Because she is brave and not ambitious? Or at least, braver than she is ambitious?

Is there a castle on a cloud?
I'd like to go there when I sleep.

Seriously, though.

Spoiler: Alex (click to show/hide)

Ah.

So, hopefully the turn will be up before too long?

Mos muses to himself: Now that is a distraction...

This doesn't interrupt him as he prepares to cast Stunball on the guards.

EDIT: By the way, is there a reason Mos's sheet isn't in the second post yet?

WOOPS another oversight I'm likely to be bitched at for, as though nobody else has ever made a mistake in the history of creation.
We wouldn't claim no one has made a mistake before. We merely state that no one's mistakes have threatened both Mitheraria and the very existence of the universe. Or, in fact, either. And this is from one mistake.

Erase the Deep Spawn from existence in a non-dramatic fashion, preferably coordinating efforts with that dragon-thing, Neyravah.
((I'm already helping Derm, so that's three guys working together.))

25522
Wait, are we supposed to be PMing our turns in already?

Hm. Well, I think the most obvious way to go with this would be a scene with scapheap about the rifle--me talking to him about how I could get it from him.
If scap doesn't want to, though...maybe a bank-robbery-planning scene? Obviously not including me.

"*sigh* This is even creepier than the main thread; Kyle and Connie froze while in flagranti while Selina is just staring at them and Hestia is still frozen in the process of getting cheese."
"What's flagranti?"

((Yeeeah, to be perfectly honest that cyclone is probably the safest place in the room, considering that DR is highly unlikely to hurt Selina.))
...except that she already has.

So, heres a quick list of characters who give plus and minus modifiers, and some environment stuff...
Can we suggest additional people/things/events to add to the list?
For instance, it strikes me that Matt's return might give a small, permanent bonus to the Sane side.

I'm just going to read the main thread and wirte the next turn, after breakfast.
Which took five hours, the breakfast or the turn?
...Or possibly the reading-the-thread.

... Holy shit. o.o I sleep and didn't wake up to a million posts. This is new.
Yeah the thread's been surprisingly quite.
I had about seven or eight pages to go through.
That's nothing to spit at.

Try to throw Mage Hand something from a distance to slightly chip one first. If they contain elemental powers, then those elemental powers might be uncontained right in our face.
I see four colours. There are four elements. Therefore, we should take a sample of each of the coloured crystals.
Sounds like a plan.

<...She has another personality... that isn't Ghost!? ...We need a phyciatrist.>
<That seems like it would help.>

<I wouldn't go to a therapist, they're in league with the foundation.>
<Kyle? You're insane.>

<I pick dare. I'm not telling you who she is.>
<Didn't we stop doing dares because they're pointless? Still, if you insist, I could ask Demons Run to whip something up...>

<How did we mindrape DEMONS RUN?!>
<By refusing to allow her to forget how she apparently feels about Selina.>

<Ah, she's like me. Faithful to the one they love alone.
<Who, for you, is...>

Aedan continues trying to get through the cyclone while Kyle's link is at this point rhythmic thumps.
<Idiot.>

<Experience... lots, and lots of experience... And many, many aspirins when she has a bad day.>
<I'm sorry to hear that. I feel your pain--Nuriel is also annoying.>
<I'm listening...>
<I know.>

Selina stirs for a moment but does not awaken, appearing to still be unable to get up.

"Did ol'reliable just fail us!?"
<Yes, if you mean the smelling salts.>

"Mistress, I have terrible news."

"What?"

Anima looked vaguely confused. Hestia dispelled the healing hearth.
<This isn't good...>

Hestia shrugs.
"Not much of a surprise to you, it seems."
<We're busy.>

Quote
She sighs.
"Selina will not wake up. Perhaps Maria should kiss her?"
<Cliche, but it might work.>

Selina curls up a bit next to DR, like you would when your sleeping. She looks exhausted but peaceful next to the bloody and imposing DR.

"Whatever you guys did... i think it worked..."
<I'll take your word for it, I can't see her...>

So, um... Here's my question, regarding tactical combat. Does anybody remember what the penalty is for using a medium range weapon at long range? Cause I'm thinking, since we know that Wisps have ranged attacks, and that since we know their attacks are medium range, if we could just stay at long range and pepper them with bullets and take advantage of the penalty they have and just wear them down. I'm also not sure if this plan would benefit from or suffer from a switch to tactical combat, as the consensus seems to be right now.
Our attacks are Medium-range, too.

And if we go for the convincing the wisps not to join us, the insanity penalty will just become a +20 most likely.
If so, then our next course of action should be phrasing the request in such an odd and colnvoluted way that FFS gets confused in which direction insanity should apply.
Sigh.
No matter what, the wisps will keep attacking.

25529
If there was a way to do that that didn't risk time paradoxes, We would support it. Fitting punishment.

25530
Of course not. He loves his creation too much to do that. Even when it not only threatens Mitheraria, but the universe itself.

Want to prove us wrong, rings? Do it. Destroy this beast, cage it, whatever.
