"Depends on the exact venom. Dabbat cures most poisons, of course, but the sawscale's venom (as well as others', but they're a lot rarer) wouldn't be. Although sawscales' venom causes swelling and blisters, not paralysis. Anyways, dabbat's a good bet when you don't have any specific antivenims."

You said it was probably the former, ie that they were made of kevlar.

Which, incidentally, cannot resist broken glass shards.
