"You take it correctly. I am Bitesti, this is Aria, and this is Kyle, who claims to know the way out. It's not showing."

Actual battle music
No more Truth-or-Dare?

Nanako, seeing the others transform, summon a card that she break in her hand, manifesting in a huge red undead thing behind her...
Cardcaptor Nanako?
I freely admit to not knowing much about the Cardcaptor Sakura series beyond "It's a magical girl series with cards that summon things".

you freaking idiots did it again.  :P
Naturally, she broke right after I went to bed.

Kyle is threatening DR with a flogging nothing weird here.
More concrete than Angel's threats.

Well.
The good new is that Selina isn't psycho.
The bad news is, RangerCado was inspired by the Chernobyl comment.
Good luck setting up the sarcophagus.
I finally got back at Cado for inspiring all those horrible Nuriel things!
Or he got back at me...or something...

You realize you opened the floodgates for shipping Demons Run and Selina, right?
...and now my soul is gone because theres my dream tonight. *sigh* Freaking bay12.
*pats Cado on the back*
It's okay. There are worse dreams. Have you ever had a dream that it's just you in an infinite void?
Kinda dull, once you get over the panic of not being able to do anything.

I wonder what RangerCado meant exactly by 80%... specifically, what the remaining 20% results in.
you will see in time... and by that i mean pretty much the end of combat when someone wakes her up.
On a related note...you know how Angel stayed too long when Demons Run was "fixing" Selina?
That has an actual permanent effect that should be discovered later this in-game day...

Selina screams again as images of whips and knives and a tongue rush through her head, about 5 minutes leaking to everyone else.
Angel mind-screamed. Nuriel grinned slightly.

<She's better now.>
<She had better be...>

]"You shoot yourself summon your?" Nanako asks.
<I gotta agree, that's pretty weird. Um, Nuriel?>
"Angel agrees that Rhad is weird."

As noted, Nuriel fires a bolt of...fire...from her finger at the shapeshifter.
"I've found a hole in your defenses--being attacked!"
<...That was horrible.>
<You come up with a better one.>
<Silence would have been wittier, for starters.>

Yuri is getting a mite embarrassed.
Only?

<So what color do you think Yuri's panties are?>
<...What?>
<I'm guessing red.>
<Huh?>
<It seems a very "her" color.>

((Ninja'd by the same guess.))

I see breaking someone as a personality thing, Up to the players on how far they can go. And think about it this way, if you show someone how they'd break you in a condesed half a second, how stable do you think they'll be?
I'm going to go with "What is 'Chernobyl'?"
...i don't get it.
Answer style of Jeopardy.
Chernobyl was an old nuclear reactor in Soviet Russia that was unstable due to outdated security measures and experiments being tested. It melted down. It was kinda famous.

Also, do you guys want a relapse? seriously your getting close
Oh no...

No I'm trying to do damage control and everyone seems dead set on breaking her again.
As noted, Angel's not good at keeping secrets. She's just naturally honest, especially to people she cares about.

<<Private to everyone but Selina:>Yeeeeeah, note: Not ENTIRELY sure I got all of it. But hopefully I got enough to... take the edge off? Worst case, she develops a few weird kinks a few weeks down the line that she might have anyway.>
<<Accidentally Public:> That...sounds bad.>

<...Yes?>
<Shut up.>
<Sorry! I'm just...bad at keeping secrets...>
<We know.>
<It doesn't seem right! Especially since we're trying to hide from Selina what just happened to her!>
<Angel?>
<...Yes?>
<Shut up.>

<Um... okay...>

Selina gives a strained smile, a null throbing in her head.

<Whats... um... going on exactly...? I thought it was my turn.>
<Oh, yeah, it was your turn when Demons--oops. Guys, I'm not good at keeping secrets...can we please tell Selina? I'm going to let it slip and it's going to be a lot worse and Selina's going to go back to how she was and it'll be my fault...> Angel is on the verge of mind-tears.

((Sorry if I refused to accept your over-simplified view of ecology.
((My over-simplified implementation of ecology in my game, you mean?
Apology accepted.))
((I believe this falls under "playing field confusion".))

Quote
Sorry if I didn't understand matters you didn't explain clearly.
((If you mean overall, I was more than willing to explain them if you asked, and you got no shortage of clues when you assumed.
If you mean once the explanations started, feel free to quote areas where I had a chance to explain things and failed, then explain how you'd have explained them and thus resolved the issue.))
((Let's start with the core issue: How I thought that you were going to have us make every little species.
I would have explained that you didn't have to make every little species. Possibly by saying something like:
"Hey, GWG, you don't actually need to make every little species. We're going to assume that it's present in the regions."))

Quote
Sorry if I assumed you mentioning that there were no bacteria or such until we made them meant that we had to make bacteria.
((This was indeed a crippling attitude.))
((And not one you tried to correct.))

Quote
Sorry if I interpreted your statements that a few more creations would make everything hunky-dory and stuff like that as meaning that you were mostly ignoring the problem, and that I didn't interpret that as "The problem you were trying to address doesn't exist".
((You should be. Since I'm the one in charge of implementing any problems that exist, assuming that I'm ignoring problems I'm then going to spring on you is rather insulting.))
((You seemed inconsistent.))

Quote
Sorry if I interpreted your simplified-ecology arguments as the start of an ecology debate.
((Would have been understandable on its own, but you never stopped referencing them in a game sense. It wasn't just "that's not how it works," it was "but then this'll happen!"))
((From your saying that there were no bacteria, as opposed to saying "We aren't tracking bacteria" or "There are no notable bacteria" or ideally something like "Hey, don't worry about bacteria," it made me think that you actually cared about the lack of bacteria.))

Quote
Sorry if you failing to actually say, "Hey! GWG! That's not how it works!" until well into the debate meant that I thought you were defending the system I thought you had rather than...whatever it is you were actually doing.

What were you doing, anyways?))
((I already told you. I linked you a prime example. I was saying "No, GWG, that's not how it works" over and over and over and over.
((Evidently not about the right things, as shown by the fact that the debate went on with me still clueless as to how the system worked.
Maybe explaining how the system works instead of how it doesn't would have helped.))

Quote
Look at the worm example. Tell me how I should have phrased that debacle so that you'd have understood that that's not how it works.))
((We shouldn't have gotten into the debacle. If I were you, I would have explained not that you only needed grass, worms, deer, and wolves, but rather that you didn't need to worry about creating anything else.
Actually, if I were you I would have said that you only had to worry about creating deer and wolves, but the idea is the same.))

The idea of some kind of Horrbile Omnicidal Eldritch Abomination is hardly Perplexicon-specific.

Ask Xantalos.

((Amare's just overthinking it, probably. Don't pay much attention.))
