1. It wasn't mentioned.Retroactively ask why Crazy Dave's isn't supporting alternate payments any more. "Was it some kind of legal issue?"I'm pretty sure we already dropped the platonic ideal of salt we found on the tree, and even if we didn't, the platonic ideal of salt is still more valuable.
Remember what was on the island.
Drop a few shavings from some gold coins into the Tree of Creation, or a whole gold coin if shaving gold coins is illegal.
Damn shopkeeper is still ripping us off.:O Really?!?
Well, People don't usually expects powerfull entities to take human form now do they, What with all the egomania and narcissism and such thats ever so common with beings like us. They'd think that we would choose something thats indicative of our power and might.Very +1. Maybe something like one of the more human-looking yuan-ti subtypes?
Besides, Who has said that we won't look strange under our coats? Our power lies in deception after all.
So why not appear as a fairly normal looking if eccentric human being, And then when we enter battle
Our coat flings open to reveal something definetly not human, Revealing something far greater than our frame suggests we are.
How about that?
Besides, We won't always have access to a host body, So this will allow us to interact with mortals a lot easier AND humans are more likely to trust us if they can see our true face(that isn't an endless screaming abyss).
A powerfull body also ain't gonna do us jack shit if we dont have the required power to use it to it's projected strength.
We should rather appear weaker than we are instead of stronger, That way our enemies will underestimate us at first encounter rather than overestimate us.
...NO.
Should we put the Ring in?
Actually, has she ever been sane?Probably not...but is anyone in the Warrens?
As for the mercenary rules:We're such horrible merce-parents! Let's keep at least one.
1. We never really used Slog as a meatshield, mostly because he wouldn't have worked well as one, given his meager HP.
2. We never disciplined Slog. We carried him around in a backpack at one point.
3. Hard Hat. Spellbook of Breeze.
4. We love Slog. We freely admit to loving Slog.
5. Letting Slog "solve" the pawn puzzle got us a neat item, the Polar Eye.
6. Hard Hat. Spellbook of Breeze.
7. Haven't broken this one yet.
Might as well be thorough and break all of the rules!
Also, we could hire that mercenary that only requires us to begin a quest. We can just send her to die if everything goes wrong.Retroactive +1
We don't have the scanner. It was with one of our companions when they fell down.I highly doubt that that was going to be Slog's Soul Star, since we found it before even adding Slog's essence and it felt wrong to put it back; and even if it was, he can live without his Soul Star as nearly every major character has so far.
Also, I think the cloner only works for things with a soul... It may be a bad idea to just run off with what's probably Slog's new soulstar. Said soulstar probably needs some soul in it, too.
E: Ninja'd by FFS. Looks like we're not going to give Slog his soulstar anytime soon.
*bimp*Wait, what?
I'll be back on it soon; my school's software from the mid 90s decided that it would help me edit my 18-page final paper down to 14 pages by deleting everything after page 4, autosaving, and crashing, leaving me to write up the remaining ten pages over again. So I've been writing that.Wow, that really sucks.
I swear, Citrix (the offending software) does this to me on purpose. It's actually skynet in disguise or something.
(can slade dig though slade?)No. It's less sharp and hard than adamantine, and adamantine can't dig slade.
Looks good. Much better than reserves...How does it look?Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Oh hey, a large tank. Let's fiddle with it, trying to put the remains in, like what the voices in your head suggest.Ciro went from Practical Fighter (which is anything but specialized) to Blood Mage (quite specialized).
((inb4 slog comes back as a she-slime))
Aw. Poor Yaos. I'm guessing he's dead-dead, he's not even in the Soul Charge meter thing to the upper right anymore. Just after I respected him for taking that shotgun to the face like a boss...Si, que sera sera, y que fue fue.
Anyway, yeah, loot all the things! Do that fancy "carry everything in our arms and be unable to be useful" thing to get it all in storage. Then get Slog's corpse/slime puddle to the Greens!...That could work, too. But Blood Bags are more elegant.
