I will point out most of the movie takes place in either the woods, the already frozen mountains or ground zero. So there is no reason to believe that it affected the entire world just like there is no reason to think it affected the some twenty miles around Arendelle.
The woods and mountains were pretty far from Ground Zero. Moreover, the problem isn't just that the mountains were frozen--everywhere you could see from the mountains was frozen.

And...yeah, Cado elaborated part of the thing pretty well. Elsa freezes stuff, cold fronts pop up, etc. Cold spreads. It doesn't take a foot of snow to screw with crops and such, although it certainly makes it more definite.

And, above all...the movie never even implies that it's a local disaster. The fact that the Duke is concerned about freezing to death pretty much states that no, they can't leave the affected area and go elsewhere. Why can't they leave, when they can go to the North Mountain, where the snow is worst? Why can Anna's horse brave the snow, but the inhabitants of and visitors to Arendell can't escape the blizzard that way? The simplest answer is that there's nowhere to go to.

And there's no one else for me to wage war on.

It doesn't make a lot of sense from an RP perspective, I guess, but there isn't exactly a lot of RP in this game.

((To be honest, I don't think the new demons would know that there was a fight due to 1. not being there to see it, 2. no one in this group has been injured and conny only let light balls loose. At most that would give a few scuff marks, and 3. The frozen demons can't exactly tell the demons anything due to being unable to do anything.))
((They're not guessing there was a fight, they're guessing that you're lying.))

Quote
"Seriously why do I have to deal with incompetent demons all the damn time. First off, does anyone here look injured? There should be at least blood on the ground to signify a fight. Second," Sen forms a paper Katana and stabs luna in the heart, "Would their own ally kill a teammate? Sucks that I have one less soul to trade..."
"If you had to convince us? I can see the price being worth it. Now, how are you going to convince us that these demons decided to turn against Seham and ally with these idiots, rather than do literally anything else?"

2554
"Curse their sudden, but inevitable betrayal"? :P
Betrayal requires a period of friendship.

The Terminators have no one to give them commands. Therefore, they are at the top. Therefore, they have won. Therefore, they dared.

New logic next post, I believe.

Alright. First, what CEA's are available? Second, while there are many interesting options, I'll go with Roulette (Chance) for now.

((How did I screw up my own plan? Do you even know my full plan?))
((I'm guessing "make the demons pretty sure you're lying" was not part of it.))

Quote
"Really? If they didn't betray Seham, would they be frozen? Can I please speak with a less impotent demon? Preferably one that isn't a complete screw up?" Sen withholds from killing the impotent demon.
"Maybe because they were attacking you? And what the hell is wrong with you?"

I could argue about how that never was the case or how your being stupid.
Screw you too. And no, it's been the case as long as we've been multi-targeting in this ruleset.

But I wont. You want me to loose. Fine. I do.
I don't want you to lose, I want you to think.
Just because you can fight doesn't mean you should.

Humans will serve as biomechanical batteries for a machine empire. The Matrix depicts this happening, despite being made before humans served as biomechanical batteries for a machine empire. Therefore, The Matrix had to be sent back in time.
Therefore, the Matrix franchise exists in the same universe as the Terminator franchise.

((...By the way, does anyone care to hear about how BS that explanation is or how much awesomer the originally-planned wetware computing thing was?))

Radio was saying a young Jamie Bamber would by Miyamoto, DP. :P
Indeed. Also, if we're going with stuff from that movie, I think whoever voiced Jar Jar Binks should voice Grate.
Why does everyone hate Grate now?

You'd also need to mod in anomalies and ER-style space magic.
Not too hard, and already in there (space wizard powers).
But not much like manipulators or amps. Which is why I specified.

Well, over the course of the movie (which, judging by the low amount of time spent anywhere but the capital and the time passed, meaning that they traveled quite a few hours to have the sun set and rise, covered an area several miles across), we never see any kind of evidence of green on the horizon. This means that the snow covered, at minimum, a rough circle over 20 miles across. And there's no reason to think that only the absolute minimum possible area got affected.
Overall...there's nothing that specifies that the winter only covered Arendell, and there are several indications that this at minimum could have affected a much, much larger area, and probably that there was reason to think it did (e.g, mages often causing multi-kingdom devastation). It makes more sense that the ocean-freezing, blizzard-of-the-millenium-summoning, etc Elsa affected the whole known world, especially since no one suggested just leaving the affected area. Even if she didn't, plopping down a couple-dozen-mile area of winter into the middle of summer is going to have effects on the outlying areas. Elsa is a sorceress of ice, not weather.

And "one-province minors" become one-province majors when they screw with economies, prevent marriages, and freeze the world.

Nope. You're AI-controlled, aka an NPC. Check your stats more carefully.
No, you have it as 'I am an AI', not 'I am controlled by an AI'.  The exact wording for the result that caused me to become an AI is 'You are now an AI character', which means I am character who is AI, not a character controlled by one.
"AI character" usually refers to "character controlled by the game's artificial intelligence," since for a character who is an AI one would just say "you are an AI". My mistake in not recognizing the potential confusion.
Besides, didn't a ONE giving you exactly what you wanted give you any suspicion? It sure should have.

Holy carp! Eotyrannus healed something! Without killing people!
Chaos decreases! So do the other Meters, mostly out of surprise.

Respawn. Shoryuken GWG's face.
[6]
You hit the dragon with the Rising Dragon Fist?
It works, but you get imprisoned for heresy. Yeah, they're a bit surprised, too.
+2 Pain for GWG.

Disbelieve the chaos meter as measurable chaos is thus ordered and thus not chaos.
[1] Chaos Meter increased by 3. There are two marks left in the Chaos Meter.

UNIVERSAL RESET

BECOME THE UNIVERSE
IF THATS TOO MUCH, BECOME MEGAS XLR OR SOMETHING

[4] You are the new universe. Good timing, by the way.

put the remains of North America in the machine and press the button
North America is gone. So is the machine.
Destroying everything does that.

Summon the Shamwow Guy and have him fight Billy Mays in awesome pitchman combat
Billy Mays is gone, but you can just summon him next turn.
[3] You try to summon the ShamWow guy, but he's busy. At least you get a bunch of complimentary ShamWows.

Thank the kindly old Veteran for his efforts, and FLY!
The veteran is gone.

Hey I'm not an enemy. These GWG clones are meant to help defend the original. Of course, that is if I was able to control them. How many are there?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
[2] Nope.

Give WhitiusOpius a cosplay meter.
He's gone. Maybe later.

Enchant Black Hole with the ability to absorb one Game Object per turn, and convert it into one bar for the Chaos Meter. If the Chaos Meter overflows, every point of overflow allows it to enjoy one extra piece of the universe per turn.
The Chaos Meter measures how long until chaos destroys the universe. Which it did. The black hole is gone, too.

Respawn as the dragon, Bahamut.
[4] You are Bahamut.

Are new players not allowed to join, or was I skipped?
I must not have seen your action. Sorry.

Zombify!
[4] You respawn as a zombie.

Stay in character as GWG by trying to ship myself and STEPHEN HAWKING. The roll shall decide how.
...
No. How the hell is that in character?

Make a vote for the ability to make 2 actions if one wishes to.
[1] This was the honest roll.
...
You, um...lose...something.

Romance Elsa while Aiding the Allies of GWG.
Elsa is gone.
Besides, no one was getting anywhere with her. Why do you think you would?

Have a warm bath in !!MAGMA!! as I'm a hellhound the heat can't harm me. Splash Sanure while I'm in the bath
[2] Huh. Hell hounds may or may not be immune to fire, but they're definitely not immune to density. You walk on lava for a little bit, then stop because your paws start to hurt. You're sad.

NPC Turns:

Prevent people from becoming Victims this universe.
[1] Nope. Five victims. Let's see who they are...TamerVirus, killerhellhound, GreatWyrmGold, TamerVirus already got rolled, so did killerhellhound, blazing glory, TalonisWolf, GreatWyrmGold already got rolled, so did blazing glory, blazing glory just got rerolled, that's three bg's in a row FINE! Only four Victims.
...Wait, Talonis isn't Tamer. I count so good.

...?

No one cares anymore GWG. Shut it.
If no one cares, why do they keep providing counter-arguments?
To be blunt, you're fun to provoke since you make at least semi reasoned arguments rather than frothing at the ass.
...Huh.

Anyways. I had an interesting dream last night, which I think helps explain Elsa's lack of diplomatic ability.

Anyways. Since most folks seem to want to skip ahead, we'll do that. Later today, I hope but cannot promise.

Fun-time offtopic question:

If ER was to be made into a movie and/or television series, who would y'all pick as actors for each of the characters?
I can probably count all the actors/actresses I know both the names and some of the roles they've played on my fingers.

Which would work better as a video game of ER, a first person shooter? Or a squad command game?
This one, I can answer.
Hm. Probably an FPS squad co-op game. Too chaotic for a squad command game.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/gatewayrl/

This is a roguelike made a few years ago that was somewhat of an inspiration for ER. It's fairly unknown, but perhaps you'll see some similarities.
Neat. I'll look into it. After all, if it inspired ER, it probably isn't harboring viruses.

I'd say a custom SS13 map could work. A small spaceship (the lobby of sorts) for people to dick around, actual missions require one to board a shuttle to be shot of at the mission (on another Z level). Admin would run the mission and play as Steve, several fun options possible (derelict spaceship investigation, civilian rescue, artifact retrieval, exploring alien ruins, ...). Biggest trouble would be making the maps, obviously, but apart from the robust combat system, I think SS13 would accommodate an ER style game quite well.
You'd also need to mod in anomalies and ER-style space magic.

I was bored last summer so I wrote a small script of the first mission of ER as part of a TV series just for fun. I might post it when I get back to my PC if I find the courage to do so.
Was it like an episode or more like a whole season?

I think we should all answer TCM's question.

Also Grate is Jake Lloyd circa Phantom Menace so he's extra-punchable. :P
YES
Why does everyone want to punch my characters?
(And don't blame the kid, blame the people who made the plot.)

Who would play the crew of the Sword?
The crew? Do you mean Doc, Nyars, &co, or do you mean the nameless extras who keep the ship from exploding?

One turn ago, you healed. This turn, you used an attack which hits a lot of people. Not the same.
Multi-targeting gives a -2 penalty per person past the first you affect. It's always been like that. You can hardly blame me if I don't bend the rules to let you use some special ability from something I don't even understand.
