Part of it was him calling me a sociopath and stuff like that. I got warnings for discussing it before, though, so I'll let someone else handle it.

He does the square thing with his fingers and adjusts the painting, then smiles and leaves his room, AGAIN SHUTTING THE DOOR.

...leaving his guests in his room. Unattended. Including Darnos.

Victoria collapses, too consumed by self loathing to even shed tears.

Angel is concerned.

She listens to the conversation, then hugs Victoria.

Darnos has been hanging out in the corner for a while.
Knew it was too good to be true. Angels of death don't just casually fall in love, so it must've been a delusion. This'll be fun to watch.

Angel raises a hand and [78+75+11+27] blasts Darnos away with a gush of water.
"You stink. Go away."

Hecate appears! She seems sterner than usual.
"Professor Nikki sent me to find you all. You are late for her lesson, so what's going on here?"

"Victoria thinks she was trying to torture Selina. We're trying to make her feel better."

"I always cause so much trouble for you... I'm amazed that you could even continue to love me... I'm sorry for everything I did and everything I didn't..." Victoria slowly gets up and lightly kisses Selina.

Angel stops hugging Victoria.

That said, Victoria, I don't recommend attempting to carry out schemes like this if you lack the resolve to carry them out, you spineless twit.
He nonchalantly walks out.

Angel runs after Darnos to kick him in the shin.
"So what? If you're not a mean evil jerk like you, you are worthless? What kind of world would that be, full of people just like you? A terrible one! So stop being mean, and definitely stop asking other people to be mean."

Angel goes to class, fuming.

The severe-looking man quickly approaches the young boy, his hands clasped behind his back. He stops abruptly, stooping until his face is but inches from the young boy's. He stares at him for a full second, stroking his chin, then turns and strides away. He calls back without turning and his voice carries throughout the cavernous library. You will come with me boy.

"Why? And where? And how long?"
Alex resists as well as he can.

Dran steps toward the brewing confrontation, hands raised.
All we're doing is seeing if he can translate some runes for us. That's all.

"How long will this take?"

Because, Bith, I and many of the people here have been wondering what's up on those islands of yours for years now. We occasionally find some crashed ones, full of magical artifacts and such, but they're empty. Abandoned. You represent a chance for us to get up there.
He leaned closer, still holding onto her arm.
