I'm not planning to Westernize China, don't be ridiculous. Was the shipping industry stoverized when it incorporated steamships? No! Just take a few concepts, make them Chinese, and use them to make China all the greater.
A noble effort but with a few snags. This isn't the equivalent of introducing a new piece of equipment to an industry, this is Is introducing a whole new way of life which is intrinsically and necessarily opposed to every value and philosophy towards life the chinese hold dear. It's hard to imagine simply taking the benefits of western technology without the societal change and revolution the must come along with it.
Perhaps some extent, but that doesn't mean I need to adopt Western culture. Changes? Probable. Western Xerox? Improbable.

Australia's a First World country, making it more of a target than, say, Africa or some parts of Asia.

It's also a net food importer, IIRC, and has highly variable weather; it can only hold a fraction of its current population without trade with the rest of the world.

I'm amazed half of Australia survived.

Two things to do: Sniff the paint until you're almost at maximum Toxicality, and explore the rest of this facility.

You sniff the paint and grab the milk and meat. You have a feeling that you should probably cook the meat first, somehow, but aren't sure how. You instead help yourself to the whole jug of milk.
(+5 Nutrition, +2 Minerals) Cool, you've gotten two new Assets...and, by proxy, an Attribute and a Vital! Nutrition can be spent to reduce Toxicality or heal--it does the former automatically, which explains why you vomited, but the latter has to be activated. Minerals increases Constitution at 2, 4, 8, etc. Constitution does something. Finally, Health measures how healthy you are. Presumably.

Having done so, you decide to open some doors.

Because as soon as we melt it to get the HP back THE JIG IS UP unless he sells it first.
I don't think we have the same plan.

My plan: Sell blood stuff, buy max HP/SP, repeat.
Your plan: Sell blood stuff, resorb blood stuff, run like crazy. Which, to be fair, we are.

Send some researchers to research a joint project with the 80-15-5 Republic, focusing on theoretical physics, notably gravitational sciences. Also work on whatever "applicational physics" the 80-15-5ers are thinking of.

Three things to consider:

1. It's not a scam, blood items are pretty useful. Well, useful as non-blood items, and probably cheaper. It could revolutionize the economy!

2. Why couldn't we do it multiple times at each shop?

3. We're not sure about how well the math works out...

33623
It could only be used by giants anyway.
Oh, right. And the only giants around are those fire giants of Az-Sho...
Well-played.

33624
You made one capture.

"Possibly crazy. Who would build a place like this?"

Continue on in the dungeon, waving the scepter and praying to random gods.
