"Hm. Worth a shot..."

See if I can hold the bucket closed. If not, search the village for (in order) bucket-repair supplies, other buckets, or some less-ostentatious water receptacle.

((I was still hammering out the details, but this works for now. I suppose I'll allude to the bits I've gotten pinned down.))

Thymu was on leave, thank goodness. He was stuck on Earth for the time being, and had made the most of it...by working hard and endlessly. He was taking some time off, mandated by the psychiatrist, but Thymu didn't do well without work to be done. He entered the hotel and looked around at the wide variety of people walking past. Most were, of course, humans, but a few dwarves and elves were present, as were smaller numbers of rarer races. To his utter lack of surprise, Thymu was the sole Dragonborn present.

Thymu wasn't one for idle leisure, but there weren't many other options. He
looked around to see what activities were available to do and for any interesting or dangerous-looking individuals.

Name: Clair Gerriksdaughter
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Previous occupation: Alchemal Assistant
History: Clair was born to a family of poor farmers (and is there any other kind?). She was lucky enough to catch the attention of an alchemist living in a nearby town seven years ago, and was apprenticed to him. Once the properties of Redstone's rocks were discovered, Clair's master was among the first to go and study the new rocks...and among the first to die in a spiderman raid within his first week. Clair has since offered her services to several people, mainly alchemists but also others. Recently, she got an opportunity to help survey land for a new settlement; her team discovered an ancient temple, and the rest will soon be history...

Artefact
Type: Elemental?
Appearance: A perfectly spherical gemstone with a network of hollow tubes inside, through which a variety of fluids flow up, down, or sideways in a complex pattern.
Spirit: One of the primal forces of the world, or a fragment thereof.
Age: Who knows?
History: Again, how would I know?
Other info: Presumably has odd magical powers

Location
Village Name: Redstone
Village Size: Growing but currently fairly small
Temple relative to village: A few miles
Village other: Redstone was founded a decade and a half or so ago, by a group of several dwarves. It slowly gathered people from the nearby region, a jungle with scattered rocky hills and small peaks, but there weren't many there to begin with due to the spidermen and giant jaguars that inhabit the jungle. Recently, it became a hotspot due to the discovery that the red rocks making up its titular peak have unique alchemal properties; migrants have been flowing in since. The main peak is becoming crowded, and the jungle isn't the most hospitable place to expand a little village into, so teams were sent to survey nearby peaks and see if any were worth building new villages on.

No, you can't. You cell-stage'd as an herbivore, so you can't unlock carnivore/omnivore mouths.

And his name is Mal (Latin? for "bad" or "evil") devious...
French. For "evil", as a noun. (the adjective being "mauvais", meaning both bad and evil)
Linguistics never was my strong suit.

Anyways, I suggest we see if we can find some way to spread knowledge of the Cure to the afflicted towns. It's nice, and it puts them in our debt. Besides, the big plague-towns are a major trade partner and the County seat!

Nah. If we must kill it, we should make Squishy a shield and just stab it with our sword. Might as well have a corpse to loot for venom glands, exoskeleton armor, and the like.
+1

We should have looked through a portal to the Ranch Dressing plane to see if we could find any elven wizards.

We need to get to our nest before we can evolve.

Our new nest, to be specific.

30294
We didn't think it was that important.

"Hi, we want to stick this big axe into your holy tree. Is that okay?"

Also, we don't know what happens when we pierce the bark. It might not die immediately, and probably won't do so visibly (trees don't howl in pain as they die, they sit there and continue to be good habitats for nesting birds until they fall over from rot).

((Looks like you forgot to subtract the 2 slices of bread we used for the sandwich :P))
Oops.

Anyway, I think I wrote too much for this post, really the first forum game I have posted in. Most of these I have come up with will require alot of creativity. They are not particularly well thought out, and the last one is more of an experiment. I tried to make it less 'make a food machine' and more how I envisioned it to work, so everyone can make improvements to the design. So here we go:

Quote
Firstly, you're not naked. That implies no clothes.
Secondly, that should be possible, if A. you spent the Creativity and B. more people agreed than objected.

Quote
Spoiler: Project Flooring! (click to show/hide)
That sounds like it could be possible, although you've never enchanted anything that was bigger than you.

Quote
This would be possible to test.

Quote
Consider trying meditation as a potential method of gaining creativity. Huffing all this paint isn't good for us.
Try it.

Quote
smash up the painted glass shard and feed one of the smaller shards into the food machine, just to see what happens. Maybe it will be able to make food out of inorganic things too.
The what? I can't think of any glass shards that would be around...or glass anything, for that matter.

Now, I am going to post this before I think too hard about how much effort I put into this. Really interesting game, WyrmGold.
Thanks.

I'd like to note that all of this will take a lot of Creativity, especially if you also want to animate the other statues. You need to prioritize.

((He might also get tossed in a lake to see if he drowns. This has the benefit of him being dead and pardoned rather than dead and condemned.))
((May is currently female though if she pisses off the AM enough, Elizas' little accident may occur a second time with inversed results.))
((I keep forgetting who's who and which events happened to what.))

30298
"Oh dear. I know how this ends. Either I'm gonna get strapped to some wood and things are gonna get very hot or you're gonna burn me at the stake."
((Since the farmer isn't Thomas, I have to bet the second option is more likely.))
((He might also get tossed in a lake to see if he drowns. This has the benefit of him being dead and pardoned rather than dead and condemned.))

On the bright side, we'll have a few weeks before people starve to death.
