Would it be possible to create a race of biomachines?
Be more specific. When it's made of life, "machine" is a bit tough to define...
I mean augmenting a creature with parts made form other compounds, such as giving organisms naturally metallic bodies, so essentially they are born cyborgs.
I can't think of any reason why not, but I still doubt that's possible without significant meddling...

Say, can Sasha talk?

33768
(If Sasha can't talk:)
"Oh, look, it's Sasha! Why is it squawking so much? Did something happen to the Archmage?...Is he down a  well or something?"

(If she can:)
"...Why is Sasha talking?"

Now, if we had the Xanatos class, then we could. Or maybe the Cheater class...
You called?
Oh wait wrong spelling. Still, whaddaya need?
Xanatos. Mr. David Xanatos. As in, this Xanatos, from this show.

Because we are just a bunch of voices. No organization; we can't keep up the well-planned kind of insanity the Joker does.
Oh this. Give me sufficient motivation: why organize you (or fail trying) in order to do evil?
Well, ye of double-posting, I wasn't recommending that, and CERTAINLY not by you.

Why is our simple action with a +1 vote planned accordingly as if it'll succeed?
Because of the arrogance of the guy who posted the action?

tryrar: They run the turn in the admin interface with just their turn, then do another one, ad infinitum.
That's kinda clever...but I'd feel better if I saw what the others were doing before doing my turn.

GreatWyrmGold, I feel this is very VERY important to note.

I succeeded. The Devourer is imprisoned. So yeah. As far as 'successful gods' go? Im right up there.
I made that comment before noticing that, and
Unless his RetCon works, in which case no, you didn't succeed.
And even if it doesn't, he'll try again. Probably with you as the target.

In truth, its possible he can snipe me with that Timebound act
And that's only a good outcome from a very specific point of view.

So at this point the entire world is dead.
Not quite, I'm pretty sure there are those trees in that jungle where Neyravah died which are somehow still alive, presumably due to the magic imbued by Neyravah's death.

1 act  Teleport the wyrms, and, if possible,  any other life  from Sychasis to Eversummer (wyrms is first priority, other life forms is the second if any power is left )
Oh yeah, this will end REALLY well. Teleport them from the Death Star to the Dying Planet.
well, considering they survived on Sychachis without problems, they should do fine on Despair too.
Why?
Have you missed the bit about how JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ON DESPAIR IS DYING OR DOOMED?

...As such, he took his pattern, and made a few chances, irrevocably connecting the Cosmic engine and his soul, so that when he died, so would the Engine, and the universe with it.
I'm not even going to bother with sarcasm. THIS IS A BAD IDEA.
For one thing, it assumes that the gods who would want to kill you would be stopped by a little thing like ripping a new Void open.
Actually, just ripping the old void further open. And besides, that's not the IC reason, which is that if I can't have my unstable reactor of deadly doom, nobody can.
Hm. Well, still.

Wait. Is Un crossing his own time stream? Wouldn't that cause paradoxes and general universe-fucking-over?
*nods nervously*
Dammit Derm...wait wrong guy.
Actually, it depends on the linearity of time and the exact mechanics of time travel.
He's sure trying to risk a time paradox.

Oh, and I hope I get in soon. All this for a game I'm not even playing?
You know, constantly asking to be let in might not be the best thing to do.
...True.

Also: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay away from everyone else ever so it's not like you have to worry about me screwing anything up.
YOU FOOL! YOU'VE DOOMED US ALL!

Clicked on the play thread and skimmed the last few pages, saw Udil is now Udil-Volondor or something, so I re-instated my intro to Volodor in the main play thread. But not my contentious first Act, heheh. Didn't think he'd be used afterward. Godspeed!
I KNEW Volodor was another god!

Under Phillip Augustus  beginning in 1190, Paris enclosed approximately one square mile in 20 foot walls 10 feet thick. It took about 25 years for a city of 30,000 people. Just saying!
We've got WAY less than 30,000 people. I'm not sure if we have [sqrt 3*(10^4)] people yet!
...[(sqrt 3)*(10^2)] is actually about how many people live in our town. Huh.

Anyways, that's convenient. Assuming our cities are in the same shape, our city's area would probably be about the square root of Paris's (assuming no room for growth was added), which would mean the wall was...let's see. For the sake of calculations, assume a square wall; the ratios should work out the same using whatever shape, but squares are easiest.
pP=4sP
AP=sP2
ps=4ss
As=ss2
AP=As2
sP2=ss4
sP=ss2
This doesn't sound right...I'm almost certain I made an error somewhere...

[MATHS REDACTED]

It would take 3.2 years.
Huh. This works out better. Let's go with 3 years, 2 months, and 12 days. Make it "and 2.5 months"--those extra few days will help us if something unexpected goes wrong.

The strangers want to be chopped up into little pieces and put into the breeding pit!
No, no, while we may want to chop them up and put them in the breeding pit (I don't, for one), they surely don't. Do we need you to take your Identity Course again?

The strangers seam to have a browt with them
Yeah it's a browt with a pack.
:(
...Well, some creatures have different names when wild and tame; feral (ie now-wild) dogs are called dingoes, feral horses are mustangs, okay most of these examples are feral/tame not tame/wild but still. Have tamed and properly trained browts be called packbacks. Because puns are nice.

Anyways.

33775
...Nothing. I really don't want to know the alternative.
My bet is on Yersinia pestis or something like that.
Is that actually in the deck?

Here are some Rugby highlights. Here are some NFL Football highlights. Team USA (rugby) ranges from 5'8" to 6'4" and 160-215 lbs. Players in the NFL range from 5'5"-169lbs (Trindon Holliday, who is noted as super small,)  to 6'9" (King Dunlap) and 375lbs (Michael Jasper, actual video starts about a minute in). According to this a national rugby player can get away with a 40m time of 5.65 seconds, if they're on the big and slow end, roughly 6'2" and 220lbs. Comparatively, Michael Jasper, that 375lb man from above, runs a 40 yard dash in 5.58 seconds. Chris Johnson has the current record for fastest 40 yard time at 4.24 seconds. A good comparison of the "big slow rugby player" is Adrian Peterson, who is 6'1" and ~220lbs. He runs the 40 in 4.4 seconds. Also, keep in mind also that American Football hits tend to be a lot more vicious in general because the players wear padding, and aren't worried about hurting themselves making a hit.
What part of my post indicated that I cared?
No offense, I'm just not a sports guy.

Anyways, in part due to this digression into sports, I suspect that we're rapidly reaching the Point of Limited Returns, where more posts will be devoted to off-topic things than on-topic, leading to a swift decline in the number of actual new ideas...so let's try to get on course and hope for a swift update.

For whatever reason I just had to hover over the text and it translated.  I don't question my computer anymore, it just decides to do things on its own.  Oh the above post says all.  :P
Huh, I hadn't noticed he did that...hey, it was edited! That explains that.

Wait. The other turn got posted? Wow, I've completely missed that.
...
...
So where was the turn posted?
EDIT: I'm not that blind, am I?
No, he just edited it into a previous post.
IN ANOTHER THREAD! A HA HA HA! No, seriously, it was this one.

33778
Yeah...simplest thing with the lease chance of going wrong is to go around.

Both javierpwn and Loud Whispers have scouts to place, on {E9,F9,E7,F7} for javier and on {D-G4,D3,G3} for the Loud Whisperer. Dariush still needs to place his pawn.

Speaking of them...javierpwn?

There is a limit, but it's based on how many things are foolish enough to enter and die.
