The only thing we can think of is that you wanted the inhabitants of Mitheraria to band together to stop the Caged One, but that doesn't make any sense.

Regarding Pigsend, it is listed under "Your Lands," since it is technically in your county now, and not nearby.
...Ah.

Words.

Locate Derm. Locate the guy trying to kill Derm. Different Words at the latter, not the former.

Spoiler: Stephen S. Blackpool (click to show/hide)

((The first question being in italics was supposed to show that it was him remembering what he had asked. So can we ignore the first part of that?))

"Well, here's hoping that you do. It is a story that begins in a far-off land..."
Tell Phiali's story again, from the battle in which he discovered the True God to the present. Try to make the Quest for Water sound less...pathetic.

Would it be considered impolite to ask why you made it in the first place?

In your mansion, you search through your clothes.
Is William wearing the clothes or is he just inspecting them before he puts them on? I really don't want to have William obliviously attend the King's birthday naked just because I was under the wrong impression :P
He in his silk pajamas that all rich people have, looking in his drawers/wardrobe for something suitable to wear.
Good thing I asked, otherwise I would have just have gotten William to stroll out and head towards the location of the party XD
You have to admit, that would be pretty funny.
I was half tempted to hint at the king being gay and that he intentionally keeps a force of young attractive males in the guard just for some eye candy.
I'd advise you to do that, but I suspect that whatever we're doing requires the full six.

I think we should stay in Feroshire. Mal, can you add a poll to let us vote on it?
Nah, once you do you can never take it off.

I wouldn't be surprised to discover that the "someone" who has died is the game.

"Ass, sin and engineers", for instance, seems translated from 'officers, seamen and engineers'.
The jokes here are too obvious.
Translate it. I really didn't mess with it.
I'm aware of that.
That doesn't make the jokes less obvious.

A) first off lets make sure that we secure that letter of our appointment in a safe place.
Ooh, good point.

B) I'm not quite sure about moving our court to Curbiston, while its the stronger location and has been the county seat for a long time, it will also be hit by the searaiders before Feroshire is. Having our family there doesn't sound like the ideal environment to raise kids.
Again, chat with others who it affects before moving.

Quote
C) We should get our vassals together and throw a sober celebration, impress on them the situation and the need for the lords of the land to actively bring the county back to prosperity and ready for war. We should also mourn the loss of Arthur and the Foles line.
Sounds like a plan.

Quote
D) about the Bandit king... Maybe we should parley before deciding upon eradicating them. The Rat should probably dig up some information about the man if he can, and I'm hopeful we can offer the bandits a career change rather than a bloody death. They have fended for themselves at the cost of others, but times have been dark indeed. Perhaps they could form a mercenary company, they may be a little too prone to corruption to incorporate into the military as is.
My thoughts similarly.

E) with all the war going on I'm sure there are refugees around. Perhaps we should keep some riders up to find these refugees and integrate them into the county in an orderly fashion.
if we don't tend to the refugees they'll just be food for the bandits or turn to banditry themselves.
Sounds like a good idea, if we can spare the men. Maybe that could be a job for the rookie troops or something?

((I've been at odd with the King?))

Well. This was certainly interesting.

Open the invitation before I get my hopes too high.

Why is everyone so gungho about taking over the county?
Because he is entitled to taxes from lesser lords. period.
What?
Its not really about taking over it. But rather to keep it out of the hands of other corrupt lords.
Dude. The only other two lords we know are cool guys. We'll be fine.
Emphasis added.
I don't think I need to say more...except maybe "Owen" and "the first Foles".

I. C.
Is it IC to learn from experience that bad Counts are bad? The only (previous) Count we've gotten along with is the one we put there.

But now we're Count. We have been promoted three times. Ah ah ah.

Shouldn't Pigsend be in the "Nearby" spoiler?

In any case, let's consider our options before we go charging off to war. Firstly, Pigsend. How much of a chance do you think a messenger there would have of returning?
