I'm more bothered by the ridiculously passive-aggressive tone and constant need to comment on the same things in the exact same way. I know what you're going to say even before I even read the post. I don't think I've seen a positive comment on... anything from you, ever.

You need to let go and chill the fuck out, that's what I'm saying.
My first response is to point out that A. Despair is a pretty darn negative place and B. I don't feel a need to comment on things I agree with, but you may have a point. Still, how do you suggest we overcome the latter issue?

Roll To Dodge / Re: Arena Deus! (Game I - Round 14: Coup de Grace)

Another suggestion: Killing half the arena and dying to a lucky shot shouldn't put you out of the running. Maybe have a score penalty for dying. Also give the killing player a portion of the victim's points, say 10-25% of them, on top of a flat number; killing a kogan with several kills should be more momentous than killing a random horse. Perhaps the score penalties for death could also be based on the score of the killer, more if the kill err was dozens of points behind but less if you're just another in a series of murders by an awesome player.
I see your point, but I specifically like the way it is. I find there's some sort of twisted, ironic beauty in a character on a kill-streak getting killed randomly. The player has to choose either an offensive or defensive strategy, or something in the middle. In this case, defense worked. Besides strategy, I think the other thing to be factored in this game is the gambling aspect: Is it worth going for something and risking getting hurt, or not getting it and risking falling behind in the end?
It would be, if the answer wasn't obvious: Hide and hope to be the last killed. Let the others kill each other and hope you prevail when it's down to you and one or two others.
That's not fun, if everyone does it, and not doing it puts you at a disadvantage.

HotS?

We really need to get this to stop. Shall we examine the altar?

Has the GM expressed such reluctance? If he does, by all means I will post less here, but when it's just you guessing at that I'm not changing.

And my points on the nature of nature's laws are valid regardless of if any god played by me is in the game at this time; they're true regardless. Same with my other points, to varying extents.

GWG, I hate to rain on your parade (not really), but your comments are pointless as you are commenting on people and stuff that really does not concern you - you aren't in the game anymore. Moreso, most of your replies are utter nonsense that simply is a waste of space in the OOC.

I don't know about others, but I'm sick of wading through this place to see your enormous replies to every singe person like you matter in the game -you are out and thats that. Wait for your turn but stop spamming. You can't be in the game by proxy, no one cares about your narration.
1. I will eventually be in the game.
2. Many of my points are relevant despite my absence.
3. My last "enormous" reply was waaay back on page 308; all more recent ones have quoted only a few people and have fit on one screen of my tablet. One reply that size every dozen pages is so bad?

((FFFFFfFFFFFFFFFFfffff I wrote the update out and accidentally tripped over the power cord, shutting it down instantly. What's a good text editor for pre-writing updates? Notepad sucks, is there anything with bbcode support? JEdit might be viable...))
Not sure about bbcode support, but I find Google Docs pretty useful for update writing.

((except it's made of fire, burning up would make it stronger... I think... really I don't care what happens as long as we get another turn, and what is the status on that?))
It'll be later tonight. Have to go and watch the school musical first.
Sounds like fun.

Oh, and a meteor burning up in the atmosphere doesn't do much...

I'm still of the opinion that we keep it... Can we at least just store it in our storage instead of reabsorb it? That way we can get it if we want it back, and it will test to see what happens to blood shapes that are away from our presence for a certain period of time. Good enough compromise?
That works for me.

Will become is legitimate english, don't try to tell me otherwise,
Proper English, aye.
Correct statement, nay.
The future tense is the issue.

and anyway, how does making a galxy or planet out of nothing follow any scientific law,
Never claimed everything followed the laws of physics, but it's not made out of nothing; Major Acts clearly contain a large quantity of energy. Regardless, once formed, such things should follow the laws of physics until modified by a god.

oh and thats how you speel science, look it up
...Huh?

So we all just waiting for an update now?
Ideally one where Procella comes in...but aye.

Well everyone. Ritilia the fighter, kinda needs a weapon. The only way I see us getting a weapon is either A: Bloodshaping one for her, or B: Finding swordflaillamp.

Plus the +1 to luck probably isn't going to make any difference in most of our rolls.
Especially considering everything's done on a D20. The only places it would help would be at the extremes, avoiding a 1, and bumping up to a 20.
And at the juncture between fail and succeed.

Try to find out what Williams actually did.
From him. We need to befriend William (without being too obvious) He might have fallen out of favour, but he is still a prince. Plus he's family- our psych profile tells me that's important to us.
Agreed.

No! What we must do is find the pets section and free the Scorpions to become Battle Scorpion Riders.
Sure. First, consolidate our power.
