"M-m-miss... a-are you okay...?" Selina walks over to Angel's Mom, helping her up. On the way over, Meme jumped off of Cyrielle and climbed up Selina's back to sit on her head and wave at Angel's Mom.

"Hi... er... Great Anty Angel!" Meme waves happily at her.

"Um...I-I think so..." She notices Meme. "Um...hello?" Angel's mother is confused.

Vremya is...um... on Angel's mom's head.

"FOR SCIENCE!"

She hears Vremya, looks up enough to see one of Vremya's arms, and shrieks.
"What's wrong, Mom?"
"Get it off, get it off!"

Angel decides that if Selina is petting Nyle, it's probably a good thing to pet Nyle. So she does so with the non-Nyle-holding hand.

((I will once more ask rag if Angel's knives and armor are special or not.))

Oh, that's what TA stood for! And why a game I had never heard of already had 14 pages.

So! Now to retcon Angel back in.

A ridge, overlooking a city in ruins.
Children stand upon this ridge, looking down upon the destruction and pain spread out below them like a morbid tapestry. The whole city had been leveled, almost, the only buildings remaining standing littered with holes and ruin.
They'd been too late.
They could tell... feel, more than see, that there was nothing alive down there now. Nothing but the twelve Daybreakers who were heading into the hellhole left behind, to kill whatever had caused it.
"Welcome to hell, fish." Vivian looks down at the ruins before her, eyes narrowed, breathing slowly.

"...Um, is this actually Hell?"

"Maybe you are getting an alternate personality."

"I wonder if I'll ever get one..."

"Yeah, it is, isn't it?"
CREEPY SMILE ACTIVATE

The smile is still creepy enough to send Angel hiding behind Selina, however.

"At this rate I'm going to end up killing someone. And it wont be who you expect."

Angel hides behind Selina from a different direction as well.

"Rolling... around...? Why would we... we do that...?" Selina is confused, and doesn't really understand what Kate is saying.

Same with Angel. She has a vague idea, which is slightly right but mostly wrong.

Kate give a kick along the ground...

Angel is now trying to hide from three people at once.

"It's fine.
Most people wouldn't be comfortable around me anyway, since I'm literally the personification of evil and immorality ((IF THAT'S EVEN A WORD)) inside of Lyle.
Pretty weird shit."

"Im-immorality is a word..."

"N-n-never red...!" She yells before looking away embarrassed. She takes a couple more steps back, her eyes flashing yellow more than red now.

Angel gets out of the way before resuming hiding.

"Er..." Selina walks slowly closer and sits down about 8 feet away, still not trusting Nyle at all.

Angel follows her friend and cover.

Nox (20) hops up and sits down next to Selina.
"I may not know everything Lyle does, but I do know that Selina likes fluffy things.
And also..
..pillows."

Angel picks up Nox.

the enemies don't really have any motivation (I like my villains to have a human flavor to them)

I read from some OOC notes that they do have a motivation, it's just not known IC.

and I realized that Farah is so psychopathic she probably should have killed someone by now if it wasn't for the fact everyone's a player.

...Good reasoning.

Plus... what can I say, I share the opinion with Farah that guns are cool, and thus in most of my settings a gun is as good as a spell. Call me a sucker for cool things.

Guns are very good at what they are meant to do: Kill enemies/prey that have biology similar to that of most terrestrial animals. But what happens if we fight, say, a giant, malevolent slime mold? Bullets pass right through it, but a sword or mace or something would disrupt it severely. Similarly if the enemy is, well, just about anything without vital organs and blood.
In addition, it might be that well-magicked weapons are better than the best-made mundane weapons, and guns either can't or are hard/dangerous to make magic, presumably due to being powered by explosions rather than muscle.


Say, rag, is there anything special about Angel's armor/throwing knives?

In case anyone's forgotten, Angel's new to this whole "magic" thing. And she's five. She's not going to be phased by much of anything magical now that she knows magic exists.
Unless it's an angry dragon or a demonic horde or an evil clown or something, of course.
