I'm sorry... It must be hard being away from home. Do you know a way you could lessen the affects? Or is it something to do with your emotions? Anything that could help Angel i'm willing to do.
Um...I'm not sure. Never intended to go the possessing route, planned to be more by-the-book. If I could leave somehow, that would be great, but I've been basically put on Angel arrest for the duration of my exile or Angel's innocence--probably the latter. I'd suggest talking to someone more knowledgeable in demonlore. And don't you dare tease my ignorance on the subject! I probably know more about human physiology and psychology than you do.
"It was to Shys'm Caes. Someone who I have known for some time, who you have not met."
"Oh. I'm guessing it's not a human?"
She nods. "You may."
She stands up, turning her back to them and lifting up her shirt, not revealing anything scandalous, but showing them a complex, labyrinthine design upon her back, thousands and thousands of smaller patterns spread across it, each interlocking with the others to form an intricate circle, what appear to be jagged letters actually moving across her skin within it.
"Wow. That's...interesting."
Angel listened to the question Yuri asked, glad she didn't have to answer. She understood the importance of all of those other sentient species--quintillions, maybe hexillions of individuals--and couldn't understand why anyone would consider sacrificing all that for one other person.
Especially, she thought,
because losing all of those would inevitably mean the loss of the one--in the long run, even if they were spared the universal genocide. But then, she wasn't Conny, she didn't understand what brought them together on such a basic level, made them feel incomplete without each other. The closest Angel had to that was Selina or her parents, and any of them--all of them--she would gladly give up for the sake of the universe. And Angel would be furious if she discovered any of them had sacrificed all of them just for her sake.
Angel had a lot to learn.
