Your child, very much like yourself, switches genders upon traveling in time, which it presumably does often, being Annie Lake's right hand person. It's what makes the circular family tree possible, after all.
[6+1] Evidently, s/he stole your time machine at some point in the future and uses it even more than you do.

Quote
You suspect one of the reasons it hates you is because you named it ZZpt#771C111!!!, pronounced Bob after a future tradition, in a misguided attempt to be a smartass.[/b]
[2-1] No. Your child's name contains neither a Z nor a B.

At some point in the future past it will be revealed that your son daughter was actually a slightly evil clone made to make you lose faith in the universe and turn yourself evil, when that doesn't work he will be ordered to kill you, and then your real son will save you, t's then revealed that in order to preserve the timeline, you did all of this!
[6-1] Indeed.

Despite your differences, you often have a civil cup of tea with your child, just to catch up and make sure he/she is doing okay.
[5-2] Once in a while. S/he typically takes the opportunity to remind you that, how much, and why you are hated.

We've got about as much detail as we did for Mot, so a turn or two and we'll start someone new.

Sorry to see you go Ethiopia.  Since France still has not replied, I'm going to be playing for him in this battle.
THE RUSSIANS ARE ALREADY DEAD
Hm?

"Hello, Zarah. I am sorry to have intruded. Might I offer to make my presence welcome with a bit of a story to make your day more interesting?"

32704
I'm guessing you mean Russia had more allies? Which would be wrong since at the time they fought it completely alone and most of those allies were not allies until after that campaign ended and they broke off from Napoleon.
Except the British of course, us stubborn swine were the only nation to fight him the entire length of the war without once being forced to surrender :).
No, I mean Russia has more allies in this alternate universe.

Alamoes may I suggest an OOC thread? I suspect there will be a lot of discussions like this in the future while we're stuck waiting on moves from people to advance, so it might be a good idea to have a seperate thread for it so you don't need to dig for any relevant information in it.
...This isn't the OOC thread?
No, it isn't. Huh.

Trying to extract mana from yourself will hurt, and you will pass out.  The mana generated will be equivalent to the amount of mana in you - the cost to extract the mana.
Worth a shot...

Remember everything we can about magic.

32706
That sounds good.

"Yeah whatever."
I know people like that.

..... Minor reason?
Napoleon lost more men to cold, disease and starvation then he did in every battle combined in that campaign mate.
Which is why the Russians retreating was a minor reason compared to cold and attrition.

Quote
It was a good tactic by the Russians I won't deny that but running from your enemy and letting those factors do the work for you is not a sign of strength.
It is, however, a sign that invading that place when it has more allies is a bad idea.

Your child with yourself, unsurprisingly enough, turned out to be pure evil. It may have been the fact you were/are/will be a largely absent parent, not to mention all the time traveling silliness you can't help but drag him into.
You believe he works with Annie Lake now in an attempt to spite you. Fortunately, he is also a dribbling incompetent, which has somewhat hurt her ability to execute her plans.

[3] Your child isn't pure evil, by any means, but his scruples leave much to be desired. [6] He is the right-hand person of Annie, [1] and scarily competent...

Except none of the above is true and he actually gained strange in built time travel powers and spends most of his time in the future, trying to make it a better place.
[1] He doesn't care about any time in the world; you suspect that even destroying the world wouldn't seem to crazy to your child if it helped her. (Decide on a gender for the child soon, please.) [2] Your child has no special powers.

It turn out that your child eventually take a time traveling version of him/herself as a lover and it turn out that he/she is you and would have a child that eventually take a time traveling version of him/herself as a lover and it turn out that he/she is you and would have a child that eventually take...
[6] You have many generations of descendants who, as they say, screwed themselves. You also suspect the same is true of your parents, and toy with the possibility of having a circular family tree.

The fact that Napoleon lost because the Russians ran away like little girls rather then fight him underlines the strength of Russia?

The only reason they were able to beat him was because they ran away, let him take a huge swath of land and burn Moscow then attacked him afterwards while his men were already half dead from the cold and still failed to beat him in any significant battles while he was in Russia.

Hardly a show of strength.
Oh, sure, if you ignore the other factors like Napoleon's army suffering attrition and such...after all, if Russia just ran away, that's it, logically that means that Napoleon conquered Russia, which didn't happen.
Face it, you're simplifying things a lot by focusing on a relatively minor reason for Napoleon's loss.

Punch way through wall
[4+2-3] You knock a hole twice the size of your fist in the wall...about seven feet from the door.
[6] Something you're not sure of happens.
(Geez, why do so many mutations not have obvious effects? Um...try touching someone and don't go outside?)

throw shirt at cage guys, try to spread my wings.
If that fails due to lack of wings find that reflective surface again.

You do, in fact, have wings. [1] You manage to get your arms and wings tangled in your shirt and labcoat, and fall to the ground.
[5] Suddenly, the world shifts around you. Everything is turned upside down. Black is white, shadows are bright, lightbulbs cast darkness, and come to think of it, pretty much everything suggests you see in darkness instead of light.

Continue to do ritual.
[2] Not quite done yet...although some people look at you oddly.
[2] You don't change anymore.

Open a window.
[2] There are no windows and I imagine that pop probability states I won't roll 2's again for a while.
[2] Proving them wrong, nothing happens.

Rick sniffed as he saw the cages, and him turn orange. "Well... I reckon that sucks." He slowly yawns, and then says "Yep. Don't be puttin' nobody in cages, nobody would like that. Lets all just be calm now, yeah?" Rick still leans against the wall lazily, but is tense and ready to react with a punch if someone attempts to shove him in a cage.
[1] "Oh, no, you're going in the cages first...your head is the color of an apricot! Who wants to deal with someone that turns peoples' faces apricot?" [1v5] You manage to stumble into the expertly placed cage of one of the cage-bearers. Body language indicates relief as the cage door closes.
[6] You get a moderately useful ability that requires several seconds of eye contact to use. You also see a worm crawl out through a crack in the floor. "Hi! Um, glad to see you...I think. Need help?"

Try and poke something with the finger.
FYI, it's a figurative finger. Anyways, [2] you don't see anything happen so it must not have done much.

"Jesus Christ, he turns into framing mister mucsle and for all intents and purposes I'm turning into a baby, low blow universe, low blow."
Kick a scientist in the shins and tell him, curtly to fix this shit before punch him out.
(Actually, you've just shrunk. A lot. You're still at adult proportions...just 2-1/2 feet tall.)
[6-1v2] "Ow! What do you want me to do? Give you another dose and hope you suddenly grow again?"
[1] What do you say?

NPC Actions:
Caging attempts begin. A few people jump on Crazy Joe, [1+1v4+2] leading to one death and two prone. Another goes for Markus, [1v5] smacking into the latter and bouncing back into a cage [1] with sores breaking out over the parts which touched Mark us.

Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

As you may have gathered, I am using a new system for mutation. You have a 50% chance of not mutating at all and a 16% chance of double-mutating.

Oh, and those two waitlisters: Make it a bit less silly and/or give it substance, and you're good.

Let's combine the two. We personally introduce Marna to the militia, all the people on their level (if we haven't done that already). After we officially announce our son, we do the same with him.
Sounds like a decent p
An.

After a while, you decided to go meta and collect collections. That took a while, to say the least.

(I'm sorry, it had to be done.)
(It really didn't.)
[3] You have a small collection of collections.

You are female
You also have a cat collection

[3] You are...female. [1] You hate cats.

For some reason, each time you travel through time, your gender changes. This has happened so often you don't remember which gender you were originally.
(Weird, but fits with the above 3, so...)
[6] In fact, you've evidently time travelled so much that you sometimes switch genders when not time travelling...which is a little awkward at times.

Which makes a couple others viable.

Either way, you've met opposite gendered yous from opposite timelines multipl times. It's always... interesting, to say the least.
[6] Just about every you you've met has been the gender opposite the one you are currently. Weird...

Either way, you've met opposite gendered yous from opposite timelines multipl times. It's always... interesting, to say the least.
BEING GENRE SAVVY, YOU CHALLENGE THEM TO FISTFIGHTS
And 'wresting' *Wink, wink*
That led to an incredibly awkward pregnancy.
[2,3,4] Being genre savvy, you haven't ever challenged yourself to a fistfight, but once you did take yourself as a lover. Well, twice, kinda. This lead to a pregnancy which was, indeed, awkward.
