It wouldn't be that bad.

There's waitlisting heroes, so the first group would just be an interesting historical sidenote to be turned into a historical comedy several decades down the line.

Gretchen decided to put this laptop on her arm, surprised to see that it worked. She opened it, and it promptly started up. She looked at the various icons on the screen--aside from the normal ones, there were a few off to one side with insectoid icons and names like "Thaumatological Analysis" and "Summon Arthropod Swarm". Selecting one labeled "Transformation," Gretchen felt a strange itching sensation inside of her. She watched as a number of some sort of insect crawled out of and over her, coating her with a coating of these tiny vermin. She felt them crawling inside of her, too. Naturally, Gretchen screamed.

Less than a minute later, it was over. She was now dressed in a blue-and-black dress, and while she still felt the insects crawling inside of her a bit, they weren't restless or anything. She stood up.
"...Now what?"

((I just realized how horrifying this could be as I was typing it. So I decided, why not?))

how would that work? Wouldn't Angel also be knocked out? Alternatively, we could get Selina or Ghost to draw something like a pair of bracelets that would allow the wearers to utilize eachothers willpower. In this scenario, stop Nuriel from taking control.
