Better one would be "Yeah, you know how your mom used to tell you stories about how the bogyman would come and steal you away if you did bad things? Yeah. She's that to demons."

The difference being that the Bogeyman didn't rampage across the world killing people.
And I suppose Nuriel knew Angel would laugh that analogy off.


EDIT: And here I was worried about Nuriel being a demon when Demons Run is the spirit that made the universe...

Let me put it to you this way: Imagine that Demon's Run is like Hitler, except a Hitler that has super-powers and personally killed the Jews and smashed up a bunch of whatever country Jews live in. And now imagine that you're a Jew.
