Tsuchigumo: In case you haven't noticed, I'm currently more focused on how we need to make rats than on the thousands of species we "need".

Irony: There you go with your ad hominem again. And have you considered the possibility that there are multiple problems?

Abstain.

random.org tonight.

Go buy a sword and gun off the internet or something. Then make plans to eradicate crime from the city.
[6] You purchase a pistol and a scimitar online. [6] Plans made. Many, many pieces of paper used. The owner of these papers is angry. Oh, and since you don't have a house, you are a bit concerned about the rainclouds gathering under the rising sun...

Go buy a vine at a gardening store, and test back at my apartment if I can absorb the cine into me.
Hm...[4] Yes. It doesn't feel quite right, though...

hack phlebotinum website, follow money trail back to source.
[6] Wow. random.org is spitting out 6's tonight. Maybe I should go back to dice.
You do so. You think you've found the source.

Punch a hole through the mech!
[1] Good news: You broke something. Bad news: Something is your hand.

Build elaborate fake missile for dud nuke, acquire thermite.
[3] Fake missile built. [4] Thermite get.

ok since I'm apparently not getting very far in that regard...Start moving, keeping an eye on myself to make sure nothing falls off. Try and find someone who knows what the hell just happened.
You wander around. [5] You notice the woman who everyone seems to be going towards. You shove some people out of the way.
"What's going on?"
"I'm healing people."
"From what?"
"That bomb that went off! ...You okay?"

"Hm... okay... I'm still not sure what happened here."

Look for another terribly injured guy. Try doing the beam thing again.
Injured people are not hard to find. [3,4] You find someone who looks hurt, a little girl missing an arm and bleeding. Light flows from you again and strikes her; her wound begins closing. She wakes up and looks at you.

"Er... We may want to hurry up with whatever we're doing." Love said nervously. "I think I've shielded us, I think, but there's a lot of them. A lot. May just be that I'm picking up more than usual though, I don't typically try this kind of mass scale mental phreaking. I don't exactly have much to go up against praying mantis bone claw things and fangs the size of my fingers however and knowing this many around us isn't exactly a fun fact for a bored Tuesday." Irving wiggled his fingers visibly for visual reference. "I'll keep screening us from their thoughts though, maybe see if I can influence a few to go elsewhere. Or fight each other, that might trim their numbers down a bit, although might wind up causing more to show up due to the ruckus..."
Talking to himself, unless I missed some part of the plans, Love focuses his thoughts. [6] He gives himself a headache. However, people are seeming to want to avoid him. Success!

I've noticed that not as many people seem to be posting. Any idea why?

I'm going to play a Warlock, possibly a Spellscale. It was decided that we would be 3rd level, right?

Bluntly put, I wouldn't mind if this game died. Not at all. I don't get what the game is supposed to be or how we're expected to do anything.
Why do you think you're alone in all of these?
I have no earthly idea. However, very nearly no one else has spoken up. Most that have have only expressed their opinions about me.

And, frankly, the former only matters for me trying to understand your rules. The latter is the big one. How are we supposed to forge a whole world if we need to make each individual species as well as the places they live, one species or one region at a time?

So, no answers for me then?

Abilities, before dwarven racial modifiers.

Why would it be better?

Do you want us to roll 4d6-drop-one at home, use the Elite Array, point buy, what?

Firstly: I pay little attention to others in the specific circumstances where I have better information--eg, when they are contradicting the GM's statements on his own rules. Moreover, I still read their posts, I just don't believe them over the other facts. Don't twist my words, it's rude.

Secondly, I fail to see how you can claim that I don't address your points when I'm doing so right now.

Thirdly, in what way am I arguing at " something which isn't even nearly the tenth of the way done"? I'm arguing at the rules, not the world you're making.

Fourthly, I'm trying to address the issue.

Fifthly, he's responding to my posts here. How can he pay more attention if I PM him? Will he respond to each of my PMs twice or what?

Sixthly, I understand what you think, but he's dodged my questions as long as he could and gave me veiled insults when he was posting in the public forum. I don't think he'll stop when we go into private messages. I want to at least be able to hold him accountable for his words.

Seventhly, you haven't actually addressed my main issues. I don't care if this thread is a little cluttered; I'm not sure if you've noticed, but there's no turns. Not much being lost. And, speaking as a GM, I am perfectly willing to dig past a few more posts of debate. I don't complain when people talk a lot in my threads, I certainly don't complain if people ask me why I run things the way I do. If there is an actual problem, I fix it. All I'm asking is for Irony to either fix the problem or explain why he can't in a way that is actually, you know, sensible.

EDIT: Abilities added.
Spoiler: Taberk Mudbeard (click to show/hide)

List of ship modules so far. Anything missing you can think of?
Instructions on how to look at those would be nice, I guess.
Maybe some kind of ram?

We can just end the test now, give me a bit to get everything ready for the next part and then start that, if you guys want. I think this has helped me work things out pretty well, brought up the issues and such.
I am ambivalent towards this option.

I don't think that will help me get results. Sorry, I just don't trust other people enough to expect the to have better behavior when no one's watching...

23129
Would you like full character sheets or just those questions answered?

Are we "good-race" adventurers or "evil-race" ones?

Keep watching the Blue ship and fire the cannon if it comes in line...
