The "Undead Troubles" quest seems too...iffy.
The "Basilisk Cave" quest seems to require a level of subtlety and intellect not possessed by these adventurers.
Out of the remaining two, "Demonic Cult" is more ideal due to its higher payoff and getting the warpriest to shut up. In fact, that payoff is by far the highest of any quest...

Let's start a list of effectively useless things that we shouldn't be carting around:
Growth (limited-use skill costing MP? No thanks!)
Cherish's Staff (does as much as unarmed, IIRC)
Scanner (Unrecharged, and we almost never use it anyways. What would we even use it on?)
The Key (Unless we're opening the door before we can go back to Storage?)
I support storing all this shit.
It's not "shit," unless by shit you mean Situationally Helpless I...okay, it's just currently unuseful.

But..... But..... We can use the scanner again soon! On Goombess!

I think we are getting close to the territory of impossible actions..... Might wanna stop trying to convince them before we have to get 30+ on rolls to even speak to them properly.
Hence my sarcastic suggestion.

I think we're built exactly like a rogue. Not the sneaky stab kind, the quick and mean stabbity poison stab kind.

I say double knives and a buckler to strap on our arm.

and maybe 50 100 gold. That's 50 feet of rope in D&D. That's a lot of rope. a nice round number and should be sufficient.

And wizard. The priestess has been trustworthy so far, right? Plus I don't want our head priestess to be angry at us. SHe's competent and knows she's being watched by Put.
