Play With Your Buddies / Turn Actual Turn [17]
« on: June 01, 2013, 12:55:02 pm »
(Aside from an inexplicably unsuccessful attempt to tame a Sea Lord, this started off as did the last, so we'll just pick off about where we left off.)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

What now? We're right about in the middle of Green, so unless we kill a village or two we'll be Shamanic.

Owlbread, the Situation of the Colonies will crop up later in the game...although you can try and make your own party centering around the independence of German Colonies i don't really see a point in a One-Issue-Party.
Do you see the point of an anti-Masonic party?

He's going to be casting a lot of misfires...

Continued Journals

We recovered. While the troops gathered supplies from near the destroyed enemy village (waste not, want not, no?), Okahili made a shack and filled it with wooden horns. Good kid. He and his brother Linatt, who just came into adulthood, gathered a gift for the nearby Cyans. I suppose they didn't like having their fathers at war while they grew up. The deaths probably didn't help...

Some wounded warriors got patched up by the [women? doctors?], grabbed maracas, and went fishing. I think one just stuck his torch underwater. I'm not sure if another did that even, I later saw someone with a burning maraca. The other warriors grabbed some digeridoos, and we were ready. Before we left, I saw something horrid across the lake...

A monster with a snout the size of a mighty warrior, four deadly feet, arms tipped with spikey bludgeons meant to kill quickly, an organ on its tail to fire poisoned spikes at enemies out of range of its fangs, feet, and those bludgeon things. Terrifying. It had left by the time I called the others over, but the dead jaydenin and the footprints by the nest were unmistakeable...cold as this sounds, at least it's Brown Village's problem and not ours.

We prepared our band...

And now Spore is causing computer issues somehow and I'll probably lose all my progress.

Russia and Turkey. Well, looks like we've got the Juggernaut, but no one to 'Naut against.

Is anyone else interested?

(Hastur luk: 6+6)
Hastur's waiver becomes a hypnotist's watch arcing with lightning. The bolts from it are powerful enough to burn his hand slightly, but he can feel his flesh repairing itself instantly the moment it is burned. The watch seems to be ticking slower than normal, but Hastur can't tell whether this is because its made him faster or slowed down time around him, so he decides that it must be a bit of both.
"Well this is bound to be... interesting. From what I see... I have regeneration... shock... and enhanced time rate of some sort. I like it~"
Grin, heading off in search of something to test just what this thing can do on. Then use the watch as a flail to smack it in the face if it looks like I can take it and isn't human.
You can take the mudfrog!
But you can't damage Ground with Electric!
What is this, Pokemon?
And everyone knows Water is weak to Electric.
If this is pokemon, the Water type's weakness would be over-ridden by the fact that Electric doesn't affect Ground.
1. I was making a joke.
2. Quiet you. :P

If nothing interesting happens, just go back and drink from the SP Fountain, and combine Acid Jar and Growth in the Skill Tree, and see what we get.
I really don't think that it is a good idea. But maybe we can combine an hp/sp potion with Growth, so that we get a healing plant!
Not sure if that's what would happen, but +1

I wonder if we can find other Skill Trees around...or even Trees of other things, like weapons...

29528
A couple people want to try diplomancy, others want to mess with the Watcher's mind. Which shall we do?

((My character's a mercenary, he won't ask for a vote. If granted, he'll voice an opinion, though.))

That's an interesting situation we got now.
And, as always, the Right and the Left leave the Moderates out of their coalitions...
This is why we have a two-party system!

Am I allowed to form a Central African Independence Party?
Go ahead. Just don't expect much support. With a good argument, maybe me.

29531
Have we considered farming Growth? See what we could sell Growth for to see if that's a viable option...next time we go to town, I guess. Unless we can do it retroactively.

As for the wisps...hm, I wonder if we could have used a bottled Wisp as a Reagent? Ah well. Let's see if we can find a way to generate more glass bottles.

Tattle. On. EVERYTHING!

And evidently Goom-Bess has both 11 and 12 HP.

There wasn't a post for a month and a half, and no turns have occurred for nearly four (and 9 pages). It's dead, Jim.
