Anyway, considering the largest planet has a tree, I really doubt it's Jovian sized. Or it would have a very small density, in order not to crush everything to dust. (Or, assuming that the trees are reinforced to the point of surviving the giant pressure, just smother them under it's thick atmosphere that'll keep out all sunlight.)
Low density makes sense.
Atmosphere isn't an issue--the aether is homogeneous.

Do you really think a hero would want to hang with us?
Ciro's a hero. (Technically.)
Besides, heroes have terrible judgement.

p.s. it's great how even polls get the weird consensus effect. Once a few votes outweigh the other options, it becomes a battle between that select two or three. Now the two party system makes sense. It's not a conspiracy. It's determinism.
It's a bit more complex than that. Want me to go into some slightly cynical, uncited, highly speculative suggestions of why bi- or monoparty systems will tend to form in political entities without processes which encourage minor parties or prevent overwhelming ones?

Realistically, we could go to the Awesome Shack, sell the Ring of Sexy, and get the Team Viewer.
Because we haven't done any diplomacy in a while, and Tactical Diplomacy doesn't require rolls.
NO.
-1 -1 -1 -1.

...
Y'know, it'd be hilarious if Freeform was actually providing useful information the entire time.
Well, what's the worst that could happen if we switched to Riltia? Maybe Al becoming the main character. But that's not too bad if you're an Al fangirl... Dunno if we have any, but...
Cherish.

That wouldn't change the fact that they would be weaker than other characters. Again.
Aren't you reading this?
WEAKER CHARACTERS GET STRONGER ABILITIES TO BALANCE THEM.
STRONGER CHARACTERS GET WEAKER ABILITIES TO BALANCE THEM.
IT ISN'T ROCKET SCIENCE.

Oh, I would think that Freud would have just argued that pantomiming capping yourself in the head ought to summon your Id as the action has a connection to your Id's Death Drive and then you'd end up with a horrific mass representing your Id rather than a persona.
It can't be that bad.
If you think it would be, then prove me wrong. I'd like to see that.

I'd say some random perks for people would spice the thing up, make them all a bit more distinct mechanicaly. I doubt it would break out into class wars.
Agreed.

isn't anima a god that summons other gods?

she is hardly something that is fair to be used in comparisons
Exactly. She shouldn't be being compared in a balancing manner to others, and yet here she is, a fairly major character.

STOP FUCKING TALKING
No.

I regret adding that link to my browser history.

I like this analogy.

((There is more than one place in Hell.))
((Lunette would have figured out which place before they went there. Your response implied that she didn't have to. :|)
((Alright, you'll just have to see how this goes.))
Lunette knows where Will is, or at least where he got sent to. She now just needs to figure out where she is and how to get from there to Will's location.

((though the annoying and game hindering nature of GWGs way of handling this urges me to just say "well, too bad for will then" and call it a day, that's not quite what ICARUS would do.))
((I wouldn't be hindering the game this much if I was a cyborg with 24/7 Internet access.))

Quote
ICARUS begins the Kyle routine: Wandering around aimlessly, projecting an image of Will and asking random demons if they have seen him.
None have, or at least none say they have. Several ask why ICARUS cares, several others remain silent, and a few make it very clear that they will render ICARUS to scrap metal if she doesn't leave them alone.

Basically, she summons their bodies and souls back, and it can be permanent if they didn't belong there and aren't getting held back. It also takes about 10 minutes per person.
Alright.
Luna's summons are blocked by some force. She has a rather uncomfortable feeling in her gut.

"...Ow. Sorry, Smaug!"

Fire again, without hitting anyone I don't want to have hit.

3186
You might get your wish.

Would that be a sky-demon, or a demon disguised as a Final Fantasy protagonist?

So last week was quite stressful and all these other weeks I've generally been either depressed or stressed also. It's spring break for me though so I guess I'll jump back in and do Mal stuff. Or I could make a new character since I've been playing too much SMT 4 and Persona haha. Iunno, whatever, someone just tell me to do something.
Why not do a miniquest or something to explain his absence?

...I am now amused by an image of Meme and Mimi being the terrors of Mermaids.
Catpeople or no, they're physically small children.

So would my character get just one persona or would he have the ability to get more personas (or maybe be like SMT and have him talk to enemies and recruit them)? Oh, and is an Evoker needed?
Only one persona, I believe, but an Evoker would be pretty damn cool to have.
Right up until an enemy with an ability facilitating sleight of hand replaces it with a loaded gun.
Oh, that's hilarious.

can't we have random perks on level up for everybody?
I approve of this idea! I'd appreciate it being applied retroactively!

elf could balance out by making the random a bit biased, and rerolling to give weaker perks to stronger abilities
And how would that make it fair to the persona players who have the crummy personas, and the fact that they might not get the perk as evidenced by Kyle's last level up?
...They would get stronger perks. Because they have weaker abilities.

<We can atleast try for information.> Luna sighs and attempts to summon Will, and/or Angel and Nuriel if their in there too...
Remind me, how does this work?

"Alright Lunette, see if you can perhaps pinpoint where that teleportation spell has send Will to. If we just ask random demons, this could take too long."
"Okay."
Lunette tries to pinpoint where the teleporation spell took Will.
Wait. You went to Hell, then tried to follow the teleportation trail? Which has the known end in the not-Hell place?

Assuming the planets are terran in size, they have a volume of roughly 1.×1021 m3. Assuming again, that the lakes are a perfect cylinder, that gives us a radius on the scale of 109 m.  So said lake would be about a million kilometer across.
The largest planet is Jovian-scale. The smallest is Terran-scale. The other one is in between.

Anyways. Remind me to do that calculation about the plane's material.

Point is, you can't have a perfect hemisphere, as the plane is only a good 32 km thick. Which would make for a rather disappointing sea and planet respectively.
Let's say they're irregular bowl-shaped somethings with the same volume as the respective planet.
That's a lot harder to calculate the stats of, though.

-1 to tripping to DL2
Now it's come to it I'm not actually sure about heading off to DL2. Partly because it'd just be a bit impolite to bail on Ripriver now. He'd also probably get himself killed challenging Ecco to a duel or something. Nothing wrong with a quick trip to the Underside to replenish and pick up Goombess (and her newly-crafted items) though.
Head to the Underside. Inform Ripriver that we'll be back in a minute or two, though.
Alright.
+1

"Poll class" is on the mercenary rotator again. IT'S TIME.
Hey, freeform! Are we supposed to be able to pick more than one option?

Let's try for Cloud Hero. This game needs more ridiculous swords.
Took the words right out of my mouth.

Also, looks like DL3 is fine. Shall we tell Cain how Ecco reacted?
No, because jumping is the only repeated-use way out of there.  We can get in free, but we can't get out without using up that checkpoint.
Or jumping.
Or...wasn't there a stairway Cain let us use?

Ehhhhhhhh I sorta really want to keep going, but I wouldn't be opposed to a quick merc check.
Why Greens, though?  What are we doing there?
To put Al's hair in a pod~!
The jokes from Al alone outweigh the expected outcome.

Ultimately, a ship we destroy is better than a ship we fail to capture. I believe to that end Steve is using the same huge-ass cannon the boarding teams used to fire actually destructive projectiles up right now.
The latter is yet another reason we don't need to perform destructive tactics.

Team B: Wild Weasels

"Hot DAMN it's good to be off that rock! Simus is down, I'll take command until she's able to take over."

Try to find anything that would allow us to open the pod in a location with atmosphere. If I can't find anything, get everyone braced and activate the laser on the side that would have been the top when fired. If it does open into vacuum, try to catch anybody that get sucked out either with my hands, or if that isn't possible, my amp.

Oh dear.

You press the button for the  cutter in the rear of the shell and, once it has opened, you immediately hurl yourself out. Luckily the ship still has its gravity systems working so you just fall down into a half melted, slumped corridor below. No signs of anyone.
I'm amazed he didn't jump into space.

You also get suited up, but since no doors are open about the most productive thing you can do is play rock paper scissors with Jack to decide who will be the first to stick their head into the corridor.
...Well? Who won?

"I need a capable tactician to take over my role as mission control for our sod team, because I need to direct the overhauling of one of our ships into a combat rescue shuttle."
...Should this have been done before we launched the people?

Unnamed Ship: Team F: Grate

Listen to the older people. Try not to get sucked out into the airless void of space, should the risk appear. If a door opens, look out.

Alternatively, provide different percentages for various things.
Alternatively, reroll if the difficulty is (say) above twice the number of rolls made so far.
Alternatively, provide a number of different categories. "Random Pest." "Random Large Animal". "Random Elemental Energy". "Random Powerful Exotic Substance".
