"Come on, it'd be hot!"
Quote Angel may have said if she was there: "But it's already a sauna, how much hotter could it be?"

Not sure if trolling.
Well, I'm not serious...

Oh, and where's Nikki? I'm a bit worried about Selina and Victoria's future daughters if the first thing they do with their adopted kid is abandon her to play in the hot tub...

20522
Yes. Likely he desired Medea and now has a reduced sense of self worth due to not obtaining her.
"And Medea loves Kyle, and I think Kyle loves Isaac. It's making Kyle a lot less happy and Medea less happy, too. Do you know what that means?"

20523
"What? How does that even work?"
"I don't know! Rhad went into the TV before he answered!"

Yuri's brow furrows, as she sees something... Bad. Something rather worse than her issues. Instantly, her normal demeanor is back. She eases Selina off of herself and makes a beeline to the living room, where her television had just eaten Kyle. She pokes the screen to see what's up with that.
Angel follows.
"Don't touch the screen. Kyle did that and he got sucked in."

Just clarifying but is my appearance more or less the same as I described despite being an ascendant?
Well, your history is now completely wrong, since you were just now made from a conglomeration of...let's say 21 standard merfolk, and 14 magfolk.  You likely would have wound up as a blue and green scaled...entity with the combined knowledge of the 35 merfolk.  It's form would probably be strange, considering this is the first time something like this would have been done, but if I had to guess, I would say a form that maintains all of the body parts of the merfolk, while maintaining a vaugly merfolk shape, just with too many {Insert blank body parts}, likely not within a standard humanoid body parts positions (ie. one of the heads could be linked to one of the elbows).
Or to put it simply a merfolk-shaped blue and green variant of Xantalos's avatar.
I imagined it as though the merfolk had sort of merged into a big wormy thing, most of the biomass, organs, and stuff absorbed into the main body but with assorted limbs and faces sticking out, repurposed into fins and sensory organs, with a big mouth at one end for eating, probably lined with forearms or femurs for teeth. And when it needs to speak, it growls from the mouth while all the faces speak more or less in unison.

Random Fact:  Due to the following quote, I now read Tantiy's lines with PewDiePie's voice.

MutOrb, what is it that you are doing?
...What.

Kyle walks over to a TV and holds his hand in front of it.
Now what.
"...What's going on?"

<Hellfire. It does work!>
Richard runs to pull him back.
((Roll strength save to not be pulled in. DC 35 required.))
"Um."

Kyle gets pulled into the television.

Richard and Marie round the corner to see his feet disappear.
"Oh shit."
"...Rhad, what did you do with Kyle?...And why didn't you do it to the Layar? I mean, if you could get a bunch sucked into TVs and computers and stuff, that woulda been really useful."

Angel runs back to Selina and such. "Rhad put Kyle into the TV and then followed!"

Alright. I can't decide if I want to play Tattletale or some kind of Trump. Probably of Eidolon's variety, but the power-copying/stealing type could be neat too.

...Those of you who read Worm know what I mean.
Gotcha.
Gotcha as in you've read Worm, or gotcha as in you've looked up what those mean, or gotcha as in you've looked up what Worm is, or...

You joined shortly after the first mission. So it might be a couple weeks.
Darnit.
Also, to all; from tomorrow I'll be gone for a week. So yeah. Hope you like my scheming now, 'cause you're going to have to wait for it.
Did you hear? We're starting another mission in three days.

On a more serious note: When do classes start?

20527
What is it ... what's your name?
"I'm Angel. And it needs to be in private...away from him." Angel gestures with her tail towards Kyle, which was probably intended to be subtle.

"NOT EVERYONE IS IN A FUCKING REALTIONSHIP! I'M FUCKING NOT!"
"I don't think Isaac and Medea are doing ecchi things yet, actually."

Isaac stumbles upon everyone minus Medea.
"Oh, and him. And Medea, if she shows up."

Then everyone leaves.

"That was convenient. So, Darnos. Have you noticed that Kyle's really sad?"

5.56 is a caliber, not a measurement. To be more specific, the 5.56 is short for 5.56X45, or 5.56 NATO, who specified the caliber. Meanwhile, the 5 mm bullets are five millimeters...wide, I think.

[color=green"In terms of influence, they leave the more peaceful Kezilamites in the dust, as their messages of burning all that offends are easier to digest than a policy of meditation and self-reflection, as I'm sure you must realize."
((Now, this is Social Darwinism.))

((We don't 'talk' about the other game. ;)

...Because doing that isn't good unless said game is done. :D))
((Now I'm really intrigued...))

((Damn. Poor Feyri. Damn.
I hope someone picks up her body too so she doesn't have to go full robot.))
((She's with a smallish child who is vaguely aware of the ability of the HMRC to bring back the dead, and Lyra, who is probably even shorter. Maybe if they worked together they could bring Feyri's body back, if it wasn't stuck in her suit. Which is a Mk-III, which I think is basically MI's armor. And if not, someone really needs to explain the suits to me.))

Is she incapacitated?

I don't know shes, noLyra just ripped off Miss Feyris head11

"Miss Lyra, what are you doing? Hey, come back!"

Run after Ms. Lyra. Ideally to safety.

I'd be game for that.

And what's the difference between an animal and a critter?
Well, you marked other pages with different names.
Also, i dont really understand what you mean with I'd be game for that.
I don't have a firm nomenclature system. The page names are mostly guesses for what the words on that page are.
And I mean that this:
Ill tell you it, if you want, but you will owe me a word.
is an acceptable deal.

((Isn't it still attached?
...Also, was Grate ever briefed about that?))
((To her body, no.  To her suit, yes.  Almost certainly not.  If one of the more experienced people runs by and sees, they'd likely have the idea to grab out the head, but otherwise, hope the event doesn't come this far.))
((When did she get decapitated? Also, Lenglon: Feyri's head! Get it! Or tell Grate about it or something!))

Quote from: Xan -> All Team Members
Everyone okay? Keep moving towards the palace if you have no issues.

((Hinty hint Grate))
Quote from: Grate -> Everyone
I think something's wrong with Miss Feyri. She got hit with a big chunk of ice. She might be

((MKIII's have a decapitation mechanism to allow recovery of the user's head.))
((See, that's the sort of thing you might want to explain to new players so they have an idea of what's going on.))

Kyle waves to Angel.
"Is there anything that I should know?"
"Um...nothing really. Oh, Selina and Victoria adopted Nikki."

"I'm the one who lost two people I would have liked to be with at once."
"He's Ky...wait, two people?" Angel looks surprised, then determined. She thinks for a moment.
"Darnos! I need to talk with you!"

Education is easy to make up for later in life; I'm sure as the son of a Count we'll be in the classroom plenty. But if we develop a reputation as an aloof scholar, all the books in the world won't help our leadership and charisma, which are much more important in a leader. I'd rather play a well-liked scamp that knows how to have fun than a studious reader, but that's just my two cents.
+1

Realistically, within this time period, education wouldn't be much valued (unless we plan on being a priest). A studious nature would negatively impact our reputation, and not just with children. We need to be a knight, a warrior, not a scholar, and unless we are being taught battlefield tactics, we leave!
At this age, we can chop out the "Unless" clause.
