and scatter the ashes as thinly as possible. I want no trace that I ever walked this world except in the hearts and minds of the people I've met..."
The Angels decide that Victoria needs a hug. They hug her.

"It's settled. Anima will lead, probably from behind. She happens to be the squishiest."
The Angels glance at each other.
"Not that kind of squishy. Related: Could we folks from the Selina-deprived universe get some of those communication bracelets?"

All the RotMG characters who were in the last couple of battles (all of them) gain 20 points to allocate because that's how we do it over there.
Noted. Where's the thread?

"er... d-d-do you think i've... i've b-b-been a good mom...?" Selina feels embarrassed for asking.
"I'm sure you have been! Cyrielle's always happy, and you're really nice and stuff!"

((I am annoyed at KJ being missing more than ever now, the SA characters are stagnant right now stats wise, SA!Stella has had some growth, but that's just been me easing her limitations as she works things our, limitations by the way that I but there in the first place))
((Ayup. Shall we assign a new GM to give out bonus stat points?))

Quote
Stella gets coffee for everyone still awake
Here, I brought milk, and sugar too for anyone who needs it *yawn* having trouble keeping my eyes open SA!Stella sits down next to Will
"Thank you very much, Stella." Will cautiously puts an arm around Stella.

"Good point @Wolfchild, the thread's opening post currently indicates zero in every stat for every character. Doubtlessly it is an issue for them. I propose the following, if @KJ shows no sign of activity before the next combat encounter that @Elf runs, then each character from this thread will choose one of the two other RPGs they wish to be transported to and gain the average stat total of that RPG's associated characters to distribute. They will then henceforth operate on that RPG's stat system and be assigned that RPG's world to reside in afterwards, indefinitely until @KJ becomes active once more"
*smack*
"Well, as long as we're breaking the Fourth Wall, I'd suggest the RotMG-verse. No supervillains terrorizing anyone, no standards of superheroics to live up to. Just...life."

-snip-
((I'm sorry to hear that your Enter key is broken.))

SA!Stella starts to nod off, unable to keep her eyes open, and starts leaning on Will without realizing it. She is mostly asleep, but is awake enough to be guided without needing to be carried. The moment her head his a pillow though it's gonna be lights out.
Will keeps ahold of her.

At some point we really need to work on a wall/palisade. Can't be too careful.
We're doing a ditch already. It's the best we can do with out current resources. Can't make concrete till we get more bots working on it.

Unless we reduce the search party to 2 bots (as I proposed) and keep the other 2 in camp.

Spoiler: Action Proposal (click to show/hide)
Sounds like a plan. And yeah, concrete will be easier and stronger than wood.

Colonization: In order, Expert/Skilled/Unskilled. Probably the Unskilled.

Build: Build a Laboratory. And a large trebuchet for retaliating at Dariush. (Oh Space-God, there's going to be a war now isn't there?)

Production: +1 Wealth, Farms (+2 Food), Harvester (+1 BRR), Colonial Center (+1 VP)

17301
Find way out of cave, just keep crawling everywhere till an exit wall is found.
Then turn left and repeat.

17302
I changed my  vote!

17303
1. Wow, look at all the cool items. Rock rocket launcher, rasorwire/plastic bow with eeevil arrows, candy cane of carnage, talking fire...did derm actually roll a robe?

2. What's that black thing in the middle of the map? A hole?

17304
((Anybody else finds it hilarious that the waitlist has been moving very quickly for the last few months, but has completely ground to a halt ever since Derm arrived? I mean seriously, we've had exactly zero deaths from player action, and the two that we did have, were both from inactivity.
All hail Derm, avatar of peace!))
((It's almost like he was accused of being an avatar of omnicide before spawn and wanted to avoid that reputation by not killing or threatening anyo--))

Well, see, this is what we call a setup for something called a multikill.
((Dammit derm, I'm trying to help you!))

Then we have several people fighting with Urist. And not a single person actually fighting against another player.
((Also people fighting with a guy summoned to fight Urist. And I think that one guy, the man with the painfully failed golden rocket punch, was trying to attack Urist.))

Quote
It's like we reached a critical mass of nice people who want to do Science. I know that it's got nothing to do with Derm, but, well, he isn't killing anyone for now either, and it's still hilarious that that critical mass coincided with his reappearance.))
((Whoo! Science!))

17305
((Oh crap. I just realized AM gave me bottle rockets, and I thought all this time I had firecrackers. So unless they're a smaller, cooler future version of bottle rockets, I've been walking around with a double-bandolier of PET bottles filled with vinegar and bicarb.))
((Er... I believe PW was referring to these bottle rockets. I've never heard of a vinegar and bicarb rocket referred to as a "bottle rocket".))
((Actually, you have, here:))

Cheers. That makes much more sense.
My ignorance for living in a fireworks-restricted state.
((You're not missing much. Just some annual aerial explosions and perhaps the occasional pyrotechnic waste of time.))

17306
((The suggested power thing.))
Ah. Yeah, it's hard to design a trigger event for that. As it happens, replace "advice and information" with "powers" and you have the power of one of the more infamous villains of the Wormverse.

Spoiler: Scrood (click to show/hide)
Alright. I've finally finished these things! Tomorrow I intend to flesh out the world, and Saturday perhaps we can start.

Would someone mind trying to find any consensus on when and where to set the game? I don't remember any forming, and I should get to bed almost two hours ago, given my cold and how frikkin' late I stayed up last night.

~Retcon~
The bull breaks through it before it reaches Arthur. [20+24] Isaac is impaled in the stomach by ice.
"STOP WITH THE ICE!"
"Sorry!"

Stella curls up the tip of her tail, then sings it, and spins her entire body. Sending her tail careening at the bull, {Raw roll no idea what modifiers to use 67} If it hits, it will hit with the might of her entire body
"Oh dear..."
What's wrong

SA!Stella hangs back a bit, trying to keep herself between Will and the bull
"Stay away. It's bigger, heavier, and better-designed for use as a bludgeon than you are to resist bludgeoning. Try using your fire. You too, Angel."
"But--"
"The other Angel, sweetie. And anyone else with fire, focus it! Maybe we can increase the temperature around the bull enough to melt it somewhat! On the count of three! One! ...Two! ...Three!"
Angel blasts the bull with all her fire.

Come on, Nuriel, you're better at this...
There is no response.

"Enough. Leave it alone."

Bismuth pets the bull gently.

Camille starts singing.
((Dammit. I had a plan.))
Will approaches the bull cautiously.

17308
"Um, I'll just take a laser pistol and one of those monorazor thingies for now."

Make weapon choices. Thank the AM, then try to find Xan. If successful, point laser pistol at him. (Does this count for one of those Dynamic Bonus thingies?)

Resurrect GM by tying his life force to my own - I can just sever the link to kill him again, so as to blackmail him into making any 4s or 6s into 5s for me.
Impede Action.

The bull charges again through the ice.
((On a 152? I'd like to see a roll ro back that up.))

Will examines the situation, looking for weaknesses (hint hint).
AMGel flames the bull!
TAngel [90+82+23+11-50] puts up another wall of ice!

Well Will, we were attacked by a murder of crows, that seemed to be made of mercury
"Unusual. Apparently, these are--Wait!"
