>They trust her not to blow everything up.<
More impressive is that they trust her to stop anyone else from blowing everything up.
"Really? I thought you were part of the stormtrooper corp. No, I knew you'd pilot a mech. But you look what, twelve?""Ten, actually."
What, your parents won't mind?
Maria's asked me to ask you for permission to hold the meeting at her house. Okay with you?
((How did Stella contact Will? Phone call? Text?))Quote from: From Stella to WillHey, there appears to be another pressing issue that since I am here anyway I'm gonna help. Bartimaeus has gone to New York and is in trouble
((and now i need to go to bed damn, the action will probably start before I get up))
Oh, lovely. Well, if you meet anyone else over there, let them know that there's a meeting in Australia, okay?
Did you catch that the old group's going to be meeting tonight? I was wondering if you'd be willing to host them; if not, I'll see if we can fit them in here. Let us know soon, okay?
We still got a few minutes I guess. Why's a little sprat like you doing this, anyway?"Driving a mech. An Orca. It's kinda like a video game, except you're doing stuff to help people."
Hmm just on the topic of conspiracies (and their resources) what about characters who are themselves wealthy, I always had in the back of my mind that Stella had quite a few long term investments, still they are in the Superhero world and currency would be difficult to quickly move across that borderIndeed.
Among their members are...tiger fuckers...Actually, only one, and she's dead now.
...OR, have the guy who just punched a 3 foot thick slab of concrete in half shoot them in the stomach and then pump them full of memory erasing drugs so that they forget being afraid of the ARM, and possibly their childhood.I don't remember that option coming up...
Fairly certain if it's revealed they did that shit would be stirred. If people noticed, definitely. However, having magic in a muggle's world can stop that pretty easily.
Did anyone tell you that you take the fun out of things?Only if your fun requires game-breaking illogical organizations that give your character tons of resources because he happens to be part of the ruling family.
Mostly because the VAST majority of the family are indoctrinated to live by the simple rule that anything and everything is an acceptable sacrifice for the good of the family.Oh, brainwashing.
Those are the ones that tend to get the important positions.
It still needs a complete explanation of how many points she gets per absorbed damage...1:1
Who wants nightmares?...
Hmm. I sorta want SERT to drop in and play whack-a-mole with a few wraiths (which will hopefully get michael more or less roped in) until the PC's arrive. What does SERT stand for, anyways?
Which town?Quote from: Kyle>AshleyOkay, I'm going to park on the edge of the town border and then ride in a get stuff for a, well it's not a road trip more of a zeppelin trip than anything.Kyle does just that.
Also, wouldn't anti-magic only stop teleports initiated from within the field?Well then she obviously teleports inside and does as I said. Unless somehow that's stopped.Oh right, Ashley was white listed for the Ryan's field, forgot about that.
IRIS used to acquire funds through donations from rich people. Why did they donate?
And that's a lot of money. For what, artificial limbs and luxury pets? Not all that much, especially not if it wants to avoid going bankrupt while funding expensive secure containment/research procedures. How do they pay for all of that? And that's not getting into their quasi-legal military-level stuff...
Shit, this is going to be one of those epic destructive battles, isn't it?Not much to destroy in New York.
Epic battle needs epic music."Red Like Roses Pt II" would work well, too. Especially since Bartimaeus is grieving a lost loved one.
It's not that, really. You have two conflicting sides of lore: Akroma's lore, and Rag's lore. Rag's lore mainly focuses on the void as a while while Akroma's focuses on the entities of the void. And then there's all the little grains that don't fit in either but that people crammed in anyways.
PN's song wins. It is now the official boss battle theme of The Wraith Lord Shade.Too little, too late.
