"How is it a good idea to have your armies ready to fight in case the enemy has more to fight with then they let on? Why don't you tell me."
"You're the one who wants to prepare for reinforcements. The only thing that comes to mind is holding units in reserve, which impacts our current combat ability and would not help much in many circumstances, compared to the cost."

"...I see."
Angel was quiet for a moment.
"...So, do you know what this mine they were talking about earlier was?"

"And it promotes the destruction of the persons in the family as a whole if you must live for people you a told to live for and not for yourself."
"Why? People are still people if they're not sure who their parents are."

"The continued prosperity and security of the family. And to a lesser extent to eventually control the world from behind the scenes, but that is becoming less important now... We are already rather close, and a few years either way will make little difference if the world is lost."
"...Huh. Is Demons Run part of this?"

Most of us are still on the forum default.

I've never had the incentive to set it higher.

Angel tries to reach over to Kyle, [18+5v20] and gives up. "Kyle, that's really mean."

"What do you propose, trying to think of every half-possible measure and plan for it? If we plan for anything that could happen, we're weaker against what does happen. Stick to what's probable."

I'm not entirely sure how many times I have to say this. Two thirds of our party are gon' be ded if we don't go.

"That is intriguing. Did they simply not keep the records?"

Throwing acid at the ground of the big wisp would have been a great idea, instead of putting our strongest weapon there.
Why?
Wisps float.
How can one pound the ground in such a way to make dust fly if the ground is not hit? If the dust flies, I'd wager the acid would too. Really, the acid idea was pretty golden... Can't we do that now though? I mean, he's jumping again to where we are, why not try that now?
Buy a helium balloon. Push downward on it a lot. Eventually, it will touch the ground. Do this faster. Assuming it didn't pop, it probably hit the ground. And yet (assuming it didn't pop), let go and it will float back up. Just because something doesn't always float doesn't mean it never does.
