Windows 8 Paint doesn't work like older Paint. Besides, I started planning a new illustrated game, and while this is a neat concept, I never really...felt it. It feels like this is going to be a stale RtD before too long, a dancing bear with one dance.

Let's stop it while it's still good, so we remember it as it was, not as it would become.

Spoiler: Angel (click to show/hide)

Nuriel looks uncomfortable.

Angel goes back over to Kyle. "You okay?"

Assuming they spot us- meanwhile, they will spot the cloud, and it won't take them long to notice it's not normal. Staying as bones & ice diminishes our profile. Magic ice is magic! Cam-of-lag-e? What is that, some sort of french vid'ya maker?
-Playing the stalker-cloud would be no less obvious to them than snake's box routine.
1. Ice isn't air. It's visible. Even if not, bones are still visible.
2. Dragons are always a call for immediate attention, especially strange ones, especially undead-looking ones. Clouds are not nearly so alarming, unless we do something stupidly obvious or obviously stupid.
3. Sorry if this sounds patronizing or something, but: Clouds look like clouds. Therefore, a cloud-colored cloud would be harder to spot against a cloud than

OKAY, guys, howabout we don't even bother with them unless they're coming straight at us?
Um...they are.

((As I have stated, we shall not follow them. Additionally stealth is preferred, not mandatory. Even if they spot the odd cloud, we can send out a golem representative and communicate via telepathic ventriloquy so that they don't get frightened by the sight of an ice encrusted skeletal dragon.))
Works better than showing them a big icy skeletal dragon.

...How?
'Oh now you're just being petty, GWG.'
'Morality is petty?'

Bolded for emphasis.
My argument was based on morality. I was assuming you were referring to my argument as being based on petty concepts, as literally applying pettiness to physical objects is as nonsensical as literally applying adjectives to verbs.

Heh. Fig-gnasher, you're cute when you're horrified over the moral implications of making money.
Hey, Xantalos, you're annoying when you're ignoring the moral implications of whatever sin you are contemplating.

Fig-Gnasher: Ready an action to attack any enemy cutebold that comes within reach. Guard Gladys.
X, Albus: CHARGE! The nearer one, to be specific.
Gladys:
Um...Whatever you want, I guess. Just don't hurt Fig-Gnasher or yourself. By the way, Fig-Gnasher, is it fine if I call you Figgy?
This is good, but I have to wonder if "guarding" will do anything. I'm more concerned about preserving Gladys than finishing off the kobold, but I'm curious if having Fig-Gnasher just rush it would be any different or maybe even better. We'd still get an AoO if he tried to move around him, and we'd get a free attack regardless.
Guarding reduces the risk that some hidden kobold would jump out of hiding or something, and also means there's a chance we can keep Fig-Gnasher out of direct combat--which is good, he's not made to take blows.

Wait, is it the same character or someone new?

Also, that was pretty cheap...unless something deeper is going on, in which case it was only kinda cheap.

24623
"Whatever." Angel kisses Kyle again.

"Why is no one hormonal? This takes all the fun of making you all into hormonal teenagers."

They're sky-mariners, boyanced upon the air currents; paying attention to the clouds is what they do.
They'd pay attention to a dragon, regardless of if it's made of ice or no.

-Couple that with the fact we're made of magic ice, and I'd say if we keep pretty high above them we'll be harder to see without our mist.
Aheheh. Ignoring how very little ice is like that, we've got bones in the middle. And have you never heard of camoflage?

Quote
And darn, I was hoping you'd argue about the relative suspiciousness of stalker-clouds vs stalker-dragons.
Well, it's not that I think stalker clouds are inconspicuous, it's that they're pretty mundane compared to dragons.

Besides, clouds move all the time. They're not mountains. We might be a little out of the ordinary, but if we don't do anything stupidly obvious or obviously stupid it'll work better than being a dragon, made of ice, with bones in the middle which may or may not be visible.

24628
A cloud that follows them is a lot less suspicious than a dragon made of ice doing the same thing...
That's debatable.
-As is the inference that it would be more effective.
Clouds are something you see every day. If they're not paying much attention to every cloud, they probably won't think more of us staying in roughly the same position to them as they do of mundane clouds doing basically the same thing. Dragons made of ice? I'd imagine this would be the first time for any of them, not to mention that it's an immediate threat.

But if we want to be friendly, there's no time to start like the present! Let's land on their ship and say hello! Politely & with extreme care!
I'd rather scout them out first...at least a quick glance.

24629
"Plan B, then." Everyone is about 16, and extremely hormonal. Angel glances over at Kyle and kisses him.
"That worked even better than I expected."

I've been getting lots of 504's too. Weird.

Make the goblins hope that they die.
