Roll To Dodge / Re: Battle Arena, because we need more of these!

That's hilarious. Almost as funny as the timing of flabort's taunt!

Anyways, advice for next time: Fill in the stripes' colors before adding the names.

23102
Ah, yes, tablet-turns. So annoying. My condolences.

Name: LegoLad
Appearance: A generic LEGO Minifigure.
Color: Yellow

He was supposed to be Cutebold Indiana Jones!
When Kenji referred to himself becoming Dynamo, did he mean Daimyo?

The Cutebolds could use some practice. Them, Albus, and Quigleyurk.

"Sir!"
"Schmidt? I'm glad you're here. I thought that Kabul--"
"Rumors of my death were greatly exaggerated."
"So it would seem. Well, since you're here, do you have--"
"China has fallen."
"Obviously."
"I mean, officially. No cities, and what military remains is expected to surrender or be defeated within a few months."
"They'll doubtless be a pain to the Russians."
"Doubtless. There is other good news."
"Oh?"
"We have breached the Indian defensive line!"
"...That is good news. How goes the offensive?"
"Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and of course Turkmenistan are our 'beachhead'. We expect Uzbekistan to follow. Aside from what is left of India's Wall of Men and Rifles, there are no deployed forces in the Indian Empire proper--"
"Which is good."
"--but there are significant garrisoned forces."
"...How significant?"
"About three dozen bombers and ten units of militia in Islamabad, the largest gathering of forces we've seen. Other cities have mixtures of militia and infantry ranging from four militia to eight infantry and nine militia in Dehli and Jaipur."
"That doesn't sound so bad."
"Perhaps not, but Pakistan will be a tough nut to crush."
"Stick to the facts, poetry has never been your strong suit."
"Yes, sir. The Indian offensive push is moving towards the Turks. They have a dozen tanks in Saudi Arabia, large numbers of militia units and another tank in Dubai, and small numbers of troops in Oman. Their troops in Yemen are not supposed to be any larger."
"Iran?"
"I would advise against doing so."
"You aren't a good comedian, either."
"Fine. The Iranian offense consists of two units of four. Not much, especially for a territory occupied heavily by Turkish units and passed through by our own."
"And then there's the rest of the Wall."
"Indeed."
"Their main efforts are directed at the Russians?"
"We assume so, yes. What little we know about troop movements that far east supports such. Bombings in Guangzhou, Haikou captured, et cetera."
"Reports on the East Russians?"
"Partial defensive formations along our northern border--"
"What?"
"Partial defensive formations along our northern border with them--the East Russians."
"Hardly a location to expect an attack from. Unless they're thinking of breaking the alliance?"
"Dozens of tanks going through Kazakhstan, not even the easternmost part. Another defensive formation moving across the west, one across the south. Aside from the Turkish one, those are locations with low troop densities. Moreover, they have well over a dozen tanks in the Mosul region. I think they intend to."
"Oh dear."
"Either that, or they are assembling defenses for if we break the alliance--"
"Why start in our north?"
"I do not know."
"...Let's move onto concrete facts. Iberia?"
"Completely ours within the month, just Seville left. Once we do so, only Turkish incomplete dominance over their lands and the fact that they haven't conquered Italy prevent us from calling Europe completely dominated by the great powers."
"Assuming you ignore the Atlantic islands."
"...Yes, I suppose..."
"Such as Iceland."
"Ah, yes. Next month, I was hoping to surprise you--"
"I'm not complaining. If this works, it will be an excellent addition to our empire."
"Ah. Excellent."
"Now, then. How do you expect the war with India will go?"
"With the forces we have pouring across Europe, plus the low forces (aside from a few cities) in our area, I don't expect the next leg of the invasion to pose much of a problem. Then we have the heart of the Indian empire."
"Indeed."
"But, I suspect we will be successful. After all, it is us who have two allies fighting them and a substantial beachhead in their empire, not the other way around."
"Very true."
"Shall I get the Indians on the line?"
"No. Anything I want to say, they can see in their morning newspaper, or by looking out the window. We are coming. They know."

Richard checks his card. Wonder what team he's on. Hopefully, like, Lambda or Kappa or something. Or maybe Tau, because Team Tau sounds cool.
They're about as nice as teams get, but a bit squishy in melee combat.

23107
"Did this just die? There isn't any activity on any of the threads."
"I think so, yeah."

"No. I just can't be bothered to inject plot yet."
Rhad is holding a large needle with PLOT inside it. It is a liquid not unlike ink.
"Is that a pen?"

"Hey, want me to try adding some plot?"

Quick question: Impire?

If we REALLY want to survive, our best bet is being a small carnivore of even smaller herbivores. Just ask pretty much anything ever. Ask birds, shrew-like mammals, small lizards...
Some of those shrew-like mammals are omnivores. Eating plants as well improves our chances a bit.

Why did I take 13 damage from opening a door?
*insert picture of Admiral Ackbar here*

How far across is the room? If it's short enough, I suggest we tie my rope to our end, then I use my exceptional dexterity to traverse the beam (unless my Climb Wall skill can be used to move safely along the edges) and tie the rope to the other end to help the rest of your doughnuts across. Then I can move back to retrieve the rope and such.
Sounds like as good a plan as any. But first...

Test the ability of the floor to the left to hold my weight. Jump up and down slightly near the stable floor to make sure the middle can hold my weight.

Notice that we had written down an odd passage in our Grimoire
Sounds like a plan. If this fails, could we wake her up?

What do you want to discuss? If I'm a horrible communicator, how do you intend to solve that by insulting me and refusing to answer my questions?
I want to discuss why you're a horrible communicator and how you can get better, obviously. Would you be willing to discuss that?
Maybe if you solved your issues of insulting me.

And it seems pretty hypocritical of you to accuse me of "dodg[ing] another issue you don't like discussing" when you refuse to answer the questions I'm asking you.
I've got a very good and very clearly stated reason for doing so. You've got an extensive history with no explanation whatsoever.
So, I'm a bad communicator, hence you don't have to communicate with me. I'm sensing a bit of a double standard...

You're blaming my problems for the argument, and saying that because I'm a terrible communicator you don't have to answer my arguments. See the ad hominem yet? Even if it doesn't qualify, it's still extremely rude.

Perhaps we should start over.

What are the benefits of leaving out the minor animals? You tried to answer, I asked for clarification, and with your apparently-perfect communication skills you avoided answering the question, instead focusing on the fact that I was talking. So tell me: Why are you forcing us to make every minor creature separately?
