Now, I must know. How does Superman shave!?
Oil rig fires.
Isn't Superman completely immune to fire?

I know what the newspapers headline going to be.
Something about magic?

No strip poker. Keep it at least slightly SFW, if risqué.
Agreed. Especially since small children are part of the cast. There's one major character who isn't even a year old!

Sleep tight. (I need to hit the hay too)
So...no roll for the quality of Angel's angel tonight?

And stats updated.

((Sorry, issues, hopefully they'll be cleared up soon...I guess Nuriel was distant.))

"W-we Layars are actually not that different from human on the inside. The only ones I remember it that we are cold blooded, nearly everyone is born magic capable and we have scales, P-probable because ours p-planet are quite similar to earth."
Nuriel felt a twinge in her head as she heard this. It was Angel's semi-conscious knee-jerk reaction to this.

Anima slaps Gintama
And Nuriel retroactively helps!

Selina looks at a clock on the wall (surprisingly not broken) and sees the time.
"OH NO! Angel! we need to get you home before your parents come looking for you!" Selina then looks around the house... or whats left of it.
"Um... uh... c-can anyone spare a... a place to sleep tonight...? I-I don't really have a... a place anymore..." Selina is Nervous and blushing, not feeling comfortable staying somewhere else.
"Uh... yeah... I'll need to join Selina where ever she ends up too. It'll be both of our first sleep overs!" Conny smiles as she grabs a larger sweater from a closet door and puts it on, dusting it off and providing a nice cover over her wings.
Nuriel gets a huge headache, and turns back into Angel.
"Yeah, I really need to get home!"

A teenage dressed in a red and orange outfit best as musketeer-like(brown hair, not white) land nearby.

"Are you lot okay? Selina? Angel? Maria?"
Angel was about to ask who this was, but the question was answered before she could get over her...shock, I guess?

In any case, Angel went home, a bit sad that Conny and Selina couldn't have a sleep-over. Angel would have even given Selina her bed! But she wanted to be with Maria instead. They probably knew each other beforehand. Or maybe it's because of how much they liked each other.
Regardless, Angel got home about five minutes before dinner, showed her parents the pictures, and ate. Afterwards, she went to her room. Normally, she read, but tonight, she split her time between two things:

1. Drawing a picture. It started out as a picture of a person--mostly like Selina, but with Conny's arms and Ghost's face and hair--but then she was surprised by a passing car's horn, added a stray line, and spontaneously decided to turn that stray line into a wing. When it was finished, it looked like an angel, dressed in a tight T-shirt and a pair of jeans. (Could scapheap please roll for quality?)
2. Thinking. What should they do? Probably they should have left already, but Angel did promise that she would be home for dinner, and being halfway across the country would impair that...

By bedtime, Angel had decided on one thing she had to do. She had to tell her parents. She was going to be gone for much of the day, probably multiple days, and she might even miss school. Her teachers were going to want to know why they had to send Angel's homework home, weren't they? And her parents should know, too.
When her mother came to tuck Angel in, Angel said, "Um...Mother, I have something to tell you..."
"Does it have something to do with your new friend, that Selina girl?"
"Well, yes...and something that was on the news tonight...probably on every channel..."
"...Um...was she involved with that meth lab the police raided?"
"No! It was...well...the house that got destroyed..."
"I knew it was familiar! Where's she staying? We could spare a bed."
"...Another...friend's...house...but, that's not the important part. The important part is why the house got destroyed. I...kinda might have had a part in some of the firey stuff..."
"What are you saying?"
Nuriel got an idea. You know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words...and the picture of Angel's mother, open-mouthed as her five-year-old daughter became a wavy-haired teenager very much not in footie pajamas.
"So, you're Angel's mom...probably mine, too, I haven't figured out how that all works yet. I expected you to look more like her. You're probably the one that gave her the brains, though, right? So, how're you tonight?"
Angel's mother was silent with shock.
"Oh, hey, I'm Nuriel, Angel's magical-girl alter ego."
"M-m-magic?"
"Yep! Here, lemme show ya!" Nuriel enthusiastically and theatrically snapped her fingers and conjured a little flame, carefully avoiding setting anything on fire and ignoring the minor headache she was slowly developing.
Angel's mother replied with a thump, due to fainting. This caused Angel to snap back. "Mom! Are you okay?"
After about twenty nerve-wracking seconds, her mother awoke. "Huh...um..."
Angel remembered something. "Hey, Mother, can I please go and see Selina again tomorrow?"
"Um...sure...just let me know where she's staying."
"Um..." This hadn't occurred to her. Where did Maria live? Wherever it was, it was probably somewhere Angel's mother wouldn't raise an eyebrow at...nor at the gathering of weird magical people.
"Can I borrow your phone?" Angel's mother, still a little stunned from the half-remembered magic, handed it over. Angel called Selina.

Speaking of sessions, what did we get done last time? Other than the vital task of determining which of us could beat the Martian Manhunter, of course.

Also, one of the two can just back off. Not all animal fight to the death.
In that case, our hopeful contingency never comes up so our contingency plan doesn't matter.

Sorry about not posting earlier, I've had issues lately that will make posting and other internet access sporadic for a while. If all goes as it should, I should have it resolved soon...but if all went as it should, I would have had it solved so fast no one would have noticed.

"Um...yes, please?"

Now, I must know. How does Superman shave!?
Several possibilities.
1. Kryptonian metal shard
2. A sharp piece of that kind of Kryptonite that just nullifies his powers
3. Super-speed plucking
4. Scratching the hairs off
5. Magical razors
6. Somehow concentrate a red star's light on the base
7. Super-Depiliation (which makes more sense than some of the powers he's been shown to have).

He shaves by magical razor. Magic is the only thing that can cut him without giving him severe weakness....

...and I just realized something. Superman would actually lose against Personas. Or magic girls.
Definately against Selina/Ghost. She'd just draw kryptonite.
Or Anima. Does 'Obliteration' mean anything to you? :P
...Give me an estimate, how much of Selina's house will remain intact after this? Or should she just start looking for a new house altogether?
...Yeah, the latter's a good idea. Or maybe apply for a government grant or something to pay for it. Or hope her parents' insurance covers magical girls.

wait&see. If the mother is killed, kill the other adult and grab the kiddies.
Well, this makes sense, but we only have ONE spear.
Well...
A. As noted, it would be easy to grab the other.
B. After the fight, chances are both will be injured, which will make it much easier to kill the usurper...who is also smaller than average for ridgebacks.

Roll To Dodge / Re: Dragon RTD Rawr: (5/6 players)

Story: (Since you start as a hatchling, you don’t have a story of your own yet. Instead this is the story of your parents, as it will greatly change your start. Will your parents take care of you and your brothers in their cave, letting you grow and learn safely? Will they leave you in the wilderness, forcing you to quickly adapt to the life of a predator? Will you be born in a city, eventually becoming a trained battle dragon like your parents? Will your father be a powerful magician and teach you all that there is to know about sorcery? Be creative.)
The action starts before your dragon develops a personality. Of course, you'll want to steer your character in a certain direction, but I need to know the situation in which the dragon was born in to write the first turns. How do you plan to make her skilled at magic? Was her father skilled at magic? Did she find a book in her parents treasure trove? Do her parents live in a huge abandoned library? Was she raised by a human wizard? "Story" should be something like that.
Aah. I had misunderstood some stuff. I'll go fix it.

((Thanks to the eternal plague of the world--real life--I am only now able to post a response.))

Inform the Blades of what the King said and head out. With the mandated reduced escort.

Try to grab something nearby to use as a weapon. The chair I grabbed earlier, if possible.

Defend self.

"It fills the stomach and is nutritious, is it not?"

28708
Riltia has DFS, right? If she's in any way bound, couldn't she just break free?
DFS isn't Kryptonian. She could be in chains or something.
But yes, if she was bound in certain ways and then abandoned, she could easily escape.

Hmm... Would it be possible to get a trait that'd give me a bonus when I kill someone in the name of justice(or, in self defense, I guess. But justice sounds better), but subtracts from an attribute when I kill someone without provocation?
That sounds like a nice idea. The only question is, how would I objectively determine when such a thing is?

((you could always get a Mk.II at a bargain price *hint hint, nudge nudge*))
((If it wouldn't occur and wasn't suggested to Grate, there's no reason he would do it, so I won't. Thankfully, Feyri is helping.))

"Where would I get some of those?"
