You start by encasing the cloud of metal stuff in rock. [29,19] You do quite well, and feel confident in your ability to create things. Now, to grab that--oof! ...Huh. Your chest and part of your stomach is now made out of gold. It's tough but has give to it, like flesh and Figura, but it's still freakin' heavy! As you stand up, with help from Figura, you determine that your chest seems to be less dense (somewhat) than gold and a bit less "squishy" than flesh--it's somewhere in between the two, even more so than figurines. Now, THAT is weird.

Anyways, now that you're on your feet and figured out how to compensate for the shifted center of mass, back to work. You grab the ceramic blade carefully, both to avoid cutting yourself and to avoid falling forward from your gilded chest, and place it in the little notch on the non-bent end of the obsidian crowbar you have. Why do you have an obsidian crowbar? Because you screwed up the roll to make it blessed! Anyways, now to make it into a spear...you'll need to make the crowbar longer, the blade shorter, and the two more firmly connected.
[7+5] Well...it's more of a glaive, and it looks kinda flimsy at the joint. And the other end is bent like the crowbar. Perhaps you should make it stronger and more resilient? Good idea overall, it's not the least brittle of polearms. [28] You feel the glaive harden and become strong as steel. Excellent! Only one problem: It takes up two spots in your Hammer Inventory! You get around this by switching your guitar to said Inventory and carrying the glaive. It works.

Now, to go talk to the creature watching, whom you have called a Watcher.
"Hi, are you an Auditor of Reality?"
go away or come nearer
don't bug me you fearer
if you cannot see
what you do to me
then may the next sight you see be much clearer

"...Do you know what an auditor of reality is?"
if i knew what it was thence
i may tell you somethens
about such a being
who is not yet meing
so will you approach or go hence?

Do you stay or will you go now?

Continue strangulation with one hand, attempt to make a B9 rune on Flabort's face with the other.
You do realize that you don't have anything to write runes with? So that will not work.
Does he have any blades? He could cut Flabort and use his own blood.

Retroactively ask why Crazy Dave's isn't supporting alternate payments any more. "Was it some kind of legal issue?"

Remember what was on the island.

Drop a few shavings from some gold coins into the Tree of Creation, or a whole gold coin if shaving gold coins is illegal.
I'm pretty sure we already dropped the platonic ideal of salt we found on the tree, and even if we didn't, the platonic ideal of salt is still more valuable.
1. It wasn't mentioned.
2. It is?
This update seems to suggest so.
The BLUE POWDER is, unless you are mistaken, ESSENCE OF SALT. It is the platonic ideal of salt itself, and is very valuable.
It probably dropped out of one of these holes, so CRAZY DAVE shouldn't have any problem with you taking it.
1. It wasn't mentioned that we put any in the Tree.
2. Silver is also very valuable.
1. One of the suggestions he used for the update had putting the essence of salt in the Tree as part of the action.
2. Yes, that is true. We could go ask a merchant or someone whether or not the essence of salt is more valuable than pure gold, which would undoubtedly help us decide which to plant.
1. We never even returned to our tower in the update, or really did anything with that Tree except buy it.
2. Do that.

First things first get to somewhere that is safer than our current location. If possible grab something to use as a weapon and things that are light but valuable.

Oh dear. I'm not even sure who's being sarcastic about what anymore...I think that Nerjin's on my side, though...

29605
The current three characters are pretty good. A bit more to Robichaud would be nice, since currently he's not much more than "down-on-his-luck noble who hates the lower class", but other than that it's good.

In other news, bump.

TopHat and...superBLAST? Hm. I'm noticing a pattern...
Wait to turn back into a human.
Get dressed.

What the--

...Okay then. Just superBLAST, I think.

Rouler sur Eclaircir et Chanter: A roleplay using an elegantly simple system of dice rolls to determine the results of actions. Set in France in 1848 and inspired by Les Miserables, the players take on the roles of members of the Second French Revolution as they man the barricades or tear them down. Divided into three acts: One Day More, Night of Anguish, and Empty Chairs at Empty Tables. Will feature lyrics for unwritten songs made by your truly as well as some sporadic and badly-translated French. Multiplayer Semi-Cooperative Roleplay.
I'm not sure if that's supposed to be in this thread, since it's a RTD.
Sh! I'm making people in the main FGaR thread aware of the game!

Let's examine the posts with actions:

So, basically, everyone agrees on encasing the metal cloud in rock, making a weapon, and chatting with the Watcher. However, we're still having debates over how to make the weapon. The most common idea seems to be putting the ceramic blade on the end of the crowbar and Altering it so that it's a polearm of some kind. Probably a spear.

If anyone has any objections to these plans or wants to +1 an idea with only a couple votes, let them speak. I'll wait a bit, then update.

29610
Gah! The Republicans stole all my votes!

Speaking of whom, would they like to form a Coallition?
