Sorry, Kenji. I didn't mean to call you a set of Japanese characters...although given your roots, it's an understandable mistake.

Um, let's see...
Gladys, Quigleyurk, Albus: Charge the northernmost cutebold. Attack.
Kenji: Throw a potion at a cutebold.
Rave: Use a Dark Missile on the middle cutebold.

EDIT: I'm taking the Big trait now. Is this fine? What is the reach for a large creature?
Assuming you are humanoid, 10 feet base, or up to 20 with a reach weapon.

Culture-sensitive? Most fantasy culture stuff (books, games etc.) portray dragons as either monsters who terrorize on purpose or by their nature.

If Asimov existed, his Laws did.
They just weren't ever used for practical purposes.

"Oof..."

Bitesti sits down to recover, and after a minute tries to summon a little fire like the demon had.

I'm a bit disturbed by how...non-first-law-compliant she is.

Well, as GM, now you know: I tend to refer to characters by their in-character names, so you the GM should have a list somewhere.

Difference being, we weren't bringing the families into a warzone; we were leaving them well behind our own lines. If the enemy armies reach them, chances are we're either too dead to care or too imprisoned to find out.

Rule: No rolls are needed to run from a room. Rule firmly established back in the Big Wisp fight and exploited ever since.

Name: Mark Shepherd
Silly me, expecting the GM to remember character names.

Still, 97% seems a bit...high. What kind of people leaves their...wait.

Why are these people being stupid in a way that violates my sense of common sense and why am I complaining about it?

We're already in their threatened area

I think that assuming that it's more dangerous to run straight past an enemy than out of their 'threatened area' isn't a silly assumption to make.
Besides, on the basis that both parties are unwilling to step onto what we think is a teleporter pad (do we actually have any proof of this?), if we run West, we'll have to go around/jump over the pad in the process, either slowing us down & giving the 'bots more time to react, (the former) or possibly slipping and landing on the pad (or being knocked into it via collision with a bot) if we try to jump.
Going north alleviates these (probable) problems.
I based my argument on rules; you based yours on assumptions and logic. Well, logic won't hurt, but I think the actual rules of the Warrens will take precedent; they have in the past!

And, humoring your argument: it's the same distance either way, we're right about in the middle of the room.
