No wonder I couldn't find it, the name was different than I remembered.
And I don't remember that restriction on previous employment being there...
Forensic
The first time I saw an extraterrestrial anomaly was when I was sitting in my living room, debating with a friend who had come over to visit (ironically, over the existence of UFOs--I was skeptical). A man knocked on the door, and I answered it. It seemed odd for a Jehovah's Witness or whatever to be showing up at this hour, but what was I to judge?
The rest of the evening gets increasingly fuzzy. I invited the stranger in, we had supper, and after some drinks got into a fight. My old friend was knocked out after one blow, but I managed to hit the stranger in the chest with something. Suddenly, my memory clears. I don't think I'm going to forget the next bit.
My friend's head was cracked open. He sure looked dead, and the coroner later agreed. The stranger didn't look human anymore; it seemed more like some kind of...buggy reverse anemone thingy. It was unconscious as well, I must have hit it pretty hard with what turned out to be a dirty frying pan. Naturally, I called 911. Surprisingly, these guys showed up...And you know the rest.
Sorry for the delay.
