Since I might as well, what would any of you say to me incorporating Az-Sho, Neyravah and Vanida? I'm looking to turn my mod into a fantasy kitchen sink.
I'm intrigued by how Neyravah would be added and am sad that you can't have a single creature referred to with plural pronouns.

In other News: I think the it takes several dozen generations till the earth runs out of substrate for the plump helmets so the Dwarfs will survive for a whole long time.
I officially have no clue how plump helmets work.

It can't violate the laws of physics.

Mortals are not mere playthings
Emphasis mine. Listen to it.

Thaneos did it and now he's dead.
Just to point out two things...
1. Thaneos's death had to do with getting involved with Udil's attack on Az-Sho, not his dealings with mortals.
2. Vandia, the goddess who's helped mortals the most, was driven off and nigh-powerless for a while. Neyravah, the god who tried to help mortals the most, are dead.

Interesting Question Elf, Science would dictate that they extinguish their flames...on the other hand their magical beings...magical godlike beings...so whether lack of oxygen will hamper them is quesitonable...
Regardless, they'd not like it at all.
Besides, living things need to breathe; it stands to "reason" that the need for air would be kept by fire giants.

Xantalos: I shouldn't be doing this, but the following:
b) Udil...decide to free you
is probably your best chance of escape. You'll need to do some dreamwork or something to convince Udil that freeing you would be good for Udil, but...it could work.

Towers aren't that much more labor intensive or materials intensive, simply more skill intensive. A semi-circular tower every 66 meters is not a game changer.
Shuttup, shuttup, you're not helping!

It's a bit OOC, but about medieval stonework: french scientists decided that they weren't understanding the building of a medieval castle enough, and so just went on and built one. Using the 13th century techniques of course.
It started in 1997 and is supposed to take 25 years (because of the lack of workers). Meaning they are about halfway by now.
I visited it, and it was beyond absolute coolness. It was like I went back in time :D
All of that just to say that these guys might know a bit about how long it takes to build towers and wall, because they are building some with their own hands. :D
Why do the French never act the way fictional French people would?
...Probably the same reason Americans don't act like fictional ones. Usually.

Take 48 other dwarves from all ages and walks of life.

Also take a ton of food, an army of cats, two dozen turkeys, several dogs, picks, axes, arms or armor as needed, stone, ore, wood, etc.

Oh, and enough wagons and pack animals to carry all that.

...

Or some variation of that which is less extravagant.

Also anything major like territory swaps would have to be consensual.  You can't just force territory on them, it would cause problems if Spain just decided to give South America to the US.  There would be the chance of several wars, and the US might not want that.  Seeing as Jefferson had to think about annexing the Louisiana Purchase, he would probably have to hold off on South America for a while.  Just have both sides pm me yes if that is the case.
But white elephants are so Fun!

I'd LOVE to be in a war of attrition with both Russia and China!
Provided I was on their side of course.
That's the only good way to be in a war of attrition--on the winning side. (Protected from direct attrition by hundreds of miles of your allies' land on one side and hundreds of miles of ocean on the other...)

You decide to paint a bit.

First, you go one tile to the right, east you suppose, and carefully pick it up.
Turns out, your inventory has two parts. One is what you are holding or wearing, the
Main Inventory. This includes clothes and what's held in the hands, of course. You're not sure what the other part is, just yet.

Then, you enter the next room and grab the spoon. Finally, you try painting on the plate.[/font] [2-3-5] (improper tools) This ends up kinda horrible. You manage to break the plate, even! On the bright side, you learn about skills, and that you have a Painting skill of Novice.

Next, you decide to eat some paint, again using that trusty spoon. As you do so, you get a sniff of it--ugh!
(+1 Toxicality, +1 Creativity) You seem to have gained your first Asset and Ailment! Yay?

Next, to check the doors.

Huh. Well, now for the other door...

Yeah, I don't think we should alter the name when we just tame it. We could alter the new when our domestication results in a genetically different subspecies. (Ie, differences between dingoes and dogs, as wel as mustangs and other horses. The one is a subspecies of the other)
How different are mustangs from horses?
Mustangs are horses. They're a subspecies of horses. There's a genetic difference between a mustang and any other horse race/breed. Differences are small, but they exist.
Mostly this is becoming a problem because press often wrongly uses the word Mustang for any wild horse, which is not correct.
LInk
And presumably there are some genetic differences between browts and packbacks.
You'd better hope not, because that would mean we probably can't tame any browts. (Wild creature usually doesn't have the right genes to tolerate sentients)
...
By that logic, wolves are untameable because dogs have genetic differences from them.

Anything I should add or change?

And sorry about the IC mistake.

Sorry, didn't notice that.

You'll need to be more specific.

There are three items you're pretty sure you could pick up. In order of proximity, there is the paint can, the plate, and the spoon.

You could also try the bed or sofa, or even the door or something, but practice with what you know should work first.

Also, the USA is rather popular.
Considering where a lot of Bay12 is from...
Even though I'm Australian.
Might I remind you that "a lot" does not mean "all"?

And yeah, in your case it's obviously a different reason.

33747
I believe that it was sven that killed them both by stealing the bow and causing them both to splatter while greenstar maintains that Alani killed sven despite performing no action and having no knowledge of the hats functionsimply because she owned it.
I imagine Greenstar has his own spin on his argument which makes it more convincing, but the way you put it, it sounds like you're right.

Moved to proper thread.

I was talking about the flying ones, that have magically growing plants.
Ah. They do?
And isn't someone destroying them?

As for the timetravel thingy:
Our timetraveler dissappears in A and ends up in B. THough it works the other way around too. That doesn't appears to be the case, as it would result in either duplicate dwarves (In B), or missing dwarves (In A)
The results all depend on which timeline we end up playing.
