Molten metal bending inwards and falling apart because it's molten. Even partly-molten metal would be more likely to collapse than to conveniently bend to cover most of the doorway.

Maybe you should read the turn again?
Well, luckily you're not as close and this isn't as enclosed. The thing melts, along with most of the hall, and the sheer heat blast from the white hot ball of light that manifests within the strange object is enough to hurl the entire team back against the wall of the elevator and half melt the elevator doors and hallway metal, spraying them in molten steel. When it's over, the doorway out of the elevator is mostly sealed by bowing walls and slag, and half the team is entombed in cooling metal.
...Trying to figure out how that works.

Assuming people believe him. And, well, Draoi hasn't been visibly spending far less power than he's been able to.

"The downside being that, if we make them come out, they can organize themselves. Still, we may not have much of an option..."

You know, Xantalos never did spend acts last turn to make it so the other gods wouldn't know what he did.
Thus, everyone knows that the Trickster is spreading magic. And what does this imply?

1776
Come on, it was sort of obvious you were trying to play us off each other.
...
I'm better at conniving stuff when I'm not directly involved.

More that he got to take an extra turn on the turn he casts Haste. Logically, it would take effect after he finishes "casting" it, ie at the end of the turn, which as a pleasant side effect means he actually has to spend some action-economy...stuff to use it.

I watched the fourth episode of RWBY before class. I've decided that there are way too many characters with way too little focus. We didn't hear Yang's name until the third episode, and that stoic guy with, um, what's-her-name from the beginning of the episode didn't even get named. Also, the names come up rarely enough that I can't remember half of them.
Moreover...the plot is off. I agree with Ruby's issues with the method for choosing partners (probably) and with Jean's concerns about how they're being sent in.

She is slightly vain (slightly meaning she likes to show off her awesome fashion and will order cannon fire on those who tell her it's bad) and enjoys drinking. Especially around people who don't know about her condition since it makes them act funny.
...
Interesting.

Miku cosplay.
See, this is why you don't ask random internet weirdoes for advice.
My advice, as a less weird person, is to ask people you know IRL. Ones who care about your well-being.
Good luck.

You hate him because he's religious? That's kind of harsh, GWG.
Religious is fine. Calling people who follow other religions "heathens" indicates that he's religious in an entirely un-fine way.

EDIT: More RWBY commentary. A gun that turns into a javelin seems almost as stupid and irresponsible as throwing it at someone. Ruby pairing up with Wyss was painfully easy to see coming. Ruby suddenly has super-speed and is murderously--okay, manslaughterously--irresponsible.

((He may want to get an excuse for the eldritch rifle, or get Cyrielle to collapse it, but the scope is undeniably magic and Cyrielle can't actually conceal it since it's something Selina made.))
Will left the rifle at home. I evidently didn't mention that, so...here it is.

Spoiler: Willborn Cain (click to show/hide)
...
Alright. I think we may need to re-theorycraft what Willborn are.
Also, I'm sad we didn't get to see flashback-Cherish.

(since I assume siblings won't turn into monster-type Illborn, but will be like the Underside Citizens and retain their natural form)
Riltia.

I really hope his time spells don't work the way they did in my short-lived parody game, in that case, he should get 2 turns for every one we get.

...not like I'm pointing that out to make this harder for the rest of you guys or anything.
...

Well, since he already has moved twice...
Which makes no sense, either from a game-design or from an in-universe perspective, but eh.

Remind me, how has the Thunderbird not taken a scratch?
Because nobody has fired on it yet.
And why is that?
They were focused on petty revenge rather than long-term strategy.
*sigh* I actually had a plan. A decent plan, good enough to (probably) work, vague enough to be flexible. Then I was killed when my allies turned on me.
Or until you rammed me, bringing the ball of fury and wrath that is mastahcheese upon yourself.
I only rammed you because I set up an alliance with the others first! You responded too slowly!

There are three mages and a wood golem stuck in a room with a ancient fire element construct.
Hm. I don't think the wood elemental's going to have a good time.

Attempt to pacify the fire elemental by singing "We Didn't Start the Fire".
That sounds like a hilarious action.

"Indeed. A surgical strike would be ideal. One issue with that plan, however, is that we do not know which building the guards are garrisoned in."

Should we all get free, we should have a cutting laser from the pod left- use it to cut into the hallway again.
Wait, why do we need to cut into the hallway? What happened to the open elevator door?
Where do you think all the molten metal came from?
Why do we need to cut through molten metal? It seems like it would be pooling on the floor.

"HOW DARE YOU ARGUE WITH ME? I CHALLENGE YOU TO A FISTFIGHT! TO THE PAIN!"

CHALLENGE SENT! DRINK MY BEER IN PREPARATION!
YOU DARE CHALLENGE ME TO A FISTFIGHT?! HOW DARE YOU! BLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBBBLBB!

Flubber through the crowd toward this skinny-ass poser and fist slap him into submission!
He is followed by another massive man.
"BLUE TEAM BLUE TEAM BLUE TEAM!"

Also, impressions so far?
It's like a cross between Survivor and Paranoia.
