Speaking of things, though, did we ever try that stupid thing with hitting the save point while in a different room? I don't think it's going to work, but it's worth making sure and determining exactly how, when, and why it fails.+1
While we're at it, we should see how long it takes to get from one place to another in combat terms. Have two people fighting while another runs to a target room and back.Sure, why not?

Yes, yes, they're death incarnate and attacking one will result in Goom-bess being sliced like an onion. But think of if we could get it! Not only does it probably do respectable damage, it'd be stained with the dark bloodthirst and underworld-beckoning powers of its ilk!
In fact, we could switch our title to dwarven and then combine it with our headless spear to make a truly horrifying scythe of reaping for anything mechanical.
