Interesting idea, but it needs tweaking to not be weak. Like, 3.5-Monk weak.
You've been playing with the wrong monks, 3.5 monk is not weak.
I'm not much good at optimization, but from what I hear the lack of synergy, poor combat abilities in general, and MAD make it pretty weak. Of course, it lacks spells, which makes it weak...but it's more so than most.

that power honestly seems overpowered to me. all you have to do is have two people take that trait then they rap battle each other every single turn. one of them will gain a stat point and a new item every single time, and the other one wont lose anything.
...Point. The trait would probably instead increase the reward.

Also, it's stupid.

Step forward.

Stab him with the arrow. Probably between the legs.

"Fellows, I would ask of you that you leave the task of celestial bodies and all matters arcane to me. Populate the planet with life, or fix the atmosphere, or some other matter. I assure you, it shall be handled with great care. If you wish, you may aid me in my venture."
"If you want that as your task, do it. Also, not likely."

Auphanim spins languidely. "Shush children, the grownups are talking."
"I was about to criticize them for being petty, but now I am firmly on their side. Why are you so...arrogant?"

"HMPH! You maggots've got no power on your own 'cause you're worthless on your own. Would've thought that'd be obvious.

And if you want me to care about your vaunted opinions, gimme a reason to. 'My feelings are hurt and I want you to do things for me' ain't gonna cut it, Mortal."

"You're not much better. Now quiet while I work on moons. Then life.

"Oh, and I'd like to draw your attention to the last three words of your 'explanation'..."

"Reign of terror? What have we truly done to you minor gods beyond bruise your horribly overgrown egos?"
"It's not just 'ego-bruising', it's dismissing us as though we were merely thoquas. We are gods, medamn it, and we won't be pushed around like that. Treat us fairly, and I'll do the same for you...Treat you fairly, I mean."

"Hmpf. So very deluded. If you continue refusing to listen to simple facts, then I suppose I shan't bother with another wasted word.

Please do inform me if you come up with an argument that might actually be convincing."

"Will you discriminate against me because I showed up late to the party, so to speak? I think not.

And if anyone cares...Auphanim has told be a bit of his 'plan'. Shall I share it, or shall he agree to be fair to us 'Minor' Gods?"

((Funny me, expecting that the forum defaults are the default.
And I've never cared enough to find out how to change them.

(Note to self: When making my report, leave out the spells...Grewie was probably just nervous. Yeah, that's it.)

"I, personally, desire peace. The king seems to be preparing for war, although whether this is because he wants war or he thinks it is coming I do not know. I was hoping to determine why it had increased so we could solve the issue. Do you know who could be responsible for the demands?"

I don't think revealing our identity is an option here. These guys are thieves who are already hostile to us, and revealing that our corpse is very valuable just gives them a compelling reason to become a long-term threat. Our options are to bluff our way our or evade them using illusions, any which of those we should go with depends on the situation (see questions above).
Well, seeing as only the leader sees us as a human, I don't think not (at least partly) revealing our identity is an option.
Besides, what fool messes with a dragon when they are so crunchy and taste good with ketchup?
Especially a baby one?

In many settings, a significant number of people think that certain types of beings are Always Chaotic Evil.
We'll prove them wrong.
Lots of people hold quite tightly to their beliefs as to who is or is not always evil. Even to people who are not like that, proving ourself non-evil against their expectations requires a provable record of good (or at least definitely not evil) behavior, which takes time to build up, which requires us to not be killed before then.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. It does not, however, begin with a leap in the opposite direction. Let's begin the journey ASAP.

Let's use wheels.
There's actually a reason you see no wheels whatsoever in nature. First, a wheel requires two completely separated objects, which by definition are different organisms. Second, wheels are pretty terrible if you don't have roads, which don't have nearly the self-interest required to naturally be evolved.
Treads
Those have the same separation issue.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Acquire limited anemone-like movement.
Anemones aren't attached to the seafloor via big rocky structures.

Develop the ability to extend the proboscis far and quick. With serrated pincers.
Dig deeper into the seafloor for protection
Harden shell with rock detritus

Develop the ability to 'fire' offspring out of the birthing thing, causing them to disperse.
Perhaps have the offspring be mobile for a while until they find a suitable spot?

I'd like to note that that last one has precedence in the real world.

Uhm guys, Slog is canned. Put in a bus, whatever.
Dead.
Also, it's put on a bus, and that requires the busee to be alive.
Slog, being gelatinous, could totally be buried in a tin can.
Also, his bus terminology could be totally correct if the bus is literally fueled by Slog's corpse!
Remember, Slog is an endless supply of gasoline.
There's something wrong with that last line.
Dopamine isn't gasoline. If it was, mold would be gold and people who left their bread out too long would be annoyed by the valueless yellow metal covering their food.

... Couldn't we just go to the tipkeeper and ask if she knows how to revive slog/mercenaries/illborn/whatever else we need to revive?
No. Ask Al, once we save Al!

... Couldn't we just go to the tipkeeper and ask if she knows how to revive slog/mercenaries/illborn/whatever else we need to revive?
Cannot we use that one question which caused her physical pain repeatedly in order to gain a discount? We have enough class points for that.

And it will be completely up to everyone else how this goes because I am a completely stumped on which way it should go.
Chaos theory plays heavily into this. When Selina's mom comes in, who's around, and the moods of other players that day factor into the result heavily.

Also, is it weird that i picture everyones characters when i see their user name? Because seeing GWG as a little girl of total cuteness is a bit... worrying for me...
...I'm a little disturbed if this extends beyond this forum game...

I'm just wondering why we have the Irish barbarian as the hero.
I vote process of elimination.

We're bored really, we want to get through the combat so we can RP again.
Or at least for the next turn of combat. We can banter.
A little combat banter is fun. A lot of combat banter is just silly.

Nyeh. I'm thinking if I should finish adding characters to the list or let GWG and anyone else add theirs.
Angel/Nuriel isn't on there? Huh.

You need to put at least 1 into Normal-Form Magic.

Done with the edits. XD

Yuri is quickly developing into a Yamato Nadeshiko, to round out our selection of nice, sweet, unassuming characters that go just completely NUTS under pressure :P
We are SUCH a variably-functional team.
