And GWG's talking about the massive year-long timeskip that happened right before the battle.  During which nobody died.
Actually, I was talking about the actual battle, during which some bodies died.

I know that. Just referring to the fact that Grates memory within a widening time frame gets wiped or something like that.
His memory resets to how it was when he died the first time each time he dies.

So, that's 8+10 tokens. 18 for handin' out to people. Auron probably gets a few more for his generous contribution, but aside that, I think just giving one or two tokens to the very new people (with 0 or 1 missions, not counting this one or the boarding) will be the best we can manage.
By "this one," do you mean defense or both defense and invasion?

sell off my battlesuit gear before miyamoto can "donate" it on my behalf.
pocket the tokens then return to waiting for launch.

METAAAAAAAA

But sure, I'll play along. Let's dance  :P
This will end well for everyone except Auron. Hey UP, how many annoyed newbies and angry Champions of Noob do you think you can take?

There is a reason I put an "if" in there.

And I agree, but it should apply to all non-natives in the lands named after Amerigo [sic] Vespucci.

What have I done?

If we get caught do we get to keep playing?
They attack you like normal enemies, so it'll just do HP damage. The exception is the Elite guards (there will be some near the final stretch) which have an arrest ability that won't insta-end your game, but it will affect what happens to you during the timeskip. You won't lose, but you won't have the same opportunities that the other players get by escaping. If you run out of HP its the same as being arrested.
Wait, lower-level guards can't arrest people?

Everyone. Since she did.
"Of her own free will" does not cover being coerced or forced into it. Given that Beth is a child, I'm guessing that nothing short of a confession of malicious intent would make people think she wasn't being forced or coerced to do so by Dran, who--being an adult forcing children to do his crimes for him--would not fare well either under the legal system or in jail. ("Wait, you got put here for a crime you made a little girl do, because you wouldn't do it yourself?")

And he needs the factory to turn the Raw into Goods. Ain't economics a butch?

...The states are weird.
Even we Americans* often think so.

*Why is there no better term for people who live in the United States?
Yup.
There really should be, technically Americans can apply to like...
at least three different groups?
Three nations north of Central America.

(Americans is just simpler. No one else uses the name, because they've got their own country names.)
On the other hand, American also applies to the entire continent.
And really, if there was any nation that deserves the adjective "American," it would be a Native American one. Maybe the Inca.

I decide to borrow my brother's ave and put something in orbit. So, different filler.

to DRopBox Screenshot (Background Visible)

On top: A command pod, landing legs, and a parachute. Last stage: 900 units of fuel plus oxidizer, three LV-909 rockets, reaction wheel. second stage: 2160 units of fuel plus oxidizer, four LV-T45 rockets, four reaction wheels. First stage: Six rocket boosters. LEt's see how close I get to orbit.
the rocket quickly starts tilting and spinning. Manually forcing the controls to try and stabilize it leads to nothing except, perhaps, stopping it from getting worse. The solid boosters are emptied and discarded at 2900 meters; the gimbal of the four main engines corrects this. However, they can't lift the craft up faster than gravity pulls it down. Surface speed drops to 133 m/s on the nose before spent fuel or something makes us light enough to start accelerating again. The craft begins tilting, but it is quite responsive now. Unfortunately, I encounter a bigger problem: The game crashed.
Thankfully, not all was lost!

How does one copy the URL of an image that won't let you right-click on it?

The second launch is pretty decent to start with. Unfortunately, the game crashed again right after I typed that (4000 meters, second stage, flight vertical and stable), so I guess I jinxed myself there.
third try isn't bad. At 5000 meters, something seems to explode, but I'm not sure what--everything looks fine. The gravityt urn is attempted, but the ship is a bit hard to control. Note to self: The next version is getting winglets. Assuming I ever makea  second version, of course. And of course, the game crashes.

You know what? Forget this. Too much escape-pausing is bad for the game, it seems.

By the end of my last attempt, the ship was above 14000 kilometers and was running low on stage fuel. Maybe a tenth left? I'm guessing I could have probably made it into orbit with the last stage, though getting back might be a pain.

My charging cord should come back tomorrow, so that should mark the end of the Picless Demo Adventure.

((We've all been on the planet for a year.  I think it's safe to assume everyone knows everyone.))
(Lets just say it was wiped due to the death thing.)
Wait, Grate died in the battle?
Also, this should really be OOC.

3459
((Everyone probably knows everyone else's face, and most peoples' names, but that doesn't mean we know each other past that. My own experiences agree with this deduction. Some people I had class with all through high school were barely more than a name and a face to my knowledge...if that says what I meant it to say...))

Anyway, I prefer the other 2 above Rex, as they have much more stuff that distances them from their archetype.

Then again, who am I to judge?
Someone who has the same opinion as the guy who created them, as it happens.

3462
Lars nods at his teammates.  "Hello, young Brother Grate.  Unusual to see one so young coming on a mission so dangerous- may Algis cover you with his shielding hands on this perilous quest.  Brother Jack, hello again.  May the gods favor us as we go forth in the name of Most Glorious Steve!  Is everyone ready?"
"I think I am...um...thanks?"

"I am ready." Jack says before turning to Grate. "Hello again Grate, remember me?"
"Um..."
((What would Grate remember him from?))

Which leads to a train of thought about space magic sensors...how much feedback can you get from amps and such? If you tell it to apply, say, a decinewton of force to a thing a dekameter that way from you, can you determine how much a thing moves? Or something?

That's why I always do my tags manually...
Same here. Plus, it just feels right somehow.

Edit: This, and previous judgments are not a very serious reviews, and based on stereotypes and oversimplification. Not going to give actual serious criticism until I'm certain that I'm actually in a position where it's not completely hypocritical to do so.
Makes me feel better about your (brief) review.
In your opinion, which is the most interesting?

Therefore, hint for the GM. Request sample actions. Gives you an intention of how players would play the game, and keeps them busy for now.
I'd suggest a modification to this idea: Sample actions, to (semi-)specific situations. The actions a god takes when he rules the world and faces an uprising would be massively different from those when he rules a tribe (with several other religions competing for dominance) would when facing an uprising.
