Your bump causes the thread to rebound off the ceiling and break through the floor...
Good thing the basement floor is made of bouncite.
Oh my. THE HOUSE IS COMING DOWN!

Try to surreptitiously and mysteriously kill all but one miner. Then write a heartfelt note on the ground with their entrails explaining how you're terribly sorry for all this business, but angels simply have to come down and strike some sinners down once in a while. Otherwise, how would they know to fear the heavens? Be as nice as possible in the note. Sign it as Richard von Charles the Third.

Afterwards, leave this entire area and look for new places to spread the joy.

The basic premise is great, but I object to Richard von Charles the Third being our own name. However, if we are pinning this on angels, then a pompous name such as that would send the right message.
Agreed.

Its really not like Im saying that we get rid of slog right now. Im just saying after this, we should go search for the ruby in the quest, get the ruby healer, and then swap slog out for her.
Agreed.

You want to drop slog?
Yes, if it's a choice between him and a halfway useful party member.

We'll still have Slog, just that we won't be able to directly control him.
...Good point, maybe Slog will follow us willingly!
We are, after all, the best thing that happened to him...

Slog and Ciro, jump up and down on the trap door!
+1. If this fails,
Ciro: Bloodshape a crowbar, get that thing open.
Slog: Do the windy thing to blow Riltia and Al back up here.

It's not impenetrable? It's just fortified and hidden. If you find it then it will just need time to get in.
Supplies is perfectly reasonable, water is easy to find and food is simple to grow underground with the right lights.
High tech weaponry thats highly limited and only a prototype to use against an enemy that outnumbers me hundreds of thousands to one.
Hardly a game breaker.
How exactly is 90 vehicles larger then a small country?
You're missing the point, but I'll counter your points one by one:
1. It's still better than everyone else's bases.
2. Do you understand how that makes you immune to sieges? (Assuming that you somehow have sufficient fertilizer and power.)
3. True, but A. they're not all or even many going to attack you at once and B. where did you get it?
4. 90 vehicles including helicopters and such is better than many small countries have. The most important word is small. Still, you're a lot smaller than almost any country. Why and how do you have so many vehicles?
5. Overall? No one thing is game-breaking, but altogether you have a Jack and Near-Master of All Trades with no weaknesses short of a good-sized nuke (which darn near everything is weak to), which is, in fact, the rough equivalent of 3.5's Druid class. If it leveled up at twice the speed everyone else did.

But I'll edit it a little bit, hardly unfair considering it's 4000 ish against hundreds of millions and some dragons can do the same by breathing.
Are you familiar with guerrilla warfare? Then get read up on it.
If you're considering who would win in open war, you're doing it wrong.

Guys, guys, we pulled it off!!! We deposed our ruler and placed our man on the throne! We're awesome! Just wanted to point that out!
Not bad at all. Although, I bet we could have become Count ourselves if we had really taken the risk. It would have involved allowing Owen to play his hand, attack us, anger the Duke, us not search for a bastard, be the best choice left standing, etc. In other words, messy and destructive on our home turf. However, we would have emerged the Duke's choice, afterward.
How do you know we'd be the best/most likely choice?

But then, being the power behind the scenes is often better.
Agreed.

Hm...there's potentially a new mage in town...Better have a new opening before he comes in.

Well, you're not going to find them just by looking around. Wander off in one direction, maybe see if you can sense the presence of others, or perhaps other universes, or worlds.

If this fails, contemplate futility.

IMPEDE ACTION. Also, gain the power to fix/remake the universe and use it.

The Serpent was originally built as a warship before being stolen by the lizardmen for their own use. Afterwards, the crew was warped by the magical energies present in the Serpent. The Serpent is its own captain and knows wind magic.
Fine.
1. Originally built as a warship.
2. Stolen by the lizardmen for their own use.
3. Crew warped by magical energies of the Serpent.
4. Its own captain.
5. Knows wind magic.
