DO DA REETUEL
...The ritual, you mean?
[4] You get up and do it properly, which goes beyond the space of this turn.
During the ritual, you sprout a long tail.

How odd. Poke a sore, observe.
It hurts when you poke it.
Your mind feels different, like you have a new finger on your hand or something.

We don't get a description of what our mutations are?
What do you mean? I described them.

Quote
Investimagate computors.
You get up and wander over towards them. "What are you doing?" demands one man.
He blanches as your muscles swell, filling your old coat a bit.

poke the tongue... find a reflective surface and observe tongue... try to speak
In order: It feels like a tongue, [4] looks like a tongue, and you can talk...a bit unclearly, but speak slowly and people should understand you.
As you consider this, you note a pressure on the back of your shirt.

Rick sniffs in boredom. "Well... That was that. Knew I shoulda updated mah 401 plan..." He drawled out slowly in a relaxed tone as he leaned against the nearest sturdy object. "Y'all need to relax a bit, too tense. I'm sure the good doctors have the answers, yes?" Rick commented, not really caring whether or not they do. "Either way, this mean I get mah job back?"

Rick drawls and talks, leans against something.
[1] "No." Some people run in with a cage. Body language indicates that they're going to put someone in it.
You flush an orangish color, and stay there.

"Ok then, reading apparently not a skill I have anymore, great."
Look for the door out.
You see it, and several people going through it carrying cages.
Feeling nauseated, you hurl yourself on the ground and hurl your guts out for a minute or two. Standing up, you're in a big pool of reddish clearish stuff and your clothes literally fall off, due to you having shrunk to about the size of a toddler.

Throw something onto the table.
You take out a falcon treat and toss it on the table. Nothing happens.
Your skin shifts to a plasticky consistency. Surprised, it changes back. Soon you learn how to control it.

NPC Actions:
Various people jab at machines or jabber at each other. A few come through the door with cages.

I vote visitor-count-philosopher.

The visitor came all this way to see us, so he deserves to be first; besides, the Count won't know and possibly won't care that we didn't see him ASAP.
The philosopher last, in case he waxes locquatiously with his sesquidepellan words and metaphysical thought processes, depriving us of the opportunity to visit with other visitors or otherwise spend our time which was spent on the philosopher.

I'm counting the update as happening on February 23. One month after that is March 23.
And if you don't count "the length of a month" as "one month," you probably use "30 days," which means TODAY is a month!

Settle on Washington.

Fun fact.

Know what Akinator the Genie is?
It doesn't know Ciro.

Everyone wakes up in a lab room. There's panicking and beeping of machinery and, from what those of you familiar with teratogenic terminology can discern, fears of instability (inn far more words).

Bruce realizes he's having trouble reading.

Eugene realizes he has a thickened tongue.

Homeless Joe starts hearing voices. Then he realizes that he's just hearing things more...somethinggy. Better.

Joe Bridger feels the table under him, seeing scenes of various recovering people on the same table...weird.

Markus sits up, noting a couple sore sores on his body.

Rick starts noticing more things in peoples' body language. Right now, lots of people are confused and nervous.

Xan feels an odd feeling. He feels a strange feeling about a ritual he could do...

Try to form a independant navy. With spacecraft. Respawn if needed.
Lousy lack of stonecrafting skills.
Respawn
INSIDE SOMEONE'S BRAIN

Aid action
somehow
change the setting so that we are space marines in an intragalactic conflict
Punch the entire afterlife
Now how do you intend to do that?

Respawn in Hades.
[4] Ayup.

Tie it to a lightning rod and hope for a thunderstorm.
[4] You find one. [4] A thunderstorm fires up.

Respawn
INSIDE SOMEONE'S BRAIN

You respawn. Outside someone's brain.

You have a dangerously focused addiction to collecting propane and grills powered by propane.
[4-1] Because a time traveller can't have enough collections, you have a few propane grills and some propane stashed in the foundation of the White House. It seems to vanish after the War of 1812 for some reason...

You almost died in a fire several times. You're beginning to wonder if it isn't a coincidence.
[3] You've almost burnt to death a few times.

Your best friend is an Alien.
[3-1] You've never met any aliens. Unless you count some guys who claim to be aliens.

They also get some of our food, so there's no food profit.

Just social perks.

In what way? Ants are one of the most efficient creatures on the planet...
besides, no matter how creepy, if they see that it brings drinks;they'll adapt
They're not Bay12ers.
And why not start with something they'll immediately recognize as a boon? Which is also more efficient? For the price of making an ant as good as a normal cow, we can probably make that cow subsist on darkness and produce double the normal milk yield.

Turn the force-field into a pocket dimension. We can store the altar in hammerspace for later, when we need to block a tsunami of something.
Or, we can leave it where it is. Remember, the magic isn't in the altar per se.

Alright, further people will be put on a waitlist. I'll be nice and let the reserver post a sheet. Just hurry up, Pariah, or you'll lose your spot!

Still, they're huge ants. That creeps people out. Oh, yeah, and as mentioned it would be less efficient.
