Well, if Nuriel broke Selina you can bet there would be a reckoning, but then the cause would be the questioning and not the breaking, so...

A fake break... A little support from Maria or Yuri and I think i can make something happen. Especially when Yuri is also curious about Nuriel.

That...could well work. Assuming you kept it hidden from Angel, she's not a very good liar. Especially when she's lying to someone in her head.

(And a while ago, I imagined Nuriel becoming a double-agent with the Layar (in exchange for safety for herself and assorted others in the group, wealth and such, and being separated from Angel), but now that I've nailed down Nuriel's nature it wouldn't happen.)
