I personally rather learn japanese. I'll be putting that to use when I get into the military and hopefully get to go in Japan! In okinawa! Or if I get embassy duty, then I'll try to be a guard at the US embassy in Japan! And not live on an island in Japan but Japan itself! Ah... can't wait.... though that once again reminds I need to get off my lazy ass and exercise.... ugh.... curse my damn laziness! You and other circumstances are keeping me from my dream of Japan!
...Either you don't know your geography too well or I'm missing something here.
Well, he's thinking of how Japan is made up of smaller islands, Kyushu for example, and he'd rather live on the main island. Okanawa, I think it is? I don't know my geography very well either.
Okinawa, and for that matter Honshu, are islands in Japan. It's just that Honshu is the biggest (and Okinawa the biggest in its area).

Gretchen sat still and listened as Diane babbled a bit. Poor girl, she thought. Gretchen could tell she was probably trying to unwind a bit, release her feelings--and anyways, what's the proper response to someone saying they gave their history teacher a heart attack or trying to think positively while talking about how they'll be flirting with death for the rest of their lives?--so she remained silent. After Diane's remarks about Vincent Price and stress, there was a brief moment of silence as Gretchen waited to see if Diane had anything else to say.

"...Yes, I suppose it would be. Um...you say you're doing well in school? What's your favorite subject so far?"

Look at the clock. If it's close to time to leave, head home. If not, try to find something to make me look busy on a lower floor.

Round 3:
478 Georgians vs. 484 Tarheels vs. 92 South Carolinians vs. 47 MILOSes

GA:
John McBaroon charges again at the Tarheels. [5v1] Two are decapitated. FOR MOTHER GEORGIA!

NC:
Adam Bradley goes back-to-back with his brother, ignoring both that rifles and axes have massively different effective ranges and that there's this one guy's charging at them. [1v5] He loses his head over the matter.
Johnathan ignores his brother and the swordsman, [1v5] losing his head, which mouths "Go heels!" for several seconds after being cut off.
Jack Robson is angry. [1v4] This affects his aim adversely. [4v3] But, evidently, not his ability to dodge noodles.

SC:
Joe Bridger grabs a random guy and tries to sacrifice him! [4v2,4v3-1,1] The grabbing and the sacrifice go well, but the not-getting-eaten-by-a-demon part...fails. A dozen of his friends also appear.
Joseph Gregory Houser [4v6] swipes at a passing Tarheel, who trips backwards and ignores Joe's grumblings about the North Carolinian army having too many people.
Joe Noodles [4v1] steps a foot to the right, causing the bullet to miss his left side by five. He then sighs and stabs [3v4] the air to the side of the shooter's face.

MILOS:
Richard Johnson gives a speech. [2] It is mostly too slurred to be comprehensible, which is likely for the best.

Undead:
Charley Gurk's corpse twitches. [4] It rises and shambles for the nearest supply train! He renames himself Corpsey McGroan and bites a guy with a crossbow.
Ruchard Hearsaym decides to side with the dead this turn. [1] He gets bitten by his alleged ally!

NPC:
This is just getting all messed up. Around a circle of madness, the two...three...four...six? Four plus demons? However many armies there are converge. [2+1v4+1v4-1v6-1v2+1] The Tarheels and MILOSs seem to do rather well, causing most deaths and taking respectively three and no casualties this round...of fire. The other three armies--Georgia, South Carolina, and demons--do worse, taking 14, 10, and 1 casualties, respectively--the demons only manage to devour two people, one of them the summoner!

463 Georgians vs. 478 Tarheels vs. 82 South Carolinians vs. 47 MILOSes vs. 11 Demons vs. 2 Zombies

My greatest fear for this RtD is that the battle will be over before we can get into the Hall of Fame.

respawn. murder my killer.
Still not dead, but meh.
[3v2] ShadowDragon gets a nasty blow to the side of the head, dazing him!

PUNCH THE SWORD AGAIN
PUNCH THE SWORD AGAIN
Aid action.
[5+1] The two of them punch the sword, breaking is and getting little metal splinters in their hands.

Use my Elven-y sneakyness to steal the sword!
Use the sword to extract the splinters!

Sword's broken. [4] You remove the splinters from Furtaka. How nice.

OKAY THEN. MURDER XANTALOS, LEAVE MYSELF UNHARMED.
USE LIMBLESS AIKIDO TO MAKE VORTHON MURDER HIMSELF
These seem to be in conflict.
[5v5] Neither of you is harmed. Physically, the mental scars of this thing will be long in the healing.

Flying bat people with little actual culture who live almost exclusively in caves.
Possible; there's not a lot of culture to begin with.

Quote
They eat exclusively meat
Simple enough.

Quote
and are automatically "cave adapted" to the first level (the sun irritates them).
Impossible.

Quote
Use only rudimentary leather clothing and daggers, no foot or hand coverings. They are also highly skilled at the blowgun.
Possible. Would they actually have blowgun access?
Regardless, unless you make blowguns use the Knife User skill in melee, thieves will never come with them, and they will never bring ammo either.

Quote
More of a nuisance than a threat to a fortress, as they enjoy stealing items but avoid battle.
Should be easy to make them act like kobolds in this regard.

Quote
Bonus points if you can make them wield obsidian daggers, naturally.
Probably not possible; getting NPC civ creatures to use funny materials in weapons is hard. I think you can make them use any kind of stone by preventing them from using metal, though.

"Yup, that's the one I was talking about. Do you know where she is, Mr. Steve?"

Continue to the rec room's door. Look inside to see if there's anything or -one who looks dangerous.

Put on ring. Sniff alcohol.

33507
Retreat.
