I'd suggest getting some basic gear, a bare minimum of efficiency at medium to close range (a hand laser does wonders for one token, and a monorazor doesn't run out of ammo), getting an amp if you really feel like you could use it, and basically sticking to what your character does best. Grate's a technician by trade, IIRC - so have him be that. People aren't only useful on the front lines in the HMRC.))((What can I do to prepare for being a better technician? Not to mention one who can perform in his currently-employed field of guarding a ship from assorted genetically-engineered thingies?))
((I would insist that you do not touch either. At least not the microwave ones. If you can get a magnetic manipulator, that would be better, not to mention way more useful in technical stuff. If you can't get that, get a cutting torch instead and leave unconventional weapons alone.))((Noted.))
(I don't know if he thinks it's a bad idea so much as you actually managed to creep the Doctor out. XD)((That strikes me as indicative of a bad thing in and of itself.))
((FTFY))(That would be a first)((Hmm....I wonder if hecouldwould turnsomeoneone of the HMRC crazies into a bodysnatcher. Like just a head with tentacles for movement and it crawls up your back and attaches to your head and then you are enslaved.
That would beneatkinda terrifying.))
"Older Meme girl, blood girl also, they stay with her." Mini!Selina seemed to just be stating a fact."Same with that universe's Angel, and probably others."
"Irrelevant thus far... hmm... I wonder if this Demons Run figure would be unsealed by the Headmistress...""I would think twice before doing so..."
"Oh dear, Cyrielle is now a tsundere catgirl. Whatever am I going to do~""Ignore her. I'm ignoring it, and my power makes ignoring anything damn hard."
Or nudge the chest off the trap or something.Wait. We rolled a one and the result was that we lost a 'useless' item and gained soul charge.Probably, if we rolled better, we could either disable the trap, or gain the soulcharge without loosing the staff.
Either that roll was for something else, or that staff was infinately more valuable than we realised.
((3.01. I count the first number as the chapter, i don't read that slow))
Also.Selina would be crushed.
I feel like resetting all of my characters' romantic relationships except for RichardxCamille. I felt that most of them were too undeveloped to start in the first place, the exception being because they knew each other for a long while.
Alright, so quickly glancing over a table of average number of high school students per school per state, Elena attempted to influence about 700 people, failing miserably lets say she hit about 10% of them, 70 people with half of those being people she had already interacted with that day. Being that she was stressed at the time, her normal effect would have shorter range and be unable to influence as many people at once or as quickly. So I'm thinking, on a normal day, 12 or 13 people can have their emotional state completely rewired over about a 30 minute period at a range of 50ft within line of sight. This still feels OP, but then again mind (or body, as Regent calls his) control is always OP. Any other limits you want to place will be perfectly fine.I'd put her limit at maybe half a dozen at once under normal situations, tops, with the exact speed varying on the level of change. And, of course, more precision means you can't hit as many people.
With regards to location, just give the city some meaningful monument that can be destroyed.Heh heh.
((Mr. Masor threatened the Doc. That was the result. I also believe it was the first time The Doc showed some of his combat prowess. I forget what he went for, but I believe it was some sort of variation on becoming painless. He wanted his nervous system severed, which is stupid.))((Stupid stupid stupid.))
((My first character was incinerated in the heart of a miniature star he created by accident when he tried to use his manipulator in a way that it was not designed to be used.))((That sounds awesome. What were you trying to do?))
Two things. What did Selina do about the fact that she had multiple counts each of murder and murder with a parahuman ability, plus a count of assault with a parahuman ability, especially with a witness able to identify her? That's the kind of thing that gets you sent to jail if you're lucky.Selina was hiding out in the slums of [insert city] in total seclusion. She was terrified, broken, and wanted to die. She had no where to go, no one who would believe her... she was just another person every hero was out to get now... she wished she had the courage to kill herself, but she couldn't, wouldn't. She resigned herself to staying in a run down/destroyed building, cold, alone, and without any comfort. She would die out here... but no one would care, no one would mourn, another statistic on a wall of the lost.
I wonder if we could drown Oric that way.Probably not, but it's worth a shot.
(( Haha sweet i figured id end up with something like that. )).
[The Doctor] moves in a blur, an indistinguishable flicker white and glint of metal, and then he's holding your hand, severed at the wrist. You don't feel a thing, even though you're bleeding profusely. He takes a step forward and shoves the severed appendage into your remaining hand.((What happened there?))
