No, the moons are WHERE we can do anything, not WHAT we can do anything to.
I don't see how the first doesn't cause the second. how do you draw the line between the where and the what? could you give an example of something you couldn't do under where but can under what?
(i am being slowly convinced this is a good idea, it just worries me. i hope I'm not bothering you too much asking for these justifications. i figured you'd prefer it over a no vote with no explanation.)
(Indeed I would.)
Common sense and MAD.
uh, i dont understand what Common Sense (either a concept or an ancient phmphlet, not an action), and Mutually Assured Destruction (again, a concept, not an action) have to do with the topic.
Are you saying the way to tell them apart is common sense (if so, apparently i don't have it, what with the question i just asked), and things will be prevented from getting out of hand via Mutually Assured Destruction?
Essentially.

... i dont like it, i dont think you have enough safeguards, but... well, if it becomes a problem we'll just petition for removal of the things i suppose, as you said earlier when i gave that death star example.
And ideally by then someone will have come up with a good way to remove some of those loopholes.

Uuh, Nerjin?
GWG only has C1 left, and the elephant is dead...
No! My plan is RUINED!

Also, request to add Slog Tears to Fan Works.
But it's less than 5% Fan Works per square pixel!
Where to start...
Any inclusion of area is unneeded. Started.
Pixels are already area, so a square pixel is a 4D unit of measurement. Finished.

That was easy.

He seems to have a Strength penalty. They're all the rage these days.

And weird tidal effects don't seem like much of a negative consequence.

Excellent.

32079
my main objection is isn't that what avatars are for?
What?

Quote
that and if given total power over an area, it's easy to project force out of that area into another.

for example: i make my moon into a Death Star! my Death Star fires a planet-destroyer laser at the planet! it's super-effective!

i dont want that.
That's abuse of the rules and a petition to remove that player's right to a moon would pass almost instantly.
And yeah, maybe it needs something to remove loopholes, but we won't get them all and the same applies no matter what we give players direct control over so I don't see the argument.

So, Roll to Fluxx? In.

Name: MinMaximus
Appearance: This tense gentleman has beady black eyes that are like two onyxes. His luxurious, straight, very short hair is the color of obsidian, and is worn in an uncomplicated style. He has an athletic build. His skin is deeply-tanned. He has hollow cheeks. His wardrobe is mysterious and unconventional, with a mostly gray and black color scheme.
Stats:
Strength – +5
Dexterity – +5
Endurance – +5
Intelligence – +5

You never said that the stats needed to be balanced!
If they do...

Strength +2
Dexterity +4
Endurance -1
Intelligence -5

Am in Wonderland
Go to tea party

Um...[6] Sure you are. You see the Red Queen.

Commandeer the ship, look for crew.
"This is my ship now!" No one responds.

Make an appeal with new evidence
[2] You don't have new evidence.

That it is unlawful to kill a lawyer!
[1] "So? Who's gonna prosecute us?" You get shot! And your phone rings. But you got shot!

Beat a random person over the head with my newly found staff, and trap their soul inside it.
[4v1] You smack the FB's head. [1] This doesn't phase it. However, you feel something lower inside of you. 100-14=86

Ask for a lawyer.
You've got the court-appointed guy and the appeal is failing. However, [3] you call Phoenix Wright.

Fend them off.
[6v1+2] Glorious victory!

I was imagining the planet as "our" planet, not "Remuthra's" planet.

Drink soup! also climb out of pot.
You sip some of the boiling water. Hm, water and a little spice...they didn't get far. Well, now they can add Hobo Grease to the ingredients list! [2] Or just "hobo."
[4+1,5] You get a moderately useful ability which you have no way to discover what it is at this time.

"Oh God they'rve bee' mutatin' an' experimentin' on us an' holdin' us against our will, yah 'ave to help us!" Rick continues fleeing.
[4-1] "If this is all true, then why are--" You run off before you can hear the rest.
[5,2] Your body hair, eyebrows, and such fall out. They're kinda itchy.

FUCKING TROGLODYTES!
Run away, find hospital

("Troglodyte" means "lives in a cave," not "savage.")
[2-1] You discover quadriplegicism. [4-1] You are beaten more. Sirens blare...but for whom?
[3] And that's your mutation for the turn.

'GODDAMMIT DIE FOR ME ALREADY"
Secrete numbing slime on his feet, preventing him from running away. In fact, secrete slime all over him.
[3+1v5] He resists the solution and [2+1v1] slips out, using your solution as a lubricant thingy! He collapses on the ground, chunks and gouges missing from his skin and flesh.
[4,3] Your cut tingles.

Take Aspirin to relieve my mutation symptoms. Because Aspirin solves everything.
[3] You find a single aspirin in the almost-empty bottle. You eat it.
[4,1] Your body scrambles itself. Your head goes to your left front leg, your left eye opens within the same ear, your rear legs go to your right arm, and your remaining normal leg melts off, to reform on your head. The aspirin didn't work.

-----

Try my best to cover myself with what I've got, and run after the guy who ran to the forest.
[3] You adjust the sheet and make a mental note to visit some kind of tailor or tent shop.
[2] You feel your mind changing...

Grab the guy who knocked the serum out of my hands by the shoulders and shake him around a bit. Then locate the serum, inject.
[1v5] You fall over. Someone smacks you, making you feel less angry.
[5] You see a syringe and grab it. It explodes. Well, call you Gambit Lime!

Excellent, everything's going according to plan.
Find a cabin in the woods.
[6] You find a cabin. As you tug at the door, you hear an ominous click. "Tael me wha yo' brekkin' inta mah cabin, big boh."
"Ah, Bawb, why'ja wayst a rayund?"
"Tuh mayk uh poynt with duh moron."
[1]

"Why hello good sir. I that was my hand you just shot! RAAAAAAGE! HAHAHAHA!"
Choke the guard with one hand and steal the gun with the other. As soon as I get the gun, shoot him in the groin! Then shoot wildly at people!
[5-1&1-1v6] You scrape at his throat and get your hand shot OFF. Ow ow ow.
[3] You want a gun so much you turn into a big gun! Then you turn back.[0.25-1.00 body mass]

"Can't see!  Totally lame, bros!"
Attempt to improvise myself a method of sight!  Preferably by more self-administered mutations.
"Gr! Ugh! Ummm!" You do not re-develop sight.
[2,6,5,3] Two turns of mutations catch up to you. You flail about and smack someone falling down, feeling energized. ["Angerpire," touch, energizes]. You lose your sense of smell! You feel flesh melt off your face. You feel tough. [Harmed only by silver]

NPC Actions:
The cooks grab various implements to test the soup with and wonder what those dark streaks are from.
The cage people bring in the cages.

As always, let me know if something's missing from your status.

The nice things about moons...

1. Astrology
2. More separate; you can't make zombies on your moon and "accidentally" have them wander into someone else's territory or something.

32085
Each is our own personal territory, where you don't need to go thorough all this Petition stuff to make something. Also, it let's you try bad ideas without screwing everything else up.

And it doesn't stop you from making stuff elsewhere.
