Oh. That makes sense.

...And there will be some way to program in autoturns?

"You are correct. I was referring more to Horace."

Out of curiosity, how do you intend to run turns when you are asleep?

((Mos will also be going in.))

And a crowbar, if we can afford it.

Sledgehammer also makes an acceptable backup weapon.

Getting a crossbow would be good, yes.

Thankfully, we have the money to do so.

So, list:

1. Make the time-accelerating hourglass.
2. Buy a crossbow.
3. Buy armor.
Anything else?

Sure! Sounds more useful than a few one-shot items.

Oh dear...well, the King asked for it; if he wants it, he will need to pay for it. If he won't pay for it, he can't get it. There's no way around it. I just hope he isn't one of those kings who executes subjects for reasons beyond their control...

Grewie attempts to schedule an appointment with the king.

"Your Majesty? I did some research on that long-distance scrying device you wanted me to create. It seems that few have ever been created, but I have discovered how to make one myself." He took a deep, nervous breath. "The problem is, it requires many expensive components. I am uncertain of the exact total cost, but I believe it would cost in the tens of pounds. If I cannot get these components, I simply cannot create the device."

I'm not sure about using our Aspects of Time on disposable items. It strikes me that Sand of Time isn't exactly...common. Or cheap.

<Nice pun, Nanako...Nuriel, can you tell her what I said?>
<Hey, Nanako? Angel just complimented you. I'd rather not say on what...>
<That makes it sound bad!>

((I don't know why its continuing past the point which Irony states its his game, and the rules are pretty defined from that standpoint...
((Because you people keep insisting that the wrong was all on me, when it was in fact shared.))

It's pretty clear there a-))
((Didn't help that Irony never bothered to explain that I was wrong. You all tried, but you're not the GM so I didn't pay much attention to your interpretation of the rules.))
((:/

I'm really feeling a strawman coming from you GWG. We all tried, and our words also matter in the way that Irony's not arguing on them.
[/quote]
((It's his game. I feel justified in not believing others' interpretations when the GM's own statements seem to contradict them.))

However if you'd like a real life example of minor gods and their uses, I would love to point you to Greek and Roman mythology.
((...Germane, how?))

Quote
...But really. That last post? Reeks of logical fallacies against IronyOwl.  :-\ You need to be clearer with your words for one, and at least explain your pseudo-snark threats that I see there.))
((It was an attempt to explain why I thought what I thought and felt how I felt.
It was also a product of my eternal mistake of debating at a far later hour of the night than when I'm perfectly rational.))

Nanako, seeing the others transform, summon a card that she break in her hand, manifesting in a huge red undead thing behind her...
Cardcaptor Nanako?
I freely admit to not knowing much about the Cardcaptor Sakura series beyond "It's a magical girl series with cards that summon things".
Sorry to ruin the (incredibly moe) pun, but that's how the Persona 4 main characters summon their Personas/Personae/whatever term you prefer.
Oh.

I think Kyle and Maria are the only ones still adversely affected by Matt's "death", to be honest.
Or everyone else is just trying to forget about it for now.
Or it's been swept under the rug with the whole "murderous aliens invading" thing.

"Face judgement from above!" Conny flies as high as she can in the cave and shoots a light arrow into the things exposed back.

<okay... mine was terrible too.>
<No, that wasn't so bad. It implies an angelic quality, but you are far more angelic than anyone here.>
<You've never met an actual angel, have you?>
<Closest thing is myself.>

I'd say the dungeon-delving idea. It is more of a...sustainable and certain wealth-gain.
